Aw...that was so cute...

I'm jealous of Kyoko! XD Mitchal's a great guy...

Great alternate pairing, and excellent story. I felt as if I were part of their dinner conversation!

That was so cute! There are so many little things in here that just work so, so well...I'll try to play-by-play and hope I hit everything...

I love the degree selections for everyone. Ian's education must be put to good use working for Clair. And Kyoko the librarian-she has the personality! I never noticed that before!

Clair turning the monitor around with all the information already on it literally made me laugh out loud; I could see his self-satisfied grin...nice depiction of what a normal day at the Special Unit is really like! (And those two comments merited being in the same sentence...why?)

I swear, every male culinary student I know has long hair (even if Mitchal did have it shorter then)! I can definitely see him being happy in that sort of environment.

The grapes dig was very amusing, as was the Dante reference. Ugh, if I had a name like that...

The Clair photo scene was so poignant. I'd never even stopped to consider how his peers had treated him. And Mitchal's way of lightening the mood again dovetailed in very nicely.

Kyoko doing karaoke would probably startle Daisuke more than any other aspect of that evening!...but I think she made the right decision at the end. All the talk about "next time" was so sad, though...because unless they made this a nightly occurance, there won't be one...

Your close editing, etc. paid off. This is a great deal of fun, but also very perceptive. (Still in awe over the Kyoko-librarian connection, of all things...she's so tailored for that kind of a job..."Please pay your fines on time!")
