This is a beautiful and somber piece of work that actually made me contemplate the complexities of Bill and Nancy’s relationship. I get the feeling that Bill loves the idea of being loved more than he loves the woman, but is too consumed by his job and lifestyle to open up to her. The hardships of the city twisted his soul too long ago for him to gain any redemption, but she treasured the glimpses of his humanity that showed every now and again. Great work!
