I really enjoyed this chapter. I think the twins can be difficult to characterise, mostly cos they don't appear individually a whole lot, so I really like what you've done with him here. Love the opening with all the classics. And definitely Presley over Costello and Eastwood over Van Damme, though personally don't care for cheeseburgers. But never parachute pants.

Ahem. Anyway. Really love the first meeting with Rusty. Makes so much sense that they'd meet over a car, because with Rusty's Mustang, we know they have that in common, and I can just imagine Turk following someone who outbid him at an auction to argue or deal or who knows what, because everything we do see says that he just has that kind of passion and, well, impulse control problems. Plus, Rusty picking up a guy in a bar who possibly came to start a fight and driving to Provo with him? That's very definitely him.

Somehow, I'm amused by the picture of Turk and Linus working out together. Mostly because I think Linus would be constantly watching the other person in that situation and trying to make sure he keeps up but doesn't outpace them, because he'd worry about that sort of thing. Whereas Turk, would just be doing his thing...and probably glistening into the bargain.

And I like the fact that Turk is a volunteer. Again, it really sounds like him. Enjoying being the centre of attention. And just so you know I'm giggling manically for the "For gods sake it's not porn it's a charity fundraiser." I really need to know who the who was. :) And of course there's a car involved. And of course it's a classic. Because that's Turk. And as Frank says, he has respect.

And of course I'm smiling for the last image. Yep. That would be one hell of a draw.

Looking forwards to April. Virgil, by any chance? I'm interested to see what Reuben has planned.

Oh, Linus. This was inevitably something that would happen to him. Life just isn't fair to him. Love his thoughts on Valentine's Day - a wonderful way of painting his background and the kind of person he is very quickly. Liked the constant theme of awkwardness and overthinking everything.

Also, I'm amused by the thought that the best Valentine's Day Linus ever spent was with Yen.

See, I'm still wondering what you're going to do for the twelfth. I'm hoping for Roman and kind of dreading Terry. Though I think Toulour is the one most likely to actually strip off. I mean, other than Rusty. And I really like the idea of a story with a chapter a month. It's a nice sort of schedule to work with. And I'll be eagerly awaiting each new chapter.

And I like this characterisation of Reuben here. I can easily believe that Reuben is active in the community, and even more that he knows all his staff and keeps track - with Dominic's help - of everything they're going through and just makes sure to give them the help they need. He's generous, warmhearted and even-handed.

And I love Dominic just casually mentioning the swimwear photographs to Vivian. He probably remembers them well. And I am glad that Reuben manages to persuade her that the early photos are the ones to go with. Probably more the sort of thing that is expected.

And I love that Reuben immediately thinks to get the rest of them involved. Can't help but think he's going to get a lot of entertainment out of this...and so am I. Looking forward to more.
