Loving this fic! And after having rewatched Infinite Stratos once again, I'm looking forward to this fic.

I love the parts where they hang out together while waiting for the matches. Having dinner together. Gives me a sense of realism. Nice story so far.

Please don't let any of our favorite girls and Ichika get court marshaled or sentenced to something bad. They're all good people. At least give them a good lawyer.

It's always nice to read your work, you've got a nice realistic look on IS.

Ah, Communists... making everything worse since the 1900's.

Good to see you still writing.

Good to see you continued, the back room deal are where all the interesting things are going to happened. If you worried about leaving the main cast out, have Tabane hack into those meetings. She would be anyways to make such Ichika and Houki are let off. So have Tabane send the feed to what ever room they stuck in and have them do commentary.

Why Rin isn't my favorite Ichika's love interests, I still don't want to see her die. I really think China will have her executed just so they don't have to deal with her. She have no protections, like the other girls and Ichika. I really double they will look with her plan of being a double triple agent.

Finally. Started reading this fic and JUST caught up to the end of it. Well, current end anyway.

I love the world building done here. Gives a guy ideas. XD

Hey man, just want to say that I love this story. I don’t have a fan fiction account, but I’ve been following this story for a real long time, and it just keeps getting better and better with each installment. The characters, the descriptions, the language, the technology it’s all fantastic. You have singlehandedly made Tatenashi into my favorite character, and now I just hope that she and Ichika end up together in the end (I know you’re not focusing on romance now, but that makes the moments all the better), because they complement and understand each other so well. Heck, you’ve almost made Houki close to bearable and interesting (I’m sorry, but I just still can’t like her, you’ve done a great job redeeming her character but damn she and her IS drive me up the wall)! Anyway, I can’t wait to see where you go from here and just know I’ll be following Ichika and co until the end. Unless he ends up with Houki, cause then we’re gonna have problems. Anyone but her, please ;). Love your writing mate! P.S. More Giorgi! Oh, and as a French speaker, it’s always fun to see Charlotte use French. Cheers.

Посмотрел начало, мотнул в конец. Как было фекалиями, так и осталось.

'your son's' really, such a stupid mistake, did you even proof read this before posting?
And this shit you just added to each character? Nah, thanks.

Hey Generatedname I finally got to read your latest story chapters for the Kanzashi story arc. I really enjoyed the extra back story you've provided for both the Sarashiki sisters and what's happening in IS-verse Soviet Union/Russia.

Plus, the story arc itself reminds me a lot of classic technothriller war novels like Tom Clancy's Red Storm Rising and Larry Bond's earlier works like Red Phoenix, Vortex and Cauldron. Were you inspired by such novels too? I really enjoyed said titles and the current story arc reminded me of them. More so due to the info index you're also provided for the various military tech and vehicles for Agent Orimura.

Plus, you weren't kidding about those computer simulation war games providing you with a lot of ideas of how the larger scale conflict could plan out and how they could help your with Agent Orimura's story-telling.

Plus, this chapter revealed the NASTY revelation that thanks to IS tech and the latest developments in cyberwarfare and AI tech, the old Nuclear Triad deterrence which kept major countries from going to open war with each other post-WW2 is now gone and the possibility of open warfare becoming more common among said major countries is now more certain? Because right now, we are facing WW1 and WW2 style military and political power tensions, only with IS tech.

And as always, I've loved the deeper look and portrayal of both the IS canon characters and the OC characters you've created for Agent Orimura. THIS is how the IS-verse and story should have been explored, not a painfully shallow high school harem story...

Once again, thanks for keeping us in the loop and I hope to see the latest chapters (ch 41 and 42 I think) being posted in the Spacebattles Story Thread soon.

The people need a sex scene! But nothing overboard, just a wholesome scene or maybe a rotal failure by chifuyu-nee walking in on them but something like this in the upcoming chapters would be TASTY!

Wow what a wonderful series, but im new to and i don’t know if this series is continuing, so i came to ask from the writer him/herself. Is this series still continuing, if yes do you have any plans for how many chapters?

Definitely enjoyed the chapter, but some mixed thoughts this time.

To be honest, I expected the stranded-in-enemy-territory part to have lasted about a chapter longer. While the last chapter did get some good scenes between Ichika and Tatenashi, I felt like it was a bit of a missed opportunity that there wasn't much more interaction with the Spetsnaz group, which I think could've fleshed out how the AO kids' mindsets worked in comparison to full-time professionals.

I guess, it just felt like the last chapter was setting up for a slightly longer working relationship with them for at least a few days while waiting for the extraction operation to start, which I thought would've been a cool way to get Ichika and Tatenashi to interact with people outside the Academy and Organisation spheres.
Plus, the abrupt extraction this chapter immediately separates Ichika and Tatenashi from the Spetsnaz group, which makes the latter's suspicions toward the former seem like it won't be going anywhere.

I think the military exposition part has some mixed results. It doens't feel too complicated or difficult to follow, but it does feel a little information-dense in getting all the details out at once, all for an operation that the narrative doesn't fully follow up on since it jumps back to Ichi/Tate's viewpoint at the endpoint of STS-01's side of things.

Either a greater reduction of detail such as having the briefing fall into the background as characters like Kanzashi reflect on the situation, or a full expansion of the narrative to show the other parts of the operation in detail with parts of the briefing interspersed in between them might have worked better, in my opinion.

On the other hand, the collection of brief scenes showing all the military mobilisation following that does a great job poignantly getting across that feeling of massive, geopolitics-changing events getting started, in the "oh boy, it's happening", kind of way.

I liked how you managed to get Ichika to contribute to the brief firefight using the tech advantages of his visor. It would've been out of place if he could somehow keep up with SFs as a fighter, but he still managed to get involved without being forced to huddle behind cover for all of it. That was a nice touch.

Minor thing though, considering the autonomous nature of the Organisation, and Japan's non-membership status, would Ichika even use NATO reporting names?

The scene afterwards with the ER crew raises some interesting implications about the uses of EMP against cybernetics, though considering its effects, it may count as an inhumane weapon.
Regardless, looks like you're setting up some fun things with them down the line.

I have to agree that Chifuyu's portrayal seems...not sure what but...something.
But at least there's clear characterisation on her part in regards to the whole "I'll do anything to protect him! But he's not allowed to do the same to protect me!" mindset. Which is...an irksome, and somewhat predictable character trait, but also a very understandable one nonetheless.
At least you got some humor out of it by having her scare Ichika down to his dinosaur DNA.

So, IMPLICATIONS aside, the scene with Tatenashi did a very nice job wrapping things up, by basically making them ignore all the politics and drama to deal with later so they can wind down from it all. And her last few lines are just really good at getting that mix of relief and intimacy across.

Though I'm still not too sure about the Katana thing. It just feels a bit too artificial, and a detail that I think could've been left in canon.

Oof, PT though. PT scenes always so many interesting things.
A shakeup in the status quo of nuclear deterrence is going to have so much implications in geopolitics, I hope we get some time to see the extent of it before PT shenanigans go right into full gear.
If it leads to a global race for each nation to better arm themselves, that would really elevate the importance scale of characters like Ichika, Kanzashi and Cecilia. Or, really, everyone in STS-01.

And I guess you're implying in this scene that Aaron isn't just a guy who spends 24/7 in an underwater lab somewhere but is actually ruling territory, possibly as an ER warlord? Now that is VERY different from the usual Mad Scientist type, and I really want to see what his "territory" looks like now.
Think I'm gaining a decent understanding on what sort of desire is motivating Aaron too.

And heh, I guess genetically engineered heirs would at least mean a guaranteed minimum for inconvenient health issues and birth defects as far as royal lineages go. Though the insanity and megalomania risk might go up.

So some issues with the first half, but a lot to like towards the end, is what I felt.

When Chifuyu is really mad she a hurricane with Kaijus in it, so don't fill bad not caputring that.

I thought the invasion was well done.

Now for the legal and political stuff, I'm looking forward to the trial. It's noting going to be a 'trial' but more of varies political group using them as pawn in their games.

I think several are immune from any real consequences.

Cecilia is the owner of Britian's top IS company and part of the arisocracy. The worse she would face is several years of house arrest in her mansion.

Ichika and Houki are protected by Chifuyu and The Bunny Godess of Chaos, who in their right mind would go against either one and worse both.

If China makes a deal with West Russia for military aid for huge parts of Sibera. Then Rin is fine. China is not communist, but just another corrupt dictatorship. Some of Rin family must be high ranking military or they wouldn't let her be a pilot. So many back room deals and she might be a publicly dress down, but that be in the middle of Chinese control Sibera.

Laura, how much does the public and the world know she a German genetically Engineer super soilder ?

Yeah, I don't think the German government want the headlines ' German Genetically Engineer Super Soilder on Trial', trust me that info will be found out and leaked. So they ship Laura some where isolated and everything about her and the goverment plan that her and the other will be bury under miles of paper work.

That just leave Charlotte and the sisters, I don't think they have anything that can protect them.

I still think Charlotte's mother was just a maid of the Duros family. So she have nothing to protect her.

The sister might be able to get off, but they might have to play ball with Japan. Kanzashi would have to make a lot of weapons for Japan and Tatenashi might have to join the Japanese military.
