*This is DAIrinchan, but i changed my name.
Oh, what a /twist/. This Asami’s Flow is fascinating. I love me some parallel world-alternate timeline shenanigans.
YOU DID IT. I can’t believe you actually did “Amon a boat.” I have to give you serious props for that. Pun!Amon is just … i don’t even know, fam. Not what i expected, that’s for sure. That poor man.
I also cracked up at the raccoon dog – there was a part of me going, “But that’s a real animal, you’re slipping up,” only to learn that you used it specifically to make that joke. Good job.

Hi! It's a pleasure to read you, I came by chance and I'm so grateful to fate for having come across this wonderful story. I was reading all weekend and today I have been up to date. I am fascinated by how your story took this form, once I wondered what would have happened if the Red Lotus had captured Korra, but my imagination is not as good as yours, I am really delighted and anxious to know what will happen.
I am sorry for my terrible English, I am learning so I apologize if I cannot express my words clearly.
We will read each other in the next one! Abrazos desde la distancia!

Well. This has been an... experience.

Daaayum! Lotta curve balls in this chapter. Equalist!Asami is kinda scary and Bad Joke!Amon is both sad and hilarious. And the imminent coming of the "White Spirit"* has certainly upped the stakes.

*Everypony go read My Dark King.

"White Spirit" Oh yay, THAT GUY'S BACK...As a metaphor for the end of stories (then again he already said that he was that back in MDK) and thankfully not an overpowered guy going around killing everyone, but he's still back...He's not planning on destroying the Avatar-verse because of Korra's production issues, is he?

...He is isn't he? Great...

So, the two Flows...

Equalist Asami, wooo! Also, another sign of the female being more deadly than the male...since Yasuko ended up giving the Equalists everything they needed without needing to resort to terrorism...annnnnd we our Equalist Asami.

Then twins creepo killed her and...cue the other stuff. And trying to deny the "encounters" and "touching" just makes me think of a certain robot unit from the World of Tomorrow asking: "Was that before or after you slept with her?" Though, I don't think that this Korra was a Red Lotus one, considering the lack of a Combustion tattoo and Asami not knowing of the Lotus...but rather one much closer to canon, especially if Desna and Eska were acting on Unalaq's orders and he had no reason to associate with the Red Lotus if Zaheer's grand plan failed...

It really makes one consider what would have happened if regular canon Korra and Asami started getting together right out of the gate...
Uh, wait, scratch that thought, getting too pervy.

And the Amon memes! ...Honestly I was hoping more for Canon!Amon to pop up after Tarrlok blew them up, but then again, that probably wouldn't result in him agreeing to Equalist!Asami wanting to throw things off the rails even more than they already have.

And finally, Iroh. It seems he has an inkling of what is going on...and knows that when the time comes to face Oblivion, he'll be taking it graciously. I wonder if he's being reminded of Zuko seeing Korra in this state...On that note, I immediately went back and re-read the Flow comparison to see Korra's realizing of him being a White Lotus. Small details.

Also, I had the horrible mental image of the "original plans" where Iroh was actually evil. Do the Flows take into account prototypes? Because I'd rather we not see that. The idea of Iroh EVER being considered evil is like the idea that hot wings should be cold.

And now we stand 2-4 chapters away from the end...from the Cataclysm. We're not too far away from learning what exactly it is besides Korra's huge spirit form as a giant abomination...and oh lord I have no idea what will happen then...

I'll admit, I never thought THIS would be the climax of this Book, but here we are...and I can't wait for the next part!

I just wanted to pop in here and say this: I started reading this fic in 2017. I dont know why I wound up leaving it, but now I can certainly see that was a mistake. This is a fanfiction that makes me wish you had been a showrunner. The thought and care that went into this story, the depth, the development, the worldbuilding; all of it is so beautiful. I really love this and I cannot wait to catch up and eventually finish :) thank you for writing this

Oh, Iroh is /not/ doing well with the future. The art of teamaking has been lost, to be replaced by corporate Starbucks.
Ooh ugh, Dai Li brainwashing two point oh. Leave it to Kuvira’s kid, i guess. But iroh is so cool dealing with them!
Wow, i’d also forgotten Asami and Amon were caught in the Spirit World too while Korra was having this vision. I wonder where they are and what’s been happening to them…? Guess that’s something to look forward to in the next chapter.

Once again, quite the rabbit hole Korra and the others have found themselves in. Let's hope they can escape Wonderland soon.

Iroh is MVP. Really he is. Also laughed out loud at him being forced to endure the "Hot Leaf Juice" after he did so on the Titanic.

(There is context to that, I swear).

I thought the line was that the Straight Path wasn't necessarily the most interesting? ...I need to expand my readings (And Immunology review...)
We got our first signs of Korra breaking through the Red Lotus' "teachings", WOOO!

Interesting to see more of the comics material making its way here. Very nice to see.

Annnnd Asami's wrapped in the "mysterious cloak" NOOOOOO! Or...something...I have no idea what's going on...

So...I presume the next two chapters or so will be taking place in the Spirit World? That...could be interesting...overall, I found exploring more of the Bad Future to be enlightening (And get the usual reminder that Empire City is our world. Yaaaaaay), and intriguing. Still no idea on what the Cataclysm is, besides it being a twisted version of what Korra turned into to fight UnaVaatu (And the idea of UnaVaatu becoming a thing makes me nauseous after Vaatu's FINALLY had time to learn from humans in the Dark Avatar cycle and be less obviously evil.)

I look forward to the next part.

What a tweest!?

I must admit, I'm perversely impressed at what a ginormous shitstain Saahasik is.

Looking forward to the next chapter.

Wow. You've captured Hiroshi's grief and anger so well.

wow... i love this fanfiction so much

There is a lot to like with this fic, but the Intermissions have to be my favorite part strangely enough. What you do with the characters and their imagined backgrounds is not only written very well but could fit as easily with canon as it does this fic. Especially this one, where we see Hiroshi's fears and guilt and him funneling it all into hate. Made all the more impactful but seeing love in his life he lost in the first place.
4/18/2020 c31 20Dr. Algae
Dang... that hit hard even knowing it what was coming.

I really love what you did with Yasuko. You took a figure who was essentially a just a backstory placeholder and fully fleshed her out into a fully realized character. Which only made her inevitable loss sting all the more.

Nicely done.
