I love this so much! Although I really liked the Everything I’m Not series, I love how much more realistic and balanced the characters are in The Elite. I especially enjoy Ethan’s character and how you are changing the Sova family in this story from the original fanfics you wrote. It’s very interesting and adds more dimension to the characters, especially Monica! Can’t wait for future updates when you get the chance!

Really excited to see how things play out between Monica, Massie, Alicia, and Claire. I have to say that I loved the old series but this one feels like a real clique book! I used to love that Claire was the favorite in the Everything Series but I like that she's not the clear winner for alpha so far. This time feels more like a level playing field in the battle for alpha and I can't wait to see where it goes

I've been stuck back at home because of the virus and reading my old Clique books from middle school, and I remembered I used to read Clique fanfic all the time. So exciting to see people still writing it! This is so well-written, btw. The writing style perfectly matches the books :) I can't wait to see how everything unfolds

ahhhhhHH i loved the clique when i was a kid and got bored in quarantine so i reread them.. in a fit of insanity i checked to see if fanfiction for the clique existed and found this. its surprisingly really really good and now i have so. much. nostalgia. the PC really were not good people lollll i love this more modern high school version youre doing! its like a darker vers. i was wondering if youll be including themes like depression, eating disorder, mental illness, etc? sine its darker now and more realistic and every high schooler is depressed - hah idek but i really like it so far :D
im really excited to see more keep up the good work :))

Some more horse info I forgot yesterday. There are three sexes of horse, stallion (entire male) gelding (neutered male) and mare (female). Stallions can be tougher to manage because of testosterone and many horse shows don't allow kids under 18 to ride them, so the BOP riders will probably all have geldings or mares.
For horse shows English riders wear white, cream or fawn breeches, knee high black boots, and pale shirts under dark coats (generally black, navy or plum, but sometimes you see pine green or another dark color) and black helmets. For practice or for shows in hot weather they generally leave off the coat and may wear a polo shirt instead of a long sleeved shirt.
I can provide more information if needed!

Good you finished school!
Some basic information about horses you may need:
In America there are two basic types of riding, English and Western. Massie seems to ride English because in the books she competed in show jumping, in which a rider takes their horse over a series of jumps in a set order. The point is to get around the course in a certain time without knocking any over. (Also, rich kids on the East Coast is probably going to be English riding like the Canterwood Crest books.)
Most horses walk, trot and canter besides galloping. Trotting is where the opposite two feet hit the ground at the same time and it's bouncy. English riders post to it, meaning they rise and fall in the saddle to the rhythm. Cantering is basically a slow gallop and that's what Massie would do on a jumping course.
There are about 300 breeds of horse, but if Massie's horse's breed was given in the books I don't remember. In English riding the most popular breeds are Thoroughbreds, Dutch Warmbloods, Hanoverians, Trakehners, and Irish Sport Horses. Horses are commonly bay (red with black legs, tail and mane) chestnut (red or reddish brown all over) brown, black or gray. Most gray horses turn totally white with age.
A halter is the harness like thing you put on a horse's head to lead or handle it. A bridle is put on its head for riding, and the metal piece in the mouth is the bit. The long leather straps the rider holds and uses to direct it are reins.
