for Honest Game Trailers: Doom 3

Respectfully disagree with this. Doom 3 was one of the most finely crafted and most significant Doom titles ever released. Not to mention it was a commercial and critical success, it was id Software's best-selling game for many years in a row, and it still has a loyal fan/modding community to this day.

To be somewhat fair, I *did* kinda wonder where all the non-military personnel went during the original Doom. Having a bunch of former desk jockey zombies makes sense.

And the super shotgun only appeared in Doom II. If this was intended as a reboot of the series, it'd kinda make sense not to include it in the main game. Getting it during the DLC instead of waiting for the never-gonna-happen sequel is nice.

Now, if only either shotgun was at all useful at anything other than point-blank range. Or you could see the floor two inches in front of you without swapping out your weapon for a weak-ass flashlight. Or the demons were even halfway reasonably balanced. Or the DLC wasn't even more annoying than the main game.

Compared to this game, I get more of a feeling of anticipation and fear of loss while sniping an e-Bay auction than I do playing Doom anymore.

Terrific trailer, though!

just my opinion, here, but I think manufacturers have gotten complacent because they know that we'll buy whatever they put out based on a beloved franchise because something is better than absolutely nothing.

Funko Pop *THRIVES* on it, and I fought it when ThunderCats came out, resisted when the Hey, Arnold! ones came out- but I have gotten sucked in just like everyone else with the Korra pops.

*rolls eyes*

My pre-order is in...

The bastards also have made a chase one for the emo Home Depot: Hot Topic.
