AWWW. That was cute. This whole story is cute. Bravo.

Is there going to be another one about the wedding, and perhaps more on Elizabeth and Michael? I know this series is getting really long, but I think it would be cool.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this story (All 9 parts of it), and will remember it for a long time to come. I'll also probably re-read it sometime... Maybe multiple times... Yeah, it's that good.

Keep up the good work!

AHHHHHHH! I'm losing it right now! So cute, so cute, so CUTEEE! He proposed! I called it! I mean, I feel like everyone probably did, but whatever. I love how he was all tripping over himself; it was adorable.

"'When did I become their Uncle?'" Oh, Jack, you were ALWAYS their Uncle. It's just... official now (or will be very soon, anyway). EEEEE!

"'You would have hit your brother?'"
"'Yes.'"
If this ain't me and my brother- .

Also, what is Michael planning? I don't know, but, whatever it is, I'm here for it.

Yay, art! Yay, adorably awkward and in denial Michael crushing on this girl he just met!

I'm liking Elizabeth, so far. She'll be a nice addition to the group. I agree with Jane: Jack's going to like her as well.

Speaking of Jack - or, should I say, UNCLE Jack (Yes, John, YES) - is he going to propose in this one? A Christmas proposal seems like a very Jack thing to do. I feel like it would be fitting. Christmas is usually viewed as the holiday of hope, joy, and light, and if that doesn't describe their relationship, then I don't know what does. Fingers crossed!

Ah, Michael.

I don't know if I review this story early, but it was so cute.
I loved it.
Michael and Alex were nice together

sooo...I just realized I never actually reviewed this chapter. And then I looked at the chapter and realized it's because I never got around to reading this chapter; I think I had it in my head I already had so I didn't check. Anyway, I very much enjoyed this. It's good to see all of them so happy, even in sad times; a perfect Christmas-y story...even enjoyable in February.

This was such a sweet little story. I hope that we'll get to see a little more of this sweet family. I would love to see how the Banks's children react to Elizabeth's and Michael's relationship.

I'm not going to lie, this chapter made me smile all the way through. It was very sweet, joyful, and well... totally brimming with the Christmas spirit. It was nice to see Jack and Jane's relationship finally take another step forward and I really appreciated Michael getting more screen time too. Elizabeth seems nice and I hope she and Michael continue to enjoy each others' company. That was a very thoughtful gesture by Michael and she seemed to appreciate it too. Hopefully this isn't the end of the line for the Chimpanzooniverse, and that you'll write more stories in the future?

Regardless, thanks again for writing this and putting us in the holiday spirit. Merry Christmas to you too Chibi! :)

Awww this was so sweet. You've done such a nice job of handling the slow and natural development of this friendship. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this installment - Michael's surprise for Elizabeth was so thoughtful and heart-warming. :) Merry Christmas to you, too!

I actually had a moment of 'what, no, really?!' with the gift, that was definitely a surprise, a good one. This entire fic is perfect for the season, and not just because it takes place during the season; it just has that joyful vibe to it.

"Awww," I think that's the only word I've got to describe this whole chapter. So... much... sugar and fluffiness, lol. It seems the kids weren't the only ones who got some Christmas surprises here. At long last, it finally happened and I'm happy for Jack and Jane. They've been through a lot and I know Jack will make a great official uncle. Plus, it was very cool of Michael to help out with the ring too! I think I know what Michael's got planned for Elizabeth, but I look forward to seeing how this plays out!

This was a fun chapter - you captured the excitement of Christmas morning from the perspective of a child wonderfully, and there were a lot of nice touches throughout - more sibling banter between Jane and Michael, the constant running joke of Michael drawing on important documents, etc. And the proposal was a great surprise at the end! :)

I'm screaming! Jack just proposed! Jack just proposed! Jack just proposed!

Gotta love the sibling banter (Jane is a good older sister :)) and of course the innocent assumptions/observations of the children. The conversation between Michael and Elizabeth and how they've been dealing with their spouses' deaths was a poignant scene. "His artistic skills did not extend to gift wrapping" is completely relatable. A great chapter, and I'm looking forward to the next one!

It seems to me that Jane is having a little fun playing matchmaker here and the kids are helping, lol. The scene with the children was very sweet, but the thing I liked most was the way you contrasted Michael’s home situation with Elizabeth’s. In a way, he's luckier to have had Jane and the kids to help him. Michael clearly understands the most about how cold, dark, and lonely it feels to lose a spouse so that makes him the perfect person to help Elizabeth cope and maybe find some kind of companionship too.
