Mungo!

-calm down.

Jerry!

-slow your role there.

You've published another chapterrrrrI SAID CALM DOWN!

Ah, sorry. Just got excited.

-pardon the idiot. He's... an idiot.

Hey, don't talk about me, when you ARE me, whilst in MY face.

-shut up and review, dammit.

Rude bugger...

On with Ze review:

That journey to Manus' arena was so awesome. I especially loved your way of making Sif communicate, the thought of her sniffing about and nomming that sword of hers is just too adorable!

Ciaran's POV was well thought out. You kept up that calm, collected persona we know her for and you weren't shy to experiment with the way in which she deals with situations.

Myssa's description was just perfect. You always wonder what would happen if the Chosen Undead were to be infected by the Abyss like Artorias and Manus so this shone some light into that unexplored topic. Nice job using the Lifedrain to overwhelm her and mutate her, you spelled the consequences of that pretty well.

My personal opinion of becoming like Manus was that if you crushed and absorbed his soul, you'd most likely start the cycle of Primaeval Man again. Due to his soul being a tainted sprite of humanity, I assume that taking that into one's body would lead to the mutations, Abyssal corruption and so forth. So, thanks for having a similar thought process to my own. You've no idea how you've inspired me to finish the current chapter I'm writing.

lastly, Chester. Just... Chester. I really do like the chemistry he and Ciaran had in the beginning, this shared rivalry of theirs. I'm curious to see what he'll do and what a duel between him and the Lords' Blade would be like.

Also, I haven't mentioned this before but I really like the introduction you give before the start of each chapter. Makes it feel like an "ORIGINAL MungoJerry production".

Hey this is pretty good

That... was bloody amazing...

What exactly do you think you're doing? Dragging me into a story, clamping vices onto the corners of my rapidly beating heart as your words revive me over and over again into suspense?! I love every minute of it, you beautiful orchestrator of writing!

I must also thank you. You made me remember the importance of an undead that has been able to defy the inevitability of hollowing. This helps me a lot.

I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between Gough and Ciaran, it's really refreshing when we get to imagine what the Elite Knight's of Gwyn think about and so forth. Also, Chester's still here and Dusk has been rescued, YAY! The interaction between Manus and the Chosen Undead was also really interesting to read about.

The excitement in me just won't stop bubbling up when I think about the next chapter you'll soon post. Thank you for something so captivating.

Oh man, this is getting good. My story-sense is tingling, here! Another awesome chapter.

I'm curious about how exactly the Chosen Undead was able to take on the visage of the Abyss without slaying Manus yet. I also liked how you included Chester by making him pair up with Ciaran, those two make dysfunctional pair.

Thank you again for such delightful content, I admire your way of writing too. It feels like I'm stepping into sacred land when I read your work.

Any who, keep going and have a great day!

excellent work, I loved the detail given that just enlivens the whole atmosphere of the story, as well as the musings of Chester(awesome costume, terrible person).

Ciaran's attempted rescue was also pretty nostalgic. The game doesn't do justice to how much she truly loves him(if keeping her lover's soul isn't romantic enough, in a Dark Souls kind of way), so I'm grateful writer's like you make a great effort to reinforce that fact and help the poor lass out.

thank you for a lovely story, you're awesome.
