I kind of hate but also kind of love how dysfunctional they all are, lol. All these grown ass adults still making the same mistakes and storming out in the same ways they did back in high school – with all the love triangles and re-shuffling of relationships within a friend group that are such a staple of teen dramas. It's so frustrating but also highly entertaining.
But yeah, if you're in your mid-thirties and taking relationship advice from literal teenagers, you should have a good hard look at yourself (looking at you, Dawson and Audrey).
Another good one, Frank! Speak soon!

“Hello has worked for people in years past, or so I’m told”
“Okay. What after that?”
“You’re a script writer and you need me to tell you? Have some pride, man!”

LOL, Dawson and Pacey! This little snippet had me rolling, so good! I love that childhood friend vibe with adult characters, it's so good.

Still here Frank, slowly catching up with your updates! Hope you're doing good :)

I loved this turn and how interesting you’ve made Paige

Ahhhh, I'm so relieved Pacey and Joey are getting over the past. That was a ow blow on her part, cheating on him with Dawson. Freaking Dawson :P
Anyway, the kids parts were very funny. I like how lighthearted this is, I can totally picture in my head the show that this script would make, with the cheesy cuts over the voiceover and the slightly extra tone. It'd be super fun to watch! Well done here :)

Awww Amy and Ash 3
Honestly, I don't have much to say about this chapter (in a good way). It was very sweet, and very funny – especially Paige, I laughed at every line of hers!
And the ending was adorable.

Solid follow up! I like how you're unfolding Pacey and Joey's drama. I immediately thought of Dawson when she mentioned a skeleton and when she wouldn't speak in therapy, but then you threw me off with the savings confession and I admit that I bought it, and then freaking Dawson came up! I KNEW IT!
Amy's plot was also really cute, classic high school movie story but you made it really sweet. Excited to see if you follow up on the hints of people at school potentially freaking out when they see it. North Carolina is definitely not the most liberal of places, so I could totally see this short movie not exactly going down well.
The only part of this episode I wasn't a fan of was the scene with Allie and Joey. If I were Allie I wouldn't have been so chilled after Joey literally attacked her. You always have people being very forgiving of each other, which is nice, but not always too realistic to me. But, it was such a small scene that it was easily overlooked.
The way you described Pacey's love and fondness for Joey brought me right back to the days of my childhood crush on him, so very well done there :)

Oh wow, it's been a hot minute since I've watched any Dawson's Creek, but boy, this show was my childhood. I'm so excited you're writing this! Starting with Amy at the beginning of High School feels like the perfect choice, and it's so nice to see so many familiar faces still around Capeside!
As for the voiceover narration, I personally really like it, it adds a bit of humour to the story. I found it a bit confusing when you started switching narrators, maybe personally I would have gone with just Amy as a narrator, but by the end of the chapter I'd gotten used to the style and all is well.
I'll definitely check out the rest!
