for Shoulder of Comfort

I regret not coming back sooner.
Politics troublesome both in game and real life.
Why stick with a warrior just point the way and we charge.

Good. Interesting and different. I would implore you to continue with the series, as it has great potential. For this chapter, I liked how you integrated more realistic problems and politics, such as raising money and resources from nobles for war and other campaigns. World of Warcraft can feel very epic and mythical, with every hero as good as they come and every villain a threat to the world. However, these are still real people with complicated problems and issues. Raising money is an actual part of any military or national action, and this makes the world seem more relatable and real.

Well done for this chapter. I liked it a lot. the way you handled the interactions with the nobles is something we do not see enough in the books as well as in game.

Response to your in chapter comment:
The unfortunate thing about Anduin's character is that he has little character growth during these times. The creative side of me would totally have him more lean into the toughness of his father's likeness because he has had a pillar of support instead of relying on his own ideals. In terms of how the story of how either faction deals with the Legion is not really much to gleam from. Both sides sends champions and Dadghar leads them to victory...that's roughly it. Battle for Azeroth is the meat and potatoes in which "fixing" the mess that it was could be something to explore.

Title next to names are to be capitalized. King Wrynn, General Feathermoon, ect.

I will be watching and reading with great interest. I would love to see this evolve into BFA as potentially seeing how the horde may react to a NE queen. I am more interested in their growth when the burning of Teldrassil. Will a more focused Anduin be the NE's pillar of support during those trying times? That would be interesting to see the dynamic during BFA. the way I see it.

Shandris supports Anduin during Legion.
Anduin supports Shandris during BFA.

The potential to see how the story shifts if Shandris becoming queen would be super interesting to witness.

You can add Romance as well because there will be future romance between Anduin and Shandris love couple plus finding picture for Anduin and Shandris love couple which there are artist on Deviantart though DGRFA Destiny's Gateway Romance Fanfiction Archive or Ao3 are much better websites should you make your story into M-rated story because this website is a mere shadow of it former self and admins are hellbent on making this website undesireble for making stories always blocking and messing up this website ugh what a bunch of bonkers

I watched the Alliance version of the Broken Shore aftermath, and I can officially say that Jaina is considered a coward and a bitch. She was a coward because she is still upset with the Mana Bomb incident during Mists of Pandaria and refused to fight against the Burning Legion again, only sending Kirin Tor support to the Eastern Kingdoms because her hatred against the Horde.

She then became a bitch because all she did during the war was belittle others, especially Anduin since he just lost his father. Also, she even criticized Council of Sixes of the decision to bring the Horde back into the Kirin Tor, which led her to deserting both the Kirin Tor and the Alliance in the war against the Burning Legion

All and all, what she did is committing an act of desertion, which is considered a criminal act. The only reason why she isn't wanted for treason is because in the Battle for Azeroth expansion, she went back to the Alliance to fight the Horde, which stems from her hatred against them.

For what both Shandris and Anduin did, the former joined the Unseen Path, battled some Naga and helped defeat a Kirin Tor prison break. The latter, on the other hand, went through closure through the usage of a compass and a letter, as well as traveling to the Broken Shore to witness a vision of his father and find Shalamayne, his father's sword. Which includes the fact that the two characters did nothing together during the war. As for names, I have no idea since I am not an author.

So, as for what Anduin and Shandris were up to during Legion, Anduin allowed Demon Hunters (traitors to the Kaldorei, followers of Illidan) back into the Alliance, which Tyrande and Malfurion were uncomfortable with but saw the necessity. Mathias Shaw got replaced by a dreadlord for a bit too. Then later on, players find Varian's compass which sends Anduin to the Broken Shore, finds Varian's ashes and recovers his swords, there's a nice cinematic for that.

Shandris joins the Unseen Path, the Hunter class order hall. Essentially a secretive Nights Watch from GoT. "We are the watchers in the wild" and so on.

Looking forward to reading more!

I like this. Has some good potential.
As for a name, hmmmm. A Friend’s Shoulder? Shoulder of Comfort?
As for what the two did, Shandris was only seen doing stuff in the Hunter Order Hall, i think, and Anduin didnt really do much beside getting that cinematic with the ghost of Varian.
