Soon as Blackwall addressed the troops I lost it. The gravity in which he dealt the situation was too much for me to hold a straight face. Too funny.

Dorian could cause a scene in an empty room. Didn't Josie say something like that? Wise words.

Another steamy chapter just teasing what's to come! Each one you write is so dynamic, whether they're just flirting in Haven, fighting baddies, spending a quiet moment together, or examining an enchanted ring.

These Seth POVs are always interestingly written, too. It's like he slowly becomes defined as a person/character more by the interaction that characters have with him than the other way around, even when it's his POV. Like he's defined by reaction more than action. If that makes sense.

It's honestly really well done. Many writers on here enjoy putting a *lot* of personal flare in their Inquisitor, and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it can sometimes get in the way and muddy the plot and characters. Stray from what would reasonably be considered canon. But I don't see that with your Seth POV chapters. I mean aside from a ton of research you probably did on Dalish elves and their history, customs, culture, and language. But that's not really personal flare is it. And it sure doesn't stray.

Great work! I'll keep reading/reviewing.

That's pretty good. I like it. I am an aspiring author myself so would you mind reading mine?

Emergency fluff! How kind of you!

Ah, the ex. Let the jousting commence! When Athren dared to trace where Seth shaved his hair, I was just *waiting* for Dorian to mark his territory again. When you actually wrote it in, I laughed like I was in on it. Like we both just knew he wouldn't escalate per se, but would definitely retaliate in kind and at least make it clear.

Lord, this reminds me of reading that...I want to say codex entry?...that said Solas's last artwork in the rotunda animated into a demon straight out of the paint. After he had already fled, of course.

Haha oh, you know, that one time he flung them both off the top of a floating rock island during the final battle. Always like any appearances from Morrigan, especially her shapeshifting and how every single time it happens Dorian gets sooo envious.

After discovering the little library alcove, I had hoped reading whatever books were there would open up a side quest or two. It just seemed like too interesting a place to encounter without discovering something from it.

I absolutely *live* for Bull's off the cuff sarcasm. He and Dorian just sling it back at each other in a way that's more...affectionate?...than Vivienne's or Solas's sarcasm banter. Ah, Jesus. Of course Bull mentions he was next door. Qunari and Antivans (or maybe just Zevran) are very comfortable oversharing about...shall we say intimate details best not mentioned in polite company. Or at all. But damn if I do love those moments, like Cole reading Bull's relationship w/ the Inquisitor if romanced.

As always, Cole has the answer you seek, Dorian. Well. Half the answer, anyway. The clan will have to wait forever. Seth deserves to be selfish with this ONE thing.

I almost forgot about Candy! Er...Marguerite! That was such a cute dialogue thread.

These brief little secret moments are so delightful to have. I'll never tire of them.

That damnable Antivan rug. Toss it on the fire and be done with it - that's what I say.

Ah yes, civilization is the largest invasive species to date, yet still you bring a little warmth to the scene.

Wallpaper. A mystery for the ages, along with angrily spouting ancient Tevene. Cue Sera’s maniacal laughter.

What an adorable scene with their “moving-in” chapter. I appreciate the special attention to detail about the greenery, both outside in the wilds and inside the chateau. The “not a magister” made me laugh and reminded me of a character from this funny tv series called The Good Place.

Is there something more? If Dorian is worried then so am I. Great chapter as always ;D

And here I was worried I won't hear any new stories about my favourite pair from my favourite author! Great chapter and thank you for this :D

Hot damn, you did it again.

I am all in, no matter how short or long this is, or how frequently or sparsely this is updated. No plans, no stress. Love it.

Yes! I remember this little alcove and wondering what secrets it might hold. Nice touch that Seth says Solas knows nothing about this place. And even though we didn't know the hairless hobo's involvement at the time, maybe Seth is still right. Hasn't Skyhold been built up and razed in a few different iterations before it became what we know today? Hm.

This would be close to heaven for Dorian. You know him so well.
