for Before Meteor: Epilogue

Oooooooh, things start getting interesting here! How is it that an epilogue leaves more questions than it solves? I don't know, but it's still great.
I really have no idea who the good guys in this story are. I mean, there are a few innocent creatures that are being used by everybeast else, but they're few and far between. Does this story *have* good guys?
Anyway, this has been a wonderful read! Thanks for sharing and God bless!

These are the type of stories I love to read. I hope I can see your work in NovelStar. There are also a lot of talented writers in that platform. You may check their group on Facebook.

This is the end of the intriguing Before Meteor!

I am happy to say that I have thoroughly and genuinely enjoyed reading this fanfiction. The plot is simple and slow, but that has made it easier for me to make sense of everything plot-wise and learn about the characters more concretely and at my own pace. I will say that this fic as a whole has a lot of untapped potential, just lying underneath the surface waiting to be harnessed and used. It's like a reservoir of energy of some kind, kept locked until the right moment to be opened and made to perform miracles. That being said, this was a truly inspiring and captivating fic to read. I understand your reasons for cutting it short. It was out of necessity and not of spite. Well done indeed. Before Meteor shows shades of your potential and firmly establishes your style and capabilities as a writer. You've done more than impressive work. Now, on to the narratives!

All of the political stuff goes over my head. With the death of Lord Holmger of Helskerland, there is a vacuum of power that might not be filled easily. Of course, Kiormund is in the potential running as the next in line. But it definitely doesn't sound like he will take the nomination lightly, if at all. Whether the other rulers honestly want him on the Helskerland throne or just plan to use him for their own selfish ends remains to be seen. Nevertheless, when it finally does go down, it should make for some very interesting political drama! And it'll lend itself to a slew of challenges that will really spur Kiormund's character development, too!

The appearance of Martin the Warrior is unexpected, and I mean that in a positive way. I don't know if you plan for Martin to play some central part in the future - perhaps he will make some contributions, now that Graha, a vixen, is a full-fledged member of the Order of Redwall - but I'm more than certain you'll create something memorable! It's Martin, right? He wouldn't show up if it wasn't important! His interactions with Hirsent and her ambiguity about her future actions cause me to question where her true loyalties lie, and the exact alignment of her moral compass. So far, I've seen her as a devoted ally to Lorelei and a wide-eyed student of Isangrim. Now I'm beginning to wonder precisely where she stands as a character. And sometimes, doubts are good! She's set up now for a sort of subversion of expectations for her character. Whatever you plan for Hirsent, make it meaningful!

Graha's induction into the Order of the Redwall is a welcome bit of humor in a fic that has been somewhat lacking in such. She gets a bit carried away with it, but that's the whole core of her character. She seems like a perfectionist. She wants everything to be flawless. Deep down, she wants to impress everyone, especially the great Father Abbot Cuthburt himself! She'll do whatever is necessary to get in everyone's good graces; not to an obsequious degree or out of some self-serving sycophantic desire, but out of a genuine desire to do good work. She's an excellent highlight of Kiormund's best traits as well, even if those traits don't always come through in the most concrete way. Now that she's a part of Redwall, Graha's going to go a very long way.

What a wonderful fanfic this was! I look forward to reading the sequel!

Way, Way, Way... I think we need to talk. The *epilogue* is not meant to be the most interesting part of the story. Gosh. Having said that, love this, once again because I have some sort of idea of where this is all going, but at the same time less of an idea. Remakes are fun!

Loved the new Southwarders. Less of them running around, so they're easier to keep track of, and they're also much more memorable, grace a la thoughts of Lamont. We have the completely incompetent Southwarder King, the equally incompetent Southwarder Princess, Suspicious Daghild, and the hedgehog general- *are scars proof of experience though? Or are they more like... proof of incompetence?* Also, lol, if Erlend tried to throw out Lorelei the second her dad died she'd probably kill him. Talk about a loveless marriage (granted this is Lamont's POV so what does he know?)

Loved the scene in the dreamscape. The Taggerung's return shall lead to war and Urza did something with her charge. Spooky, mysterious, mage vibes.

Hurrah for Graha! This universe's first fox Sister. Go her. Sorry Graha, you're great, but Hirsent stole all your thunder. She knows Martin from a past life? She knows another universe's version of Martin the Warrior? She's the reincarnation of Cluny the Scourge? What is Martin doing here? Is this your attempt at building hype? Destroying Redwall canon? What's going on here!?

Spooky, mysterious mage vibes intensifies.
