This story is really very good. Can’t wait to see the picture plot evolving. You are depecting Geralt and Triss perfectly!

Lmfao, thst last line.
It does tell me one thing though, that Triss is not a girl that even though the world is ending, will fix her makeup.
6/23 c5 J915WinterKing
Lmao
Triss is really confident in the intolerance of socially constructive environments that Geralt has.

Oh no...
She put a spell on the cloak.
He might have something to say about that, eh.

"As long as you don't touch, he's not one to share."
Damn, I wish I could write stuff this good.
You do so well! It's so beautifully detailed!
I'm jealous...

Yeah, another chapter of a good story!
Your story made my Sunday a bit sweeter.
It's very interesting to read the meeting of the Hands and to guess what will happen. Are two of them only displaying bravado and are coolly calculation people behind the fa?ade? We'll see. So we have an organisation which attracts humans and non-humans, mages, people highly specialised in certain areas ... to what aim? And what are the aims of the people working for that organisation?
This alone would make the story worth-while reading for me.
But there is still a lot more, Triss playing the men at court :), all the connections and sympathies and antipathies between the groups and fractions at court. I'm half awaiting that something will go terribly wrong because two groups fight each other instead of helping with the solution of the problem. (yeah, that's for some of the last chapters together, I know)

There are two little things that caught my eye while reading.
It's "eau de witcher" the - "e" in the beginning is important to form the word "water".
And somewhere something is "gold gilded" - "gilded" alone is sufficient. :)

Thanks a lot for this very interesting chapter

Great chapter as always. One small thing before I start the review is that there is a missing page break between Triss dealing with the two sorcerers in the palace and it switching back to Geralt's perspective.

Speaking of the two sorcerers, I really like the mention of Triss' age and how that may have been perceived by other magic users. I don't believe we ever really got to see this in either the books or games, but it is definitely something worth bringing up. Even if she were in the Lodge, I doubt many other magic users who were probably 5 times her age thought very highly of her. After all, she can be a little pushy at times.

Everything about Geralt's battle with the Blackhand agent was incredibly done. Translating action into text is something I think a lot of writers are uncomfortable with and will often skimp out on details as a result. But you list all the emotion, weight, and well... action of the action so perfectly. Geralt is a master swordsman and as such these battles are going to be short, yet you still managed to fit in so much incredible detail. Detail that goes a long way in painting the scene in the reader's mind.

Thanks so much for updating so quickly, I know you must spend a lot of time on these chapters and I greatly appreciate the effort. Looking forward to the next one.

I know I already said this before, but it bears repeating again: your use of quotes to introduce the chapter is incredibly well done. That was, without exaggeration, my favorite part of reading through the Witcher books as I love when authors take the time to make their world feel real. Real worlds have literature that they rely on just as we do in ours. As for the quotes that you make up yourself, well honestly if given a quote from the book and one from this story I would have trouble distinguishing which is which; that's how good they are.

Blackhand's response to Geralt tracking him despite all the terrible conditions is so great. Something that is not very well touched on in either the books or games is a perspective who has never seen a Witcher work. They are superhuman but we never get to really feel that because there is no "normal" people there to contextualize why what they are doing is so spectacular. So yeah, absolutely loved those details.

Your characterization of Tancred is also so so good. I know we get the briefest of mentions of Kovir in both books and games, but you could always get the sense that the kingdom must have had a strong king.

Final thing I wanted to talk about was how Beorn talked about out how people in Pont Vantis would not be whipped into a fury quite so easily. These little details about different regions in the world just warm my soul. It is so good to read about someone who writes not just about their story, but the world of their story as well.

I'm so glad I found this story and I really cannot wait to read more. Take all the time you need as you write, it is well worth the wait.

You have an excellent writing style and I love the world building you do. Kovir is being fully imagined in your story despite barely being a footnote in either the games or books. You even go so far to create "fake" literature just as Sapkowski does at the beginning of his chapters. Absolutely love that detail.

I am beyond thrilled to have found the story and I am really looking forward to where this will go.

I love how you write Geralt and Triss interacting. It is cute but still feeling like an established relationship. I can’t wait for more!

Such an amazing story. Love everything about it! Your writing style is beyond perfect (at least for me) and all these details you put into it really amazes me. And i can't wait for more chapters :)

I accidentally got sucked into this story without realizing it was not finished. I’ve been hurt before. I like your style and how you set up future events. I relay hope you see this story all the way to the end.

I have to say, I'm very intrigued by the story! Seeing Geralt and Triss as a team is great. And I'm curious about who's behind all the murders!
