This is another fantastic chapter! I didn’t even think of the moon landing. You definitely got a chuckle out of me at the thought of John referring to the moon as the Great Sky Pancake. Poor John had a deficiency of brain cells, but he did have his smarter moments. Mainly, he wanted Jack to do good for himself, which it appears he has done here.

Okay, I’m a history major and I am just so damn impressed with this. I love Jack’s perspective, as both a witness to various events, therefore referring to his own experiences as primary source material, and the way he treats it from a historical viewpoint. I could seriously read chapters and chapters of this. He’s basically stirring the pot, which is what historians are there for. Bravo! This is a masterpiece to far!

Very interesting story! I’m definitely into the premise and want to see more, if you have plans for more.
I’ve been playing Red Dead 2 a bit more recently and I had a shower thought that Jack, unless disease, violence, or accident take him early, would live well into the 1980s, or even the 1990s if he was particularly venerable. That’s a lot of years and whole lot of change we would experience in the world around him. Having him reflect on the events of both games long after they happen is a tantalizing idea!
I also sometimes think about what the states and territories of Red Dead would look like in the modern day and am already interested with your brief mentions of that.
