I'm going into this one blind and afraid. What's that brain of yours cooking up for us this time?

I'm going to have to disagree on this with you nuuo. A wendigo makes more sense in a snowy environment including in the mountains. But a vampire? Since when has Dracula or any vampire for that matter fit into snowy environments? (Don't you dare mention the Twilight series!) Unless you were just joking?

Also, Flagg. Did Kristen come back to life after Jeff strangled her? Because from my knowledge of Wendigos (mostly what I learned from Until Dawn), humans don't become Wendigos unless they commit cannibalism (which Jeff did). I've never heard of a Wendigo's touch before so that must be something left out from that game or it's mentioned somewhere. But I don't think someone can come back to life and be a Wendigo. Usually when they're dead then they stay dead unless this is something else I don't know.

Great story regardless!

Last part of chapter two was a bit cheesy. Think it's better when you don't tell us the name of the monster. Couldn't have been cheesier if Jeff turned into a Dracula and the strange beast in the woods was Dracula.

Dude, this is like something straight out of Tales from the Crypt or Stephen King. What else do you have in mind? This stuff is great and hope to read more. - THXXX11138

It may be fifteen after midnight for me, but it doesn't matter.

This is pretty awesome.

"What's wrong with me mama?"

"Nothing baby, you're just ugly."

I like the horror genre, butI admit that at first I picked this story because I thought this would have been a quick read. And because original context is not common on this site.

While the story itself is short, the reading felt more potent than I expected. For what it's worth coming from me, I found the suspence building well done.

I feel a little of Stephen King in the story. Maybe some Lovecraft too. Mainly due to the contemporary setting and the little context offered without any explanation or reason.

Is this a oneshot or is it part of a bigger work? I'd gladly read more in both cases.
