The Russo-Japanese War started... Nicholas II will really take a big loss from this. I think it's ironic how he used to be known as "Nicholas the Pacific".

And yet Alexei did end up having Hemophilia...

I did not know that the Kaiser influenced Nicholas II to start conflicts for land with the Japanese Empire! This information was a surprise!

Great update as always!

This chapter really made me think. The "bad man" that terrorized Maria and Anastasia must have been some supernatural projection of Rasputin (or some spiritual vision). Given that Rasputin was kind of shady and that this is an Anastasia fanfiction, I believe that this is the case.

Again, this long and detailed chapter was a treat to read!

Nice foreshadowing for the ultimate fate of Nicholas II and his wife. This was a nice, juicy chapter full of fluffy family moments. Really enjoyed it.

Overall, this chapter was a good one. The characterization (especially Gleb's) and world-building are solid on this one too. Also, do not worry about the the autistic behaviors of Gleb, they are realistic enough in my opinion. As someone who was autistic in their childhood, I can actually relate to Gleb a little bit.

P.S: I wonder if Evigenia will make an appearance as a revolutionary in a future chapter. I wonder if she married any of the Romanov executioners or people who had a role in the affair...

I like what you've been doing with this; your attention to historical detail is quite commendable. By all means please continue.

Really liked the appearances of the extended royal family, and I also got some of the family feels. I think that the characterization of young OTMA is realistic, they are still children at this point in the story.

Looking forward to the next chapter. I'm wondering what the revolutionaries think of the royal children in general.

Reading this chapter, I was reminded of the picture of one of OTMA's Christmases in their childhood. It really brings the family feels! The reference to Japan really caught my eye, perhaps the Russo-Japanese War will get a chapter in this story. Wondering if the boxer Rebellion of 1900 will get a place in the story too.

Looks like Tatiana is going to be the closest to her mother out of all of her siblings. I enjoyed the OTMA fluff! Anyways, there are gaps in the recorded information about the last Romanovs, so that's why it's perfectly fine to take some creative liberties. As usual, the research is well done!

I did not know that Alexandra had a miscarriage, despite the higher possibility from having multiple children. If it is a creative liberty, then it's still okay. It really deepens the drama and the mystical aspect of the story. Anyways, it is good to see that Alexei will come soon!

Imagine how Nicholas and Alexandra must have felt when they finally had a son. It is sad that he had the bleeding disease, including the fact that Anastasia actually carried the type B hemophilia gene!

Despite the efforts of Alexander III to make Nicholas a very orthodox and firm ruler, Nicholas ended up as a relatively ineffective ruler. Even today, most Russians consider him a weak ruler, based on an article I read (I forgot the title).

If the Romanov dynasty had a chance, it would be in a more decisive and sensible ruler. It was fear of change that ironically led to Russia changing against the Romanovs, and for the worst (an oppressive dictatorship no better than the autocracy). Honestly, I think that Olga would have made an excellent Tsarina, and that was how I got inspiration for my fic. The Fate of Holy Rus on the fictionpress website also inspired me as well!
