Oh god, such a sad story qq yet so interesting.

I adore this.

Also yes I'm on my old account while writing this review lol.

I love this so much, it's up there with Snowmelt.

You never, ever cease to amaze me with these little oneshots. This is such an excellent dissection of MOMO's thoughts on Albedo as she works through her trauma. I've often had the same questions about MOMO's relationship concerning Albedo. She's so sweet to him when she's seeing Jr. off at the end of 3 but I've always wondered if that was more for Jr. than for Albedo and if she had truly forgiven him for what he had done to her. I always believed that she had, but it definitely wouldn't have been easy. She's a saint, that MOMO. I don't think I would have been able to forgive him.

I also have similar thoughts about how the Kirschwassers themselves felt about Albedo. I adore that her sisters are the ones to help soften MOMO's ideas of Albedo. There's no one better, right? I don't even think Jr. could have done a better job. I think Jr. may still be working through forgiving Albedo himself. Though I suppose it would be easier for him than for MOMO. Or it should be, at least.

You've written her so beautifully and so perfectly. I often struggle with writing her and am jealous of just how much depth you were able to give her in such a short amount of time. I love that this also takes place at her shared home with Juli and the mention of how Albedo inadvertently brings them together. My absolutely favorite line of the whole thing:

"Except maybe it took a man's death to make her forgive him."

Such a powerful line.

MOMO struggling between pity and hatred and trying to find closure in all of it and the ability to forgive. She has so much strength for such a little thing. Thank you for reminding me of it.

Loved it, as usual. You could never fail me. I can't wait for the next one!
