for Miscellaneous Leagues Galore!

Very good. My suggestion is a league based on characters from the 2000s, and on one of their adventures clashes with an American government sponsored league.

Very interesting leagues. Some of the cases are familiar and I enjoy looking them up; it would be nice if you put up an annotations regarding the cases.

Would the Children's Fantasy League involve Jack Frost from "Rise of the Guardians"? Cause I'd be all for that.

Do a comedic one. Please :)

Another amazing chapter, yet sad as well, because its a "villains win" in most of their missions (most tragic might have been Mors League). True to be told, its surprising how Mabuse was smart enough to survive till his late nineties.

By the way, from where are the members of the Mors League? I have found info of most minus Detective Nobody in public domain heroes wiki.

As for the next league...I guess the children fantasy league. Wondering in which period will it occur

Top notch work here, keep it up. I too would cast my vote for a Children’s Fantasy League, so much potential in that alone. The Chronicles of Narnia, Through the Dragons Eye, The Tomorrow People, etc.

Wow, this was a real step up from your other chapters.

That's not to dismiss them or anything, but your use of language, story and tone here was an enormous improvement.

I thought you implemented the team dynamics really engagingly here. The rivalries between the League members were interesting and the way they interacted with each other, plus their brutality with their opponents (the moon assignment for instance) gave the story a suitably nastier tone. It fits in with Alan Moore's world very well in that regard haha.

You used the characters already in the League very well without needing too many other references which was a noteworthy touch. That made this a lot less list-like than other chapters and help you develop your own characters and story well. Honestly I didn't even recognise half of these characters (e.g. Mors' League and the WW1 femme fatales). I think you could've stretched to include some more fictional characters especially around the Nazi era just to make the world feel more populated, plus to give you a chance to incorporate some elements Moore would never do, but it still works totally well without them.

The way you weaved in Metropolis was very cool. Having it come in with the art deco movement was a great decision, and you genuinely surprised me by changing the ending of it (though it now fits in much better with the city as shown in The Roses of Berlin).

Overall a really really solid chapter. You've developed your writing a great deal.

Ah, an expressionistic block of text for us the readers. While I do applaud your efforts, I must point out that you left a "Hitler" in this installment and I'm sad that "M" didn't get acknowledged - it's one of my favorite of the old German films.

But, on the other hand, we got Count Orlock! And that is worth the price of admission alone.

As for my vote, well, I think since we should go with a "children's fantasy League" over a B-movie - I'm curious to see what you'd come up with.

I like the Disney League! The idea around it was pretty cool! :D

The Revolutionary League is pretty cool! From this league, I learned about Stormalong, a folk hero I did not know about. I am looking forward to the other leagues, you made in this story! :D

Interesting idea you have here for a Disney League. I must admit I did not see how this could work, but still with the ambiguity you have placed in here (what with the implication that this does not take place in our reality, but another) I think you have done a marvellous job. Keep it up.

This is the best chapter you've written of this so far.

The tone and style kept very consistent. You used language much better (none of that present tense nonsense haha) and overall told a more cohesive story.

I do have a particular interest in this era of popular culture so I thought you illustrated the bleak feeling of the times really well. This is the best you've used stakes and while generally you did your best job yet at coming up with missions, the Vigilante League section was a strong highlight. It was a duel as brutal as your big outer space battle from last chapter but kept in such a grounded and down-to-earth reality.

You did lapse back into at least one major flaw with the borderline deus ex machina ending to the New Orleans mission. The motivation for Blade killing Dr. Williams made sense but essentially it was still a 'destroy a central hub and all the henchmen are deactivated' sort of action sequence à la The Phantom Menace and The Avengers which I find a little lazy. But the rest of the missions work (though I did think you could've found a more significant black thought leader for the League to protect than Phillip Banks).

I'll have to check out your new edits to the previous chapter but this one by itself is very strong. Well done!

Amazing job with this :D

I got to wonder how would John Shaft fit in two leagues (Considering he is in one of the background portraits of the 70s league)

I loved the tie-ins with Marvel. Of the vigilante league I could only recognize The Punisher. Im guessing The Executioner is from Gotham, but I wouldnt be able to tell.

Im curious about The Twilight Heroes, is this another german team from the one presented by Moore, or are you expanding Mabuses League? Either way im hyped

I enjoyed the connection between Blackstein and Get Out. The two made too much sense not to be matched, but I think the BLL would be happy to know that the Armitage family got what they deserved.

This was a fun entry that, despite not using Luke Cage, still managed to do very well and was satisfying. Though I think you should recheck the "She was eventually in 1997." line; it feels incomplete.

Ah, the Twilight Heroes of Germany. This should be an interesting one given how only Mabuse got out of Metropolis alive if I'm not mistaken. I look forward to seeing how you tackle them.

Im really interested of this idea of a time traveling league

I guess Blaxplotation League for Black History Month would be fitting.

Question about Velma though, do you have any sort of rule with timeless characters? As in, characters who have been adapted to the present age in some incarnations? (Example, Mistery Inc. TV series in case of Scooby Doo gang, or stuff like that)
