Poor Beth.

I only vaguely remember Little Women, but I really enjoyed this! Death is such an interesting foil to drop into other fandoms to more concretely explore how characters feel about dying, and you've done some really interesting things here with their 'sudden intimacy' and her ambivalence; his sort of creepy yet weirdly supportive stalking since childhood; and how he's sort of abstractly kind in his way even though she doesn't actually *matter* to him (echoes of how he treats Empress Sophie in some productions?). And ending on the interaction with Jo, a real living person-perfect.

Wow, I think you did a wonderful job with this story. I never herd of the musical before reading your review, but I think I might look it up now. I love how you wrote Beth, who IS my favorite March. Good job.

Although Beth isn't my favourite March sister, she could only be the one to have a relationship with Death. I love Elisabeth the musical and I think this crossover works very well :P Well written, I like this story very much

It's sad that he's not a real boy, with real love, but I suppose that's in the way you look at it. A lovely piece, though; I really adore how you write Bethy.

Ohh...very creepy. And very sexy too...its telling that Beth is so comfortable with Death, as you mention she's known him her whole life. A real man could never got so close...and that makes me sad...thanks for this!
