I can picture each of them in my head as you have them "speak" about their feelings, thoughts and fears in the story. Ive only found this site, and its been a while since you wrote this, but I was wondering if you had anymore to go and if you are still around. I recently revisited the movie and thats how I found this site.

Curt and Brian are two very wounded people want to have a real relationship but they don't know how so they end up hurting each other again and again. Thank you for the update:)

Really Beautiful!

You have the 'complicated' relationship of these two so well. I love that you made me feel sorry for Brian; made me see the story from his perspective. It adds that extra layer and reason as to why the love and need one another.

I look forward to your next chapter!

Hello Ink Mind!

I'm not sure if you are still checking in to this site, but I just finished reading your chapters. I only recently saw the film, "Velvet Goldmine" for the first time. Needless to say, I can not get these 2 engaging characters out of my head. What a brilliant and complicated love story.

I'm still trying to figure out why I'm so drawn to Brian and Curt-especially Curt. Maybe because he looks so much like Kurt Cobain. I know that was not an intentional similarity, but it's there. Which is why I don't so much have a review for you, (who knows if you'll even read this!) as a question. I found Curt to be very much like a fair haired lost boy. Under his "I don't give a Fuck" attitude, I felt a much stronger vulnerability. He seemed to be so open to love, but, not very sophisticated in the workings of a relationship.

Brian was driven by a dream, his "inner demon", and like his intricate costumes, he approached relationships with a plan of sorts, where Curt just stage-dived into them. Which is why I have more empathy for Curt. Not to say that I don't like Brian, I do. He is a complicated character in his own right. I just found myself wishing he would have gone after Curt in the movie. Just as I wished Author would have at the very end. Curt was always walking away by himself with that sad smile.

My question is how do you see Curt? I sense from your writing that you see him as a bit tougher. What are your impressions of my observations. By the way, I really enjoyed your chapters. There was a lot of friction between Brain and Curt that I didn't necessarily see before.

Thanks for sharing your talents.

Cheers!
Sabrina D.

I hope these two can get themselves back on the right track. If Brian could trust himself and his feelings and stop playing shitty little games with Curt and Curt's feelings, I get the feeling they could make it work...

This chappie is hotter still. I just hope Brian's brain doesn't turn back on and have Brian pushing Curt away again. I'm not sure Curt can take much more of Brian's crap attitude

*fanning myself* Oh my...that is some pretty heavy UST!

Wow. That was one hell of an opening chapter. The tension, the fear, and danger Brian feels at having Curt back in his life...they all feel so real. Nicely done first chappie, now on to the next!

Once again, great job. I love so much of this. You are awesome. Love the two of them on the couch at the end. Love what you do with Curt and his cigarette - that might be my favorite bit - the part about Brian being able to read Curt's mood in how he smokes. Wish I had thought of that!

Wow, you are really an excellent writer. I absolutely love all of the back and forth between these two, the mixed, twisted up emotions, how again, you don't know what the hell is going to happen next. That is a great skill. I love the slow slow buildup to the kiss - fantastic. I generally write tons and tons of sex in very graphic detail, so I really admire how you have the two of them dance around.

Btw that part when Curt calls Brian up in the middle of his meeting and tells him to kick everyone out and that it will be worth his while was HOT!

I'm curious where you got the inspiration for this story? Was it a struggle? Did it take a long time, or did it sort of (so to speak) write itself?

WOW! That was AMAZING! I loved every minute of it! I love the twist and turns and how you never know what's coming - you never know what's happening next. Totally kept me on the edge of my seat, and I've only read chapter 1. I love this so much! Excellent job!

I absolutely LOVE your story! Your style and the way you portray the characters is perfectly in tune with the film while still working with your plot line. I honestly find myself re-reading it often, it hopes that I might've skimmed over a detail or that having it refreshed in my mind will increase my ability to wait for the next chapter. (Spoiler: It doesn't.)

On another note, your style is fantastic and I totally can't tell that English isn't your mother tongue because you write so beautifully. Thanks for writing an amazing story and I look forward to reading your next installment!

Oh dear, I'm so glad to see you continuing this story!

I liked the chapter; I think it was really important for them to take a step back and spend some time apart. It can give one person some... much needed perspective.

And the end was lovely! The boys without that bitterness with each other and simple enjoying the moment - quite adorable, and I'm really curious about what happens next ;)
