7/8 c68 Crazy Mage
Never thought I would see a story like this here but I am happy I did, after all Chobits is a series that is quite old now and to see a fic of this quality still being regularly updated is quite surprising.

I quite like how the focus is almost Slice of Life but sometimes something very impact full can happen that shakes things quite a bit, really liked how many characters are developing in a realistic fashion , from Junji gradually accepting the personhood of Minako to how Rika came to accept her feelings for Satoru. You have certainly created many engaging characters and I am happy to see how they develop (still the situation with Yumi was quite tragic).

Thank you for creating this story, will eagerly wait for you to continue it.
God bless

This chapter was great! Funny, moving, a little bit of drama, it had everything. Inspired indeed!

How many chapters long will this story be?

Why do so many Persocoms in this story have names that end with "ko"?

Aside from it being persocoms, this reminds me a lot of today's actual world politics (Albert defecting from his group and all)... and if someone gave me a disc containing "info about the security vulnerabilities in your network", I would wonder if the info was fake and designed to trick me into INTRODUCING a vulnerability... like when web sites pop up a message that says "If you are seeing this message, it means we have detected that you have SPYWARE running on your computer! You need to download and run our special spyware-remover-pro software NOW!" and the "spyware-remover-pro" is of course malware.

Damn, that conversation with Seung-woo, was heavy stuff! I could almost feel the tension in the air. I can't wait to see what happens and I'm so glad the story is continuing!

Ohoho. I waited, and now here it is.

1) I'm not sure how it went over my head the first time around, but now that I think about it, having to put up with those kinds of hecklers at a funeral would really suck.

2) Not sure why it popped up in my head, but the concept of an afterlife for persocoms got me thinking that they could just upload their consciousness to cloud storage or something. It wouldn't be a true afterlife seeing as then they could just be redownloaded into a new body at a later point, but given how expensive persocoms are established to be, it's not something just anyone can make use of either.

3) Once again, knowing how Ueda and Yumi played out in canon didn't really soften the gut punch. Thankfully Rika and Satoru never fail to lighten the mood.

Always waiting for the next one. Doesn't matter how slow you go, just so long as you don't stop partway through.

Now that I'm seeing it on the screen, written character profiles do look like they could be useful, both in reading a story (to remember who is who), and in writing one (to help keep characters from going, well, off-character). This reminds me: I have a question or 2: Had you decided beforehand what the characters would be like? Or are these profiles based solely on how the story had turned out so-far? Also, how extensive of an outline did you make before delving into the details? (just wondering since I neglected to do any of that on mine, resulting in difficulties)

I'm so happy this will continue. It's such a good series and it would be a damn shame to let it disappear into sands of time unfinished.

Oof. Can't believe I missed this one the first time around. So sorry about that, man - things have been crazy on my end for the past couple of years, and I've only just come back from that extended leave.

1) First I thought this was a light, fluffy chapter with no drama, and then came the mood whiplash. Well played.

2) So, we're finally at the trainwreck. It was already a gut punch in the series proper, but given how you really went out of your way to show how Ueda and Yumi's relationship played out the more appropriate term for this wham episode, the term 'gut punch' really doesn't cut it anymore, now does it? I'd even go so far as to say that your take on her death scene was even better on that end.

3) Are those news blurbs call-forwards to Rebellion?

Keep up the good work, man - now that I've gotten my groove back I'm looking forward to your next one, too.

So Tomoko is into anime? This wouldn't be a lead-in to a persocom writing a fanfic, would it?

One of the more memorable scenes from the anime, episode 19 (Chi Waits), that scene in the road in the rain with Yumi.

It gets difficult this far along, doesn't it? I'm starting to wonder, is this one of those stories that has the big final drama, or a "slice-of-life" ending...

I cried. My fucking eyes out.
You are still an amazing author! Don't worry about time lapses, we understand life gets in the way.
And thanks for the shoutout- It really helps! I'm working on the next chapter!

Two years... but we finally see it. A "mercy kill" I suppose it could be considered, but still unexpected so soon. Not sure if the next event will be portrayed only for emotion, or if there will be "social politicization" of the notion of having a funeral for a persocom. I guess only if it is a big event or attended by a "bigot". RIP Yumi, and "may your memory live on"...

D:
Where... Where is the rest?
It's amazing, as usual, but I need to know what happens with Rika, and Sansho, and... Everyone.
Are you continuing this?

Jesus Christ.
Trying not to fangirl here.
They got engaged!
*deep breath*
I'm trying not to let out my excited squeal.
I'm about to graduate too, like Junji just did.
I'm gonna let it out.
YESSSSSSSSSSS
THEY ARE
ENGAGED.
