Summer days had come and Link and Tracy were happier than ever. Sometimes she still had a hard time believing that he wanted to be with her but he never once made her feel he thought otherwise. He made her feel like she was the center of his universe, his entire world. When he smiled at her you could tell that it was genuine. Anything that Tracy ever imagined could nothing compared to being with Link was like. He was her best friend. He was her soul mate. He was everything she could have ever wanted. He made her smiled when she was sad. He made her laugh when she was down. He was the best thing that could have ever happened to were happy as they could be. Life was better than Tracy could have ever imagined.

Walking into the studio Tracy smiled at Noreen and Doreen who were sitting at their tables. Sitting down at her own mirror she started working on her make up. Ever since Ms Von Tussle had left things around the studio were so much more relaxed. The kids were definitely not on edge as much and Corny seemed so much happier. Slowly starting to put on her make up she smiled as a pair of arms wrapped around her neck, kissing her head. "Hi Link."

"Hey darling." He smiled resting against her. "How was your day?"

"You just seem me twenty minutes ago Link. You know how my day went." She laughed slightly. "But I can say it was good. I got to spend it with this really great guy. He made me laugh a lot. I think I might have a little bit of a crush on him."

Sitting down next to her he took her hands. "Oh really? Should I be jealous? Do I have to take care of this."

"Hmmmmm. Maybe you should be." She laughed a bit. "I mean he has the most beautiful eyes and when he smiles at me. It just melt my heart. I just can't explain it Link."

He pressed his finger to his lips. "Well then I guess I should meet this guy. I mean any guy that is trying to take my girl from me needs a talking to." He smiled as he leaned in kissing her. "Dinner when we are done here?"

"Well I don't know. I might have plans after this with that guy." She kissed him again. "But since you asked me first and you asked me so nicely with that kiss, yeah I think that we can do that." She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck deepening the kiss.

Slowly pulling her closer to him he moved his fingers into her hair. He groaned in the kiss pulling her up to meet him. He wrapped his arm around her rubbing her back as he continued the kiss.

"Earth to Link and Tracy. Hellooooooo. Hello you guys. Tracy... Link.. " Corny called out to the two of them as they completely ignored him. "LINK LARKIN. TRACY TURNBLAD." He yelled louder as she watched the two of them snap out of the kiss.

"I have been calling the two of you for five minutes. Jeez. I know that you guys are in love and stuff and it's cute but we have a lot of work to do before we go on the air."

"Sorry Corny, it won't happen again." Tracy spoke up as she wiped the lip stick from Link's lips.

Corny shook his head and laughed a bit. "Don't make promises you can't keep. Believe me I was your age once so I know how it feels but for right now. Let's get some work done."

They both nodded and watched him walk away.

"See you are already getting me in trouble." Tracy laughed as she smiled at him.

Link did his famous wink and smiled at her. "I didn't do anything. Your lips were just there asking to be kiss. I had to do it. It was calling me. What did you want me to do? Ignore it?"

Tracy shook her head at him and walked to the stage getting into position.

Rehearsal had finally started and they were getting into the swing of things. Inez was dancing with Link, Tracy was dancing with Brad. They had gone over the steps repeatedly making sure that everyone was comfortable with the steps. That was one thing that Corny always stressed. You didn't always have to be perfect. As long as you were having fun, you were doing your best and you were comfortable with your dance moves then that was all that he could ask for. He knew the kids knew what they were doing they just had to have confidence in themselves. And that was honestly his main concern.

Once they were done with rehearsal's it was almost time for the show to start. They were given a short break and then quickly ushered into change their wardrobe. Once he had all the kids together he looked at them. "Don't go anywhere after the show. I have an announcement. Nothing bad just something I have to let everyone know about." He looked at all of them.

"Wonder what's going on." Link said as he wrapped his arm around Tracy.

She shrugged her shoulders and leaned her head on his shoulder. "Who knows?" She said softly as they were told that they had ninety seconds until they would be on the air.

The show had started and the kids were having a great time. The integrated Corny Collins show was more popular than ever. Everyone wanted to watch it. The ratings were through the roof and ultra clutch sales were soaring. The kids were truly having a great time and the fans loved it. Link and Tracy got to share a dance together from a telegram. So did a few other. Amber was even back on the show and she seemed like she was honestly happy about being back. Gone were the days of her trying to get in the way of Link and Tracy. She just came to the show and did what she had to do. It made life so much easier on everyone. They finished up the show and gathered around Corny.

"I wanted to thank all of you for all the hard work and dedication to the show over the last couple of weeks. Everything is finally starting to come together and I am so proud of what we have accomplished. You kids go out there and give it your all every time you are out there. And I wanted to tell you thank you. Also I wanted to let everyone know that we are getting a new council member. I would like to introduce you to Bobby."

Walking over to the group a blonde haired, blue eyed boy smiled at them. His eyes focused on Tracy as his smile seemed like it was only directed towards her. "Hi. I'm Bobby. Nice to meet you all. Especially you Tracy. I am a huge fan." He spoke up his voice deep and crooning.
