Finally…...your attacks won't reap any benefit to you now Orange Hill.

The referee had just blown the final whistle…Tenryu prevailed once again over Orange Hill…

Kanou Kyousuke, I didn't let u win. With that one thought Kagame walked away from the pitch celebrating the victory of his team, but more than that….his own.

The coach of Tenryu high school team walked up to the captain bearing in his face nothing more than a face that did not signify their victory that night…it was more of a face that yearned for Kagame to understand what it really was to play the beautiful game, to make him see the game in different light….that strategies…..quick offences….solid defenses were no the only things that would work in the broader aspect of the game…..NO….

He just wanted Kagame to come out of his shell .The same shell would not help him in any other sphere other than Japanese High School tournaments.

"Coach…." The captain began checking his words.

"We are better than Orange Hill any day….How is it that these guys still manage

Goals against us….our defenses are impenetrable" he spoke in a hoarse voice.

"Your defenses are penetrable only when your hearts are….That is where they are better than you…Kyousuke and his team always believe that they can break the defense each and every time they get the ball even though they repeatedly fail again and again….They always continue to attack with the same if not better tenacity than their previous attack …..they don't play with shear chalked out textbook strategy…..they play in the way according to what their hearts are telling them to do at that given moment…their minds are in complete unison once all the eleven step on the first blade of grass on this pitch…..even when they know the odds are stacked against them they always fight and never quit….You of all people should know this Kagame….your narrow minded view of the game will get you no where." The coach settled it with his answer.

"I don't understand coach" was Kagame's reply.

"You will someday" and he left his star protégé with an enigmatic note.

You should for your own goodHe thought to himself as he left
