Agito let out a curse then swiftly jumped up to avoid a deadly strike that was supposed to have cut him in half. He looked at his back and snarled at his enemy.

It seems that whatever happens to their teammates they were not to let up on their prey, in this instance team Kogarasumaru.

Agito looked from left to right and saw another railing. He jumped to the other railing and kicked the air creating an air blade which swiftly headed towards his enemy. Unfortunately the bastard jumped high enough to miss the attack by a hair. His pursuer jumped on the thin railway where Agito was currently gliding on.

The eye-patched boy screamed an expletive at his enemy. He looked from left to right again, thinking of a way to get the bastard off his back.

Suddenly Agito saw a firestorm engulf his pursuer. He quickly looked at the other railing he had been on and saw Kazu giving him a thumbs-up. Agito, begrudgingly nodded at the blonde then quickly slashed the air sending it at the Flame King.

Kazu fumbled before ducking from the attack. Agito smirked and waited as Kazu's pursuer was hit by his attack. The blonde quickly looked at the knocked out enemy behind him then at Agito.

"You ungrateful jerk! You should have just warned me!" Kazu flailed his arms wildly while shouting at Agito.

The Fang king ignored the blonde and tried to look for their idiot of a leader. He could hear Bucha, Onigiri and Emily cheering for them on the side line. It was a 3 vs 3 match, now only one opponent was left. He looked back at the Fire king and waved him to jump over to where he was standing.

Kazu obliged and jumped over to the railing where Agito stood, he then turned his attention to the building across. Ikki's silhouette could be seen effortlessly dodging the attacks of his opponent. Kazu heard Agito sigh impatiently.

"The idiot's playing around." Agito crossed his arms and frowned. Kazu gave the smaller boy an uneasy smile before turning his attention to the fight again.

"I think there's something bothering him." Kazu said without turning away from the fight. Agito raised a brow, waiting from his teammate to continue. "Call it gut feeling or whatever, but these consecutive S—class matches we've been on for weeks doesn't look like it's nothing at all."

The smaller boy snorted and glared at ikki's figure. "I don't know what the hell his problem is but he better shape up or else I'll be the one to slice him into pieces before an enemy team does." Agito turned his back on Kazu and glided towards his fallen prey and grabbed the back of his opponent's collar.

"I'm going to return this excuse of a person to their base. There's really no point in Ikki's battle now. We officially won the match anyway because of these two losers." Agito raised his fallen opponent like a kitten showing his slightly charred face to Kazu.

"I guess you're right," Kazu heaved and picked up the other one of their fallen challenger. He slung the unconscious man's arm around his shoulder and followed Agito.

Sennette internally berated herself for the nth time.

She had stayed overtime at the café learning the sugar cookie recipe the manager had given her the other day. She had made 3 extra experimental batches which she happily placed in her school bag. With all the baking and experimentation of tastes and techniques she had foolishly forgotten the time and got carried away baking.

It was already a few minutes past 12 am.

She remembered one T.V show her grandmother watched avidly, where a student would be abducted from the dark streets and sold to the other countries, never to be seen by their loved ones again. The hairs on her arms stood at the thought so she picked up her pace.

She suddenly stopped when she heard peculiar sounds, like metal grating metal. Sweat dropped from her temple while her hands shook and slowly became cold and clammy. She gulped when she heard the noise steadily growing closer. She couldn't move from her position to hide somewhere or even make a mad dash toward home, which was only a few houses away from where she stood at the moment. Nooo, apparently her body decided that this was the time for her to be frozen and scared in the middle of an empty and dark street.

Fan-bloody-tastic.

When she felt a sudden blast of air from behind her, she let out a terrified shriek. Then the sounds came to a stop above her.

"What the hell are you doing here screaming like an idiot?"

Sennette's eyes suddenly flew open. She hadn't noticed that she had crouched, clutched her ears and shut her eyes as she screamed.

She slowly looked up then let out a relieved laugh. "A-akito…" Agito's brow lifted at the informal use of the name.

She screamed again when she saw the boy carrying a body, slung carelessly on his shoulder.

Agito let out an annoyed grunt while Sennette panicked and clutched the wires of the fence railings. Her hands were shaking again as she looked at Agito then at the body repeatedly.

When Agito let out a loud and frustrated sigh, she squeaked.

"What the fuck are you doing, idiot?"

"Hey you damn shark, you could've waited for me you piece of shit!"

Agito looked up at the direction of the frustrated shout and snorted.

Sennette's shaking suddenly stopped. When she was about to look back, Kazu jumped off the railing and landed in front of Agito. He readjusted the guy on his shoulders then glared at the shorter boy.

"You inconsiderate prick! I shouldn't have saved you earlier." Kazu glared.

Agito scoffed then dropped the person he was carrying. "Right, as if I needed your help."

Kazu's vein on his temple pulsed.

Sennette stared hard at Kazu, her eyes wide and her mind panicked as she saw the body Kazu was holding. "K-Kazu-san…!" Sennette cried out in a panicked state, her eyes wildly going back and forth the two boys then the two bodies flung on their shoulders.

Kazu, startled by the weak exclamation, whipped his head towards the voice. "Yashi-san? What are you doing here?"

Agito tsk'ed and started his way towards the warehouse at the end of the road.

"T-t-the bodies!" Sennette pointed a shaky finger at the body Kasu was carrying. He looked at her finger then at his luggage on his shoulder and laughed.

"Yashi-san, they're not dead you know. Just a bit beaten up, nothing too serious though." Sennette gave Kazu a skeptical look but stayed silent and waited for him to continue. "We had a…fight. You know, with Air Gears? That eye-patched dude is one of my teammates. We're just going to return these two losers to their headquarters."

Sennette nodded slowly and let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding. Kazu laughed again at the girl's pale face.

"S-so Wanijima-san wasn't carrying a dead body then?"

Kazu shook his head then stopped suddenly; he blinked at the girl and asked, "You know him?"

Sennette cocked her head to the side then nodded. "Well…yes. Wanijima-san and I take extra piano lessons after school."

"Oh, I see!" Kazu gently placed the unconscious man at the side while Sennette watched warily. It was weird seeing an unconscious body, more so, if said body was being carried by two people she knew, who by the way was way smaller—Agito—and thinner—Kazu—than the said bodies.

"Yeah, we didn't expect that from him. We didn't even know he could play, and from what I hear from Ikki, he's baddass with the piano too."

"Oh…well.." Sennette looked uncomfortably between the unconscious man laying at the side and Kazu who was grinning brightly at her.

"Oi, fire breath! Get that excuse of a human to their base already!" They heard Agito shout from the distance.

Kazu shrugged his shoulder then smiled at Sennette who smiled awkwardly back at him. "Well, gotta go. Be careful going home Yashi-san!"

Kazu heaved the unconscious man on his shoulder again then waved at Sennette before he hurried off to Agito's location.

She shook her head and dazedly continued her way towards home, all the while thinking, 'I really, really hope I'm not a witness to a possible murder.'

"Pay attention to your surroundings idiot." Sennette looked back and saw Agito walking towards her, his hands inside his pants pocket.

She stood there awkwardly looking down at the concrete embarrassed at being caught daydreaming. Agito walked past her and when he noticed that she wasn't moving he let out an annoyed huff.

"What the hell are you waiting for you dumbass? Come on already." Sennette seemed affronted with the name calling but thought better than to lash out. She curiously followed Agito's lead when the boy started walking again.

After a few minutes of heavy silence Agito suddenly stopped. Sennette looked puzzled at the boy who turned to face her. He jabbed out his thumb and pointed at the house to his right.

'Oh.'

Her house was directly beside them where Agito had pointed. Her face turned from surprised to grateful, which she directed at the boy in front of her. She bowed at Agito and thanked him softly, stuttering for a bit—which she received a snort (this peeved her a little).

When she opened the gate to her house she heard him mutter a quiet, "Don't wander around so late at night alone you idiot.", before he continued to walk up the road.

Sennette let out a small laugh while watching Agito's back disappear on the next corner of the street.
