"Here." Aivenna gives Rick a blue crystal. It's about the same size and thickness as a scanner. Rick has seen this devise before and knows what they can do but he has never used one. He can't remember what they are called though. "We can use these to communicate between one another." Aivenna explained, thinking that Rick wouldn't know what it is.

She and Rick were close to Maxxor's castle, in another back alley trying not to be seen. It was starting to get late and in another hour the sun will set. They would have been there earlier, but Aivenna had to go get something at the armory. Rick hadn't gone in with her, so he didn't know what she was getting. He just knew it was for the plan, the plan that Aivenna hasn't told him yet.

"How do you use it?" He asked, flipping the crystal around to see if there were any buttons. There weren't any.

"Just tap it three times, then select the other crystal you want to talk through." Aivenna explained.

Rick tapped it three times and then a list popped up on the crystal's surface. It was similar to cell phones having a list of contacts, but the list didn't show names. It was just a bunch of Overworld numbers.

"The crystal I have is this one." Aivenna said, selecting it to show Rick. The crystal in Aivenna's hand began to beep and Aivenna tapped it. Her face then appears on Rick's crystal. "To end the transmission, tap it twice."

Rick tapped the crystal and Aivenna's face disappeared from the crystal's surface.

"Think you can remember which number is mine?" Aivenna asked.

"Yeah, I can remember it." Rick said.

"Good. Now here's the plan. I need to go meet Intress, Najarin and Nivenna in Maxxor's castle and I think that's going to be the best time for you to scan Najarin."

"But I thought you said I couldn't go near Najarin cause he can sense me." Rick interrupted her.

"I'm getting to that. Since Chaotic players tend to break into Maxxor's castle, Najarin doesn't always notify the guards about them because they don't normally cause much trouble. So he may not find it odd if you're in the castle. I can get you into the castle, but we would have to split up right after we get inside. Since Najarin will also sense me in the castle, we can't be around each other or else Najarin could figure out I'm helping you sneak around. After we split up, I'll go find Najarin and when I know where he's at then I'll contact you and tell you where to go." As Aivenna explained, she began rummaging in her bag. "You'll then wait in hiding because Najarin will run past you and that's when you scan him."

"Why will Najarin run past me? And what are you trying to get out of that bag?" Rick asked.

"This is why Najarin will be running." Aivenna said, then pulled out a sonic charge.

"What're you doing with that!" Rick yelled, shocked that Aivenna would go this far to help him.

"It's your distraction." She put the device away. "Don't worry, it's not real. It's made to look and sound like a real sonic charge, but it won't cause any damage."

"Why make fake bombs?" Rick asked.

"For training of course."

"Okay, but this plan sounds risky. Won't they figure it out that it was you who set off the thing when they all come running towards you?"

"I won't be near the explosion. It has a timer function which I'll set for three minutes. By the time it goes off I should be with Intress."

"But what if-"

"Rick, I've already thought of all the possibilities of this plan going downhill. A lot of things can go wrong, but there isn't any other good way to scan Najarin without him noticing."

"Okay, fine. When do we go?"

"Now. Follow me." Aivenna walks away and Rick follows her to Maxxor's castle.

"You know, if it wasn't for the sky above our heads then this place would look just like an Underworld town." Rick said, as he follows Aivenna.

"Really." Aivenna says with dry sarcasm. She was offended the human would claim such a thing about Kiru City. The city is a symbol of the Overworld's greatness. Saying it was like an Underworld town would be considered an insult to any Overworlder.

But looking around the area, a part of Aivenna had to agree with Rick. Aivenna still did not want to be seen with the human, so she was using the pathways that few creatures walk through. The citizens of the city would not admit it, but the truth is there are places within the city's walls that do not live up to the city's reputation.

"Yup. It even smells like some Underworld places. I guess it must be coming from all this garbage laying around. Of course, garbage isn't what makes those Underworld towns smell so bad. The rotten egg smell comes from the sulfur dioxide that comes from the volcanoes near the towns." Rick says, either oblivious to Aivenna's unhappiness to the conversation, or he just didn't care.

"If it smells bad then why build towns there?"

"Not many places in the Underworld where there isn't a volcano nearby."

"The more I learn about the Underworld, the more I'm astonished that any creature would want to live there." Aivenna let out. She doesn't want to continue talking to the human but somehow the human is able to get a response out of her almost every time. She didn't mean to voice what she was thinking and yet she had said it.

"It's not so bad. If you ever go to Underworld City, I could show you some pretty awesome spots." Rick offered.

"Even if I did one day go to Underworld City, I would not want you as my guide there." After what he has put her through, she never wants to see him again.

"Then who would you want as your guide?"

Aivenna didn't answer. But in her mind, she thought of Nivenna showing her around Underworld City. Would it be like how Aivenna had shown Nivenna around Kiru City? What places would there be that Nivenna would want to bring her to? Aivenna knew some facts about Underworld City, but for the most part she knew nothing about what that city was actually like.

There must be restaurants in the city, though Aivenna didn't think Underworld food would agree with her stomach. From what she has observed of Nivenna, it's safe to say Nivenna spends quite a bit of time reading. So perhaps she would bring her to a library or book store? Aivenna herself isn't big into reading, but would Nivenna know that? Even if Nivenna did know that fact about her sister, she might not care about what her sister would like to do and just take to places she likes. It probably wouldn't be a good experience with all things considered.

"Can't think of anyone?" Rick spoke up. "Hey, you could ask your sister."

"That would be a terrible idea. She hates me as much as I hate her." Aivenna said, feeling as though she was lying to Rick and herself.

Notes: Guys! Have ya'll heard the news of Chaotic coming back! The creator of Chaotic, Bryan Gannon, has conformed it on Twitter. Please follow him and show support for Chaotic coming back. Chaotic is going to air again on TV but there won't be new episodes. Hopefully they will be able to make new episodes in the future but right now it seems they are testing the waters to see if a Chaotic revival is something people want. I don't know which channel the cartoon will air on though so keep a lookout for it. Also, a mobile game is being developed. If the cartoon gets good ratings and the mobile game is successful enough then they may release the Fire & Stone card set. Fire & Stone is finished so the only thing they have to worry about is printing and shipping costs.

This is the closest Chaotic has been to coming back. Please help support Chaotic in whatever way you can and spread the news. Remember this is only a testing phase so the only way for Chaotic to officially come back from the dead is if there is a large enough support for it.

Now that I've got that great news out of the way, I'll talk about this chapter. I don't know the name of the communication crystals but Maxxor and Intress used them in season 3, episode 12. I think the crystals were used in other episodes, but I can't remember another specific episode. I don't know how they worked, so I just mind it up.
