A.N: It's Epilogue time! If you are confused, you might want to the final chapter i posted last week. There is a lot I want to say, but I'll let Mary say a few words first….

I don't own GLTAS

Epilogue

(Song suggestion: "Together from Afar" by Jonsí)

This is video log 304 from MMJ x C

I know, of all the numbers I landed on, 304 is the number that gets chosen as my final log. But some things are just beyond our control, like how I wish this wasn't my last video entry. And you listeners are probably going to want to hear about what happened after Hal flew the Interceptor into the ultra warp. After all, that was eight years ago. The same year I thought it would be a good idea to keep track of our daily adventures.

A time where I thought I had all the time in the world. I at least got to tell you all of our Journey to the Frontier, And about the war against the Manhunters which, to be honest, was just a War of Emotions. I even told you guys of how my Green Lantern career Started, and how I join-correction- how I was part of the Justice League's covert team of young superheroes. I got so lost in the details telling you all those stories in these last eight years that now I'm eight years behind. Well, I at least got to end these videos with my favorite adventure. The one where the entire galaxy came together, Undivided.

You're probably asking why this is the last video log. I'll definitely tell you but it probably requires you to get tissues. So I'll save the happy tear jerkers for the end and instead start by giving a rapid-fire version of what happened these last eight years.

Well to the surprise of EVERYONE, The Red Lanterns remain allies. Atrocitus still has anger issues but Veon, Skallox, Bleez have taken the initiative to help him achieve righteous fury. With those guys doing the work, I'm surprised Zox is still the second in command. Maybe it's his massive ego the size of his big head. Even with all that, he has surprisingly become a good friend mine.

Speaking of friends, I'm proud to say Leida has become the leader of the Star Sapphires after Aga'Po's retirement. Bothe and Tai'le are her two second in commands. Galia has also become the Drill Sergeant of the Sapphires. She's a great protector of her people and an absolute role model to her two daughters. But there's no denying those two little girls get their gruff and toughness comes from their dad. Especially when they watch him train Frontier Lanterns.

))))))))))))))))) Zor Planet ((((((((((((((((

"What do you call that?! That's not a jump! Even Mungtors have better spring in their step. Get it together, recruit!"

A bipedal being with pink skin and wearing green lantern suite stepped back as he avoided a hammer about to pummel him. Trying to get his head into the fight, the Green Lantern shook his bulbous head and furrowed his brow in intense concentration. He charged forward towards his attacker with head lowered so that his horns could hit their target.

Strong arms grabbed his forearm before using his momentum to throw him far across the clearing he was in. He tumbled to the ground before coming to a stand still on his stomach. He grumbled and sat up to see large hand reach out to him. Even though he was in pain, he took it offer and stood up to face the one who helped.

Killowag had his hands behind his back as he stood straight to say, "Clever using your own body, Palaque, but you can do better. Any suggestions as to what he could have done in this situation, girls?"

To the left of the clearing, two Bullivaxion-Zor hybrid children were sitting on the tops of jellyfish creatures as they watched the training. One child waved her arms around, "Oh, oh! Engage, lock, throw!"

The other raised her hand and added, "He can do the same, but he has to keep his eyes up, or else he can't see the counter-attack coming."

Killowag beamed, "Both equally effective." Then he looked to Palaqua and yelled, "All right, Poozer. Let's go again!" Killowag created a hammer and swung.

"Go, daddy!" The girls yelled.

))))))))))))))) - (((((((((((((((((

Yep, my big ol' space uncle still keeping everyone in Frontier Space in check. Well not everyone. Larfleeze still remains the only Orange Lantern, so all that greed makes him leave Okara sometimes and 'take-back' what's 'his' from homes on other planets. Thankfully, the Indigo Tribe, mostly Monk, would step in and give their time to give Larfleeze some needed therapy. Indigo-1 would be busy recruiting those with already compassion in their heart. But she still wants to reform criminals, so she has given the task to Kreaven.

Kreaven rehabilitates them so that they can later choose to become one of the Indigo Tribe. If they chose to remain unchanged, like Drusa and Zartock, they'd remain on Mogo's surface. Sure that's what the giant did before, but now even prisoners were sent there and prisons themselves were shut down. Thank goodness because Goggan, that little cutie, was finally able to live out some well-deserved peace on a tropical island planet.

Though Sinestro seems to have found a little less peace over the years. Don't worry, he and Arin are still together on Kuragar, it's just that over time Felidae, Arbog, Kabo, and the whole Sinestro Corp have taken that little Soranik in like family. Sinestro has his hands full with his energetic daughter and a bunch of rowdy yellow lanterns.

At least he doesn't have to worry about Arkillo. The big guy is too busy living life with Saintwalker. Brother Hym and Warth have given me all the gossip when I go visit the Blue Lanterns. But as much as I love to pry, I enjoy my time more with Ganthet. We still talk by the cliffside with Strum Strum wrapped around us. The sunsets on Odym are beautiful, I can't imagine why Razer and Aya would want to live anywhere else.

But it made sense for those two lovebirds to make their home on Razer's home planet. It wasn't just because Razer was able to rebuild his planet and create peace in others. And it wasn't just because Aya was able to find others like her. Yes, the two accomplished so much, like helping androids find their new purpose and creating a place among B-0's Automaton city for them to find it. But the two finally settling down to start a family was personally the happiest I've been for them

)))))))))))))) Volkreig ((((((((((((((((

Aya flew over the deserts of the planet before she came across lush green fields. When she came to the edge of a small city of adobe homes, she landed in the middle of the square. Many Volkreigans were walking around with their families. Some even strolled alongside androids of all shapes and sizes. B-0 was talking with a Volkreig elder when he spotted Aya walking past and he waved hello. She waved back before heading over to a house at the end of the square.

She quickly bent down to sniff the blue and white flowers growing in bushes along the edge of the house's porch. Then Aya walked up the steps and opened the door to walk in. She was immediately greeted with a high pitched, "MAMA!" followed by a tackle hug from a small form. Aya giggled and brought the form into a tight hug before she kneeled down to put them down.

She looked into the deep blue eyes of a Volkreig toddler, his grey skin bare since he hadn't been given his mature black marks yet. Aya tossled his white hair before she fixed up his grey-brown tunic. "How are you, my darling Shyr?"

"Great! You beat bad guys?"

"I did," she finished before she kissed him on the forehead.

Shyr smiled before turning away to yell. "Papa! Mama's home!"

Aya looked up in time to see from around the corner of a hallway, Razer came walking out. He wore his regular civilian clothing in addition to his blue ring. Upon seeing Aya, his smile got bigger. As Aya smiled, her helmet and white Green Lantern armor disappeared to be replaced by a long-sleeved grey dress. Her white hair hung down but was almost completely covered by a scarf. As she stood up, she scooped Shyr into her arms. The little boy gave a squeal of delight.

Once Razer and Aya stood in front of each other, they shared a quick kiss before touching foreheads. Then they smiled at Shyr who smiled back before he joined them on touching foreheads with them.

))))))))))))))))))-((((((((((((((((

Does I, being little Shyr's godmother, make me bias? Maybe. At least that's what John Stewart says. It's a good thing we're cool or I'd smack him. One would think Guy Gardner would be the one to take a jab at me. He's still a big shot but training Milagro to be a Green Lantern has made him a bit more mature. Kyle and Simon simply congratulated me. It's so great to see those two become great friends. I'd find Kyle teaching Simon how to talk to Ion through their rings.

In fact, it's great to see all the Green Lantern Corp come together more and more every year. Ke'Hann, Ch'P, B'Shi, Salaack, Chaselon, and Larvox all check-in. Appa is still a pain but better to handle, and I'm thankful that Syad is making sure of that. Everyone across the galaxy remains in touch. Iollande and Ragnar are still mending their relationship. Laira and Sercy's friendship had actually created a significant alliance between their two planets. As for Arisia and Karu Sil, they're practically sisters now.

And just when you think it all stops there, Gill Broome and his Steampunk planet have decided to make contact with Earth. That way we could share innovations. And right on time. Yeah, you remember that story. When the Reach came and forced us Green Lanterns out only to mess up and have us come back and kick their butt thanks to my superhero friends. And don't even get me started with halting meta-trafficking thanks to them as well as the newly formed Outsiders.

While we're on the subject of Earth, I can tell you that The Circle is doing great! Sam started a band and they have a record selling album out already. Katrina's going to work at the chimp sanctuary in Tanzania next year. Rogen became the second assistant to the Justice League's public spokesperson. Clyde and Leo are studying business so they can run a store that exclusively sells prank merchandise that they create. Tommy works as an IT assistant at Ferris Air while Vivian jumps between beating up criminals with her Sapphire ring or getting her Masters in Biomedical engineering. And despite all that, it warms my heart to see Tommy and Vivian are still going strong. Reminds me of Hal and Carol.

Oh yeah, that's definitely an update you might want to hear and it leaves me crying to this day. NO! They are not dead. Carol spent the first five years as Earth's first Sapphire Hero before she began limiting her time as a hero to focus on expanding the Ferris Air business to go beyond Earth and truly live her life with Hal. As for Hal himself, it may come as a surprise that after so many years of serving the Corp, Hal finally retired recently. Oh, sure when there is a threat as big as the Anti-Monitor or Nekron then Hal will put the ring back on and go headfirst into battle. After all, he still has the heart of a hero. But otherwise, he has his reasons for stepping down.

))))))))))))))) Coast City, Earth ((((((((((((((((

"WAKE UP CALL!"

"AH!" I yelled as I sat up on my bed.

A little eight-year-old girl with brown pigtails and a six-year-old boy with a brown bowl cut were sitting on either side of me wearing footie PJ's. They laughed at my reaction and then quickly got off my bed. "Come on, Mary. Breakfast is ready." And in a flash, they were out of my room.

I gave a tired sigh but let a small smile creep up on my face. "I feel like this house makes the wake-up calls louder than that old apartment." I got out of my queen size bed and quickly put on my robe. When I walked out, I was in a spacious hallway with two rooms on either side. Then I came into a spacious dining room where the boy and girl sat eating eggs and bacon. I playfully tossed with their hair as I walked by and said, "Waking 26-year-olds must be a new hobby in this house."

"It's a gift," The girl said with a wink. The boy followed suit with his own wink.

I shook my head as I left the dining room and walked into a big kitchen. I found Hal making extra scrambled eggs on the stove in the middle of the room while Carol was busy emptying the dishwasher behind him. Both were in loungewear so I expected them to look tired, but when they turned to each other to share a kiss, I noticed their big smiles. Carol noticed me walk in and she said, "Hey, honey. Come get some breakfast."

I grabbed a plate and began serving food while asked, "So what's the plan today?"

Carol was the one to answer. "Well, now that Georgette's bio mom has officially signed away rights, we're going to the case manager's office to get her set up for adoption. Though to be honest, I don't think she'll be up for adoption for long. The Herrara family has constantly been dropping hints to let them know when Georgette becomes available. They love the little girl so much."

"And you, Hal?"

"Jaime's parents are coming for their last visit before their court case tomorrow."

"You think they have a shot?"

"I'm sure they'll win. They really are great parents, or they wouldn't have put so much effort into being clean these last 6 months to get him back."

Carol added, "And every day Jaime gets more and more eager to be with them again. Though he did cry yesterday a bit saying he was going to miss us. Especially those video games night with you and Hal."

I nodded. "I'll definitely miss Jaime and Georgette." I looked out the kitchen window to the small grass garden in the back. "But like all the other kids that have come and gone from this place, they're going to be all right. Because they learned love from you guys. There are really no better Foster Parents out there."

"Awe, Mary," Carol cooed as she put a hand over her chest.

Hal came around and put a hand on my shoulder. "And we wouldn't be this good if we hadn't learned from you. Especially me. I didn't know I had it in me to help kids like you until I met you."

I felt my emotions well up in my chest so to keep from crying, I brought Hal into a hug and said, "And I didn't know you could get grey hairs."

Carol laughed as Hal pulled away and scratched the side of his scalp where grey hairs grew. "Haha, very funny," he said sarcastically.

))))))))))))))))) - (((((((((((((((((

I can never be more thankful for a guy like Hal. Our story really is one for the ages. And my Blue Lantern Boyfriend won't let me forget it. Ever since Cody started studying animation he's been going on about how he'd love to make these space adventures into a TV series. It's why Cody listens to my video logs constantly because he loves to hear me talk. Loves to hear my view of what I've learned and what I've done compared to back then and now.

… And Now…

…. Yeah….

….

A lot has come by me up to now. I somehow kept that athletic scholarship throughout my high school years. But once college came it was hard to keep up with sports teams on Earth and the crew in space. So I made a decision. I took my general education, and then recently graduated with a major in psychology. Weird right? But I guess it's easy to understand when you've interacted with different species and dealt with space drama.

I still kept my passion for sports by coaching in after school sports programs for kids around the city. But my experiences as a Green Lanterns and some help from my degree really come in handy when those kids turn out to be in the foster care system. Sometimes it's a giving world, and sometimes it's a cruel one. But like Hal and the crew were there for me, I'm there for those kids.

And not just little earthlings. I mean, with Hal retired, who's going to lead the Interceptor Crew, right? Especially with the new members, we've gained over the years. I've even got a partner. Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, a 17-year-old from Portland, Oregon. A girl who had seen so much cruelty at such a young age, but was chosen by the ring because she faced her anxiety head-on. And she grows stronger and stronger, I couldn't be more proud.

And even with all that...I still get… stuck. I guess even as adults we still doubt ourselves. But that's why, no matter what our age is, the ones who love us are always there to push us forward.

)))))))))))))))) Coast City, Earth ((((((((((((((((

"Are you really sure you don't want to come with me this time?" I asked Hal as he stood outside my room. "The crew could use a few pointers…" I finished with a smirk

Hal shook his head and motioned around the room. "Take a look around." I did just that, looking at the big drawer, the wall closet, and the nightstand. I scanned the all were my Award Plaques and Diploma hung alongside art pieces drawn by Cody. My eyes even landed on a shelf where my mother's journals were kneeled stacked alongside each other. Then Hal said, "And take a look at yourself." My eyes drifted to a body mirror with the rim covered in pictures. As I walked up to it I looked at the way I was dressed. A green blouse, jeans, and a white cardigan. My short shoulder lengths hair was put into a half ponytail. It helped showed off my facial features witch have matured over the years. Hal finished, "Compare all this to eight years ago. Actually, compare it to the last ten."

I knew where he was going but I was just so nervous that I said sarcastically, "Are you talking about how I finally accepted wearing cute clothes or that we're in a bigger house?"

"Not the point I was going for and you know it," Hal said as he walked into my room and stood next to me to face the mirror. "Mary, I didn't just retire to look after these kids. My dad and your mom couldn't be there to see us grow. So I retired because I wanted to see my daughter find her steps forward. And I've been seeing it long before now. From a Red Lantern invasion to fighting for Life itself, I saw you really become the Green Lantern you were meant to be. With some slight help from me of course." We looked at two pictures on my mirror.

There was one of the Circle in our transition to High School, all us friends with different interests and personalities coming together. Then there was one of Hal, Killowag, Aya, Razer, and I just after we defeated Nekron. And then there was a sketch my mom drew of me and her. My biggest support group, my friends and family, that I wouldn't be here without. Hal continued, "I'm very sure, eight years later, everything you have experienced has lead up to this moment. And who you are, my feisty, energetic, and brave Mary Marcus Jordan, is what will keep the spirits of everyone you meet alive. You are a leader."

I smiled and Hal and I came together for a hug and we were there for so long that I didn't know when my mind had shifted into a vision. Unknown faces and unknown places, but I saw Heroes rise to the challenge and I was at the forefront. I smiled and stepped back from Hal. "I love you, dad."

"Love you, too, kiddo."

I took a deep breath before I said into my ring, "All available crewmates, report to the Interceptor ASAP. I just had a vision that we're going to be needed."

)))))))))))))) - (((((((((((((((

Yeah… taking my own steps I am. I even got rid of my criminally insane father's name. I am more then what i've become. Which is why I summed up theres last eight years in one log compared to my other stories. I'll be busier then ever, now that I'm leading the Interceptor crew.

))))))))))))) Interceptor over Oa ((((((((((((((

So… this is my last video log...

I walked through the entrance to the cockpit wearing my GL suite. Yep, I finally decided to dawn a suite like Hal, except it's white and Green and I kept the belt with the green lantern symbol.

"Last minutes check-in," I barked as I sat down on the pilot's seat in front of the main control panel. "Sound off and give me diagnostics."

"Trinity here," said a pink-skinned woman at the far left of the panel alongside the window. She wore a full black body suit. Her black cape had the Indigo tribe insignia on it and her staff was leaned up against her seat. "All support systems are online."

"Tekik reporting in," came a male, robotic voice. In front of Trinity was a tall silver android with a dome shapes head and a jetpack. He had yellow arm gauntlets as well as a yellow chest plate with the Sinestro Corp's emblems. "Engine running at full charge. Priming the impellers."

"Tomar'Tu, here for you," came a young male voice at the far right of the ship. I rolled my eyes but smiled as I looked at Tooey dressed in his green lantern uniform. The now 14-year-old Xudarian waved a finger in the air as his other hand scanned his side of the panel. "I just finished locking in the coordinates."

"The top gunner ring reads operational," said a young teen with flowing long brown hair. To match her green lantern suite was the Green Lantern insignia that looked like a glowing tattoo around her right eye and strand of green-dyed hair. "Oh, and Jessica Cruz reporting in."

I gave the girl a reassuring curt nod before looking to the front. "How about our weaponry?"

"The top gunner ring read operational," Vivian replied. The Vietnamese woman pushed her glasses into place before she turned to me. She hadn't outgrown her Sapphire suite but her hair had gotten longer.

Cody, who sat on Vivian's right, turned around to also look at me. We shared a quick loving look before the young Blue Lantern man said, "Looks like we're ready to go."

"Right, but we're one member short- oh!" I yelped as a Russian Blue cat with amber eyes and wearing a small Red Lantern suite jumped onto my lap. "Oh, there you are, Dexstarr," I cooed as I scratched him on the back of the neck. "Our emotional support cat."

Dextarr started to purr but was cut off when Cody whispered, "Who needs emotional support himself." The cat jumped onto the pilot panel and hissed towards Cody. The man jumped up a little and yelled, "Geez!" Everyone in the cockpit laughed.

"Ok, ok. Enough fooling around. People need our help. Tekik, fire up the Ultra-wharp."

The sound of the engine revving up was heard throughout the cockpit. "Let's go, Interceptor Crew!" I yelled. And the Interceptor rocketed into ultra warp.

. This is Mary, signing off…

A.N: And thus ends the Green Lantern Triology that i've been working on for the last eight years! Can you believe it?! 304 chapters later, not including author notes and intros, and we made it to the end.

And I wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for you readers. With all the favorites and follows, and especially the 871 reviews in total. I did a little searching and i'm blown away by what I found. Journey to the Frontier is in the top 11 reviewed GLTAS stories, War of Emotion in the top five. And THIS story, Undivided Let's Stand, is the Number #1 reviewed GLTAS story. I'm actually crying! I LOVE you guys! I wish I can create a love portal just to hug you all and give you cookies, anything to show my gratitude. What I can do is show you my latest art piece. The link to my deviantart is always here on my FanFic net profile. The title of the piece is "Together from Afar".

Yes, the same song suggestion I gave you in the beginning of the epilogue. I chose this song because it truly fits Mary's journey though all these stories. The connections she's made with these characters, it's how I felt when I was first watching the show. They helped me grow into a better person, and take steps forward in places I never thought possible. I became a fic writer and grew into a better story storyteller. Which is why i'm in animation. My greatest dream would be to work on a GLTAS revival as a strory artist, maybe even a director!

I guess what I'm trying to say is, Mary truly is me. A reflection of my journey in life.

But just like Mary, it's time to move forward. To close this chapter in our lives and continue to grow. But even though we don't see the people we love as much anymore, hear the same stories we love, those connection will keep us together in spirit. Together from Afar. I wish you readers, from the ones who started reading my first ever fic to the ones who just started reading, I wish you all the best. If you wish to continue with me… read my other fics! Or…. I guess I can drop my twitter handle here…. ( KikaFedCue)

"May the Ring Serve you Well." "Focus on the Lake" "All Will be Well" All the jazz…

I'm KikaKatTIOI, signing off for the last time as a GLTAS writer. Peace out!
