Giorgio watched as Nina was surfing. He was so scared and his mind would just replay when his wife fell off her board. He couldn't stand to watch. Even if it was for this one time for 5 minutes for some stupid bet James agreed to.

Mr. Ridgemount put a hand on Giorgio's shoulder. "I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault. I would have made that stupid bet too. Maybe I'm just living in the past. After the accident, I forbade Nina to surf but she still did it behind my back. I can't stop her from doing what she loves. Maybe I'm being too hard on her."

"I think so Giorgio. You were worried, and that's okay. Fathers worry. You over worry but you have a good intention." Mr. Ridgemount said. "I like that about you."

"That's nice of you James." Giorgio said. "Thank you for saying that."

Baumer and Johnny got to the beach.

"Oh Andrew, there you are." Mr. Ridgemount noted. "Aren't you sick?"

"I am, I just wanted to see Nina surf." Baumer replied, with a cough.

"She's really good, Andrew." Johnny said.

Nina jumped in the air, turned horizontally and twisted her body twice.

Simon gaped. "That was The Twist!" He said. "How the hell did she learn that move?!"

"From watching her mother." Giorgio replied.

"CARMELA WAS HER MOTHER?"

Giorgio glanced at him. "Yes."

She then put her foot down to land on her board but it was too fast. She slipped off her board and fell towards the rocks.

"NINA!"

Ripper immediately ran into the water and dived in.

Giorgio stood there in shock. He wouldn't move and his mind played the horrible event of what happened to his wife. His hands went to the side of his head. "James! It's happening again!" He panicked, tears forming in his eyes.

"Giorgio, calm down!"

"No! I will not calm down!" Giorgio barked. "You were there that day! See? This is the exact reason why I didn't want her to surf! Because of something like this!" Giorgio panted heavily. "I can't lose Nina! She's my pride and joy! James, what will I do?!"

Mr. Ridgemount didn't know what to say.

Everyone fell silent when they saw Ripper brining her back to the shore. He gently put her back on the sand.

"Nina!" Baumer ran over to her. No, this can't be happening… Nina is just lying there…lifeless.

Reef ran over and started doing CPR.

She wasn't responding.

"Nina…no….why…why…" Baumer started shaking her. "Wake up! Wake….up!"

"Baumer, stop!"

Baumer let go of her. "No! She can't be gone! It's too soon!" Tears fell from his eyes. "I didn't have a chance to tell her how I feel."

Reef kept doing CPR. He wasn't going to give up!

"Feel? Feelings for my daughter?"

"Yes, sir."

"What feelings?"

"Love."

"Love?!"

"Love." Baumer repeated.

"Why didn't you say anything earlier?!"

"Are you kidding me? I'm afraid of you."

"….Oh."

Nina finally coughed up water. She sat up and kept coughing.

"Nina!"

A fresh batch of tears fell down Giorgio's face. But they were happy tears. "Nina…thank god." He hugged her carefully. "I thought I lost you."

"Daddy…" She whispered, hugging back.

"Oh, I love you so much." He told her.

"I love you too, daddy."

Giorgio turned to Reef. "Thank you."

Reef grinned. "You're welcome."

Giorgio turned back to Nina. "Are you hurt at all?" He asked.

"I think I'm alright." Nina replied.

Simon gently picked her up. "Well, even though you say that, you still should be checked out."

Baumer clenched his fist. How dare he…

"I'll carry you to the nurse. There might be-"

"Put her down." Giorgio spat.

Simon did as he was told and put Nina down on the sand again. "Who won this 'competition'?" He air quoted. "I think it's obvious."

Kahuna nodded. "Ya, she fell off her board."

Simon raised his arms in the air. "Ha. See?"

"And she still did better than you."

"…What?!" Simon gaped. "How?!"

Captain Ron sighed.

Mr. Ridgemount went over to him with his hand out. "Look, this bet thing was stupid. Let's just say this was a friendly competition."

Captain Ron looked at his hand. "Ya, alright. It was in the heat of the moment." He shook Mr. Ridgemount's hand. "I still hate you."

"Right back at you."

"Come on, Betty, Tuna." He said. "We're leaving." Then they went back to their hotel.

Simon stood there dumbfounded. "You know what? I'm out of here." He grabbed his surfboard and left.

"That was fast…"

Giorgio looked at his daughter. "I'm sorry Nina. That was the exact reason why I didn't want you to surf."

"I know how you feel now, daddy." Nina said. "I'm sorry for going behind your back."

"And I am going to have to ask you to stop surfing, at least when I'm not there."

Nina nodded. "I understand."

"If I was there all the time, then it would be different."

Mr. Ridgemount spoke up. "What if you worked with me? We could co-own surfer's paradise and travel together and I can help with your job. That way, you can be home more often." He offered.

Giorgio stood. "Fantastico*!" He nodded. "I like that idea!" He shook hands with Mr. Ridgemount.

"That's so cheesy." Reef muttered.

Fin smacked his arm.

Giorgio pulled out his cell phone and began calling everyone he worked with the news.

Nina went over to Baumer. "Looks like I'll be coming back more often." She gave him a smile.

A blush spread on his face. "Look Nina…" He started.

"I know, I know. You like me. You told me remember?" Nina said.

Baumer blinked. "…Oh ya."

Nina smiled. "I like you too. And I do want to kiss you, but you said yourself that you don't want to get me sick. So I'll wait as long as I have to until you're-"

"Oh shut up." He lifted her chin and kissed her.

Nina blushed and kissed him back.

And they lived happily ever…

"Did you just tell my daughter to shut up?"

"What? No…I mean I did, but not in that way!" He said. "It was in a nice…way."

A grin appeared on Giorgio's face. "Andrew, you don't have to be afraid of me you know." He informed. "I won't bite you."

"What?"

"Daddy, the proper term is 'I won't bite'. "

"Is it? Okay then!" He slapped Baumer's back. "Glad to have someone like you dating my daughter. You should join us for dinner tonight."

"Dating…" He blushed at the term.

"Come on, Giorgio. Let's discuss this new plan of ours."

Giorgio followed Mr. Ridgemount inside. "Yes James."

Baumer's eyes widened. "Wait a minute…"

"What Andrew?"
