Plo Koon Takes Ahsoka To the Temple(with lots of smiling)

Plo Koon looked at the youngling before him. She was just three years old and her montrals had barely grown.

It seemed as if she was glowing, but all she was doing was looking at him with her sapphire eyes that held so much brightness. It was as if nothing bad had ever happened to her.

"What is her name?" Plo asked her parents.

"Ahsoka Tano." Her mother replied, holding back tears.

Plo offered his clawed hand out to Ahsoka, and she took it. Her hand was so much smaller than his and she could only grab his pointer finger.

He gently got up from the ground and lead the Togruta child to the ship.

The young girl's parents watched him take their only daughter away, but Plo didn't want to just leave them like that. So, he looked back and said, "Thank you for letting me take care of your daughter. I promise to take care of her."

Ahsoka looked back as well, smiled, sadness radiating off her though, but Plo could tell that she would not regret her decision to come with him.

When the two Force-sensitive beings got to the front of the ship with the controls, he gently placed Ahsoka on the co-pilot's seat. She was a little old to be taken to the Jedi Temple, but only by two years.

Ahsoka smiled up at him as he carefully strapped her into her seatbelt before getting in his seat. Plo turned on the engines and quickly sent them into hyperspace.

"Why didn't you put on a chair-belt?" Ahsoka tilted her head at Master Plo and his heart practically melted. Children didn't deserve to be taken from their families at so young, or at all.

"I am a Jedi and need to be able to protect you if anything goes wrong." Plo answered simply and smiled under his mask.

Ahsoka nodded, but then less than a moment later, she pointed to the navigation panel as if it was the most interesting thing in the world. "What's that?"

Plo laughed. "That's the navigation. It says that we're going to Coruscant."

Once again, Ahsoka nodded then asked a question. "Why do you have that mask?"

"It protects me."

"From what?"

"The air."

"But air can't hurt us!"

"It can for me. Air for Kel Dor can hurt us unless we are on our homeplanet." Plo Koon would normally get annoyed when younglings would pound him with questions, but this actually filled him with happiness and enjoyment.

"I'm cold." Ahsoka shivered and wrapped her arms around herself.

Plo walked over to her seat and undid the seatbelt. The youngling held her arms out to him so he could pick her up, and he did as she wanted.

Ahsoka buried her head in his robes, thankful for the warmth. Until she saw that they were in hyperspace. Her eyes widened in surprise and curiosity. "WOAH! WHAT IS THAT!"

Plo couldn't hide his amusement. "We are in hyperspace...Little 'Soka." He was quite proud of the nickname he had come up with, and even more proud when Ahsoka let her tiny head rest on his shoulder as if it fit perfectly.

The two of them stayed like this for a while, and eventually Ahsoka's breathing evened out and she fell asleep.

Plo was too scared to move in fear of waking up Ahsoka, so he used the Force to land the ship once the ship reached Coruscant. When the ship had landed, Plo carefully walked off the platform to see another ship next to his. It belonged to another Jedi who had a Padawan. The ship belonged to Qui-Gon. He dies a year after Ahsoka is brought to the Temple.

Plo was pretty sure that they were leaving on a mission any minute. Then, he saw the two Jedi in their cream colored robes walking towards him.

"Master Plo Koon, what a pleasure." Qui-Gon greeted the Kel Dor Master. "Who is the young one with you?"

Plo Koon smiled under his mask again. "Her name is Ahsoka Tano."

"She is very adorable. Where is she from?" Obi-Wan asked.

"Shili. She fell asleep on the way here." Plo Koon admitted as Ahsoka stirred awake. Her eyes opened slowly and she took in her surroundings.

"Where are we? Are we on Coru-Corucent?" Ahsoka's pronunciation of Coruscant was adorable.

Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan both smiled, and Ahsoka tilted her head at them, ignoring the fact that no one answered her question.

"Why did you smile? Nothing happy happened." Ahsoka asked in her tiny, soft voice.

Obi-Wan now looked as if he was dying inside and Qui-Gon now had an amused smirk on his face. Meanwhile, Plo Koon was trying to hide that he was doing both of those things.

"Well we are just happy." Plo tried his best to keep his voice as steady as possible, but Ahsoka was being so unintentionally cute.

"I'm hungry." Ahsoka decided. "Can I have a snack?"

"I need to take you to Master Yoda first." Plo replied and Ahsoka's face twisted in anger but it was adorable anger.

"We best be going." Qui-Gon smiled gently. "Take care, young one."

Then, he and Obi-Wan walked to their ship.

"Would you like me to put you down, Little 'Soka?" Plo asked the youngling.

Ahsoka shook her head. "No, I like it up here. Now I'm taller than everyone."
