I know I said I would not be doing this, but I am. I am rewriting the Supergirl story of Brave New World, but that is the last rewrite I am doing. This will no longer be a Supercorp story, I'm switching back to Karamel, just because I feel like I can do more with that pairing. Sorry to those of you who were enjoying the Supercorp story, but while I like Supercorp, it was always more of a fun experiment, but I want to write a Karamel version of it. Hope you guys understand and this will hopefully be the last rewrite I do for this series and I hope you guys like it.

The last thing Kara remembered before blacking out was standing at the Dawn of Time with the other paragons, one of which being the man she despised more an any other, Lex Luthor, watching as the universe was reborn due to the efforts and sacrifice of Oliver Queen, with help from her and the other paragons.

However, she was both surprised and confused when she woke up in a strange bed that she didn't recognize.

"What am I doing here?" Kara asked before noticing that she'd only been sleeping on one side of the bed and the bed clearly showed signs of two people sleeping in it on a regular basis, which confused her, since she hadn't even been dating anyone before Crisis, let alone sleeping with anyone. Then she looked at the bedside table and she was very surprised at what she saw, since it was a picture of her and none other than Mon-El standing in some sort of backyard, his arms wrapped around her waist and they were both smiling widely. The only thing was, she didn't remember taking and with her memory, she was sure she would've.

However, she was pulled from her thoughts when she heard her phone buzz on the table and she quickly picked it up and was further confused when she noticed that not only was the number that she recognized as J'onn's was now listed as an unknown caller, but also the date that she read on it. Specifically the year, which read 2012.

"J'onn." Kara asked when she answered.

"Thank goodness. I was surprised when your number disappeared from my contacts." J'onn said.

"Yeah, you and me both. What the hell is going on? The last thing I remember, we were at the dawn of time and now I'm waking up in a bed that is definitely not mine, at least, that I don't remember being mine and a lot of evidence showing that I'm sharing it with Mon-El." Kara said.

"I'm just as confused as you are. It appears that whatever it is that's going on, it's reset the world back to 2012, though I don't understand why, since now I'm the director of the DEO again and now Alex has no idea of who I really am and based on the gleaming I did of her mind, you're not Supergirl anymore." J'onn said.

"Yeah well, that's about to change." Kara said.

"Kara, don't be rash. We need to figure out exactly what is going on here before we do anything." J'onn said.

"And how do you recommend we do that?" Kara asked.

"I don't know, but I think that it would be best if, until we can figure out exactly what is going on here that we do our best to avoid drawing suspicion." J'onn said.

"We need to find a place to meet where it wouldn't look out of place and I'd invite you over to my place, but honestly, I don't even know if I have my loft any more." Kara said.

"How about Al's Dive Bar? It should still exist, so people won't think too much of either of us showing up there." J'onn said.

"Okay, I will meet you there soon." Kara said she hung up and climbed out of bed.

"Okay, I need to find out what's going on." Kara said, before catching a whiff of her morning breath.

"But first, I need to make myself look presentable." she added before heading to the door that she somehow knew led to the adjoining bathroom and she was very relieved to find that she had been wearing pajamas, especially since when she walked through the door, she did not find herself in a bathroom, she found herself in what had to be the Monitor's realm. Especially since she was looking right at him.

"Oh great, you." Kara said.

"It's nice to see you too Kara Zor-El." Mar Novu said.

"Sorry, but considering the fact that every time you show up, a crisis happens, can you blame me for not being very welcoming?" Kara asked and Novu chuckled.

"Fair enough. But you can relax, since I am not here to warn you. I am simply to explain what has happened." Novu said.

"Okay then, start talking." Kara said.

"This is the world that you and the other paragons created at the Dawn of Time. A world where you all live on the same earth, right at the point in time where the age of heroes first began." Novu said.

"I'm not following." Kara said.

"The day that Oliver Queen, who lives once more, returned home from the island Lian Yu." Novu said.

"Makes sense. Oliver was the one who restarted the universe, so I guess it does follow some kind of logic that we'd be sent back to the day he officially became the Green Arrow." Kara said and Novu nodded.

"You're taking this remarkably well." Novu said.

"Honestly, the fact that Oliver is still alive and so are the rest of the people I love is enough comfort. Especially since it's 2012, that means that my aunt is still alive. So instead of living in shock, I'd rather focus on the positives. However, there is one mistake you made that you need to fix." Kara said.

"Lex Luthor." Novu said and Kara nodded.

"You brought him back, you're the reason he became the paragon of truth, which means that it's your fault that he remembers who I am, which means it won't take long for him to figure out who Superman is." Kara said and Novu nodded.

"I agree, however, I cannot remove Luthor from the timeline since he has not died yet in this reality and my purpose is to attempt to maintain the balance of the universe. That is why Oliver Queen made the deal he did with me to save you and Barry Allen during the Elseworlds." Novu said.

"The book of destiny was the only way to change reality without disrupting balance wasn't it." Kara said and Novu nodded.

"And Oliver Queen needed a means to destroy it. And you can't get mad at him because you know that you would've done the same thing." Novu said and Kara nodded in agreement.

"Anyways, I understand that you can't kill Lex, but can you at least wipe his memories before he has a chance to take any precautions against it." Kara asked.

"The first thing I did in this reality was do exactly that. He is no longer needed as the paragon of truth." Novu said and Kara nodded, sighing in relief.

"Also, is there any chance that you can give me the memories of my counterpart from this earth so that maybe I can know what's going on when you send me back to Earth?" Kara asked and Novu nodded.

"I've already done that service for Oliver Queen and Barry Allen and I intend to do it for J'onn J'onzz, Kate Kane, Sara Lance and Ryan Choi. J'onn will be able to use his powers to restore the memories of other people in this reality and his powers will be strong enough to restore the memories of even your cousin." Novu said and Kara nodded as Novu waved his hand and restored her memories, which gave Kara one of the few headaches she'd gotten since she'd arrived on Earth in either universe before Novu sent her back to Earth.

When Kara returned to Earth, she took a minute to sit back down on the bed she now remembered that she shared with Mon-El in this reality as she took some time to comprehend the memories she'd gotten from her counterpart in this reality and they really answered all her questions about why she'd woken up here instead of in her loft.

Her life had been relatively the same in this universe until she'd gone to college, since this time she'd gone to Metropolis University, though what really got her attention was that in addition to getting her degree in journalism, Kara had also majored in business in this universe. Then after that, she'd moved to Coast City and gotten a job at Catco as Cat's assistant and had eventually made the rank of reporter before she'd been fired by Snapper, but instead of letting that deter her, Kara had instead moved to National City and used her business degree to start up her own newspaper, which she'd decided to call Danvers Daily News.

She also discovered that while her life was relatively the same, Mon-El's wasn't. In this universe, he'd been around the same age she'd been when her parents sent her off Krypton when he'd left Daxam and his pod had also been knocked into the phantom zone by debris that came from one of Daxam's moons that was struck by debris from Krypton's destruction. Her best guess was that Indigo had used both her pod and his to tow Fort Rozz out of the Phantom Zone. Mon-El's pod had crashed here in National City where he was taken in and raised by the Matthews family and they'd even given him the human name of Mike. That, plus his age had allowed his foster parents to curb his arrogant behavior before it got out of control. He'd actually grown up to become a police officer for the National City Police Department, which was actually how they'd met, since she'd been covering the policemen's ball for her paper and he'd asked her to dance and things had escalated from there. They'd even revealed the truth about their origins to each other and while they'd initially been shocked, they'd decided that the feud between the Kryptonians and the Daxamites died when their planets did. They'd been together for three years now and they'd recently moved in together, though instead of moving into her loft, they'd gotten a bigger one with a spare bedroom.

That had actually answered a lot of her questions and she made a mental note to thank Oliver for this, since he'd given her one of her greatest wishes. Despite what she'd told herself, Kara knew that she'd never truly moved on from Mon-El and now she had a real chance with him. One that she was not going to allow his mother of all people to ruin for her, since her time with Mon-El was probably the happiest time of her life. She was also very excited to learn that instead of simply being a reporter or assistant this time, now she was the boss of her own newspaper and once she became Supergirl again, she'd be the owner of the best newspaper in the city.

Anyways, Kara checked the time and realized that she needed to get to the bar to meet J'onn before she headed to work.

After going through her morning routine at super speed, Kara flew to Al's Dive Bar to find J'onn waiting for her there.

"I take it you got a visit from the anti monitor?" Kara asked and J'onn nodded.

"Yes and now a lot of things make sense. Including that I need to stop by National City PD on my way back to the DEO." J'onn said with a smile.

"Yeah, I still can't believe that Mon-El and I are getting another chance together." Kara said happily.

"You deserve it Kara. I'm sure that the two of you will be very happy together, especially once you both put your suits on." J'onn said.

"Yeah, that reminds me, I need to find someone to make my suit." Kara said.

"I'd offer the DEO's tailor, but I don't think that's ideal." Alex said as she exited the bar.

"J'onn restored your memories already." Kara said as she hugged her sister.

"He did and you're lucky I already have memories of threatening your boyfriend, otherwise I'd be doing that as soon as J'onn restores his memories." Alex said.

"J'onn, find Kelly and get her here quickly so that Alex is distracted." Kara requested and J'onn chuckled.

"Don't worry, James is one of the people on my list of memories to restore, so I'll find out where Kelly is from him. I'm sure she'll be eager to move to National City once I do that." J'onn said.

"We'll head out tonight." Kara said.

"We?" J'onn asked.

"I'm only going in case I need to restrain Clark so you can restore his memories." Kara explained and J'onn nodded.

"In the meantime, I'm going to search National City for any of our other superfriends and restore their memories." J'onn said and Kara and Alex nodded as he flew off.

"Speaking of memories, what are we going to do about Lena's?" Alex asked.

"Hopefully she won't remember anything and it's best we keep it that way." Kara said and Alex nodded, right as Kara's phone rang and she was surprised by the number she found on her phone.

"Hello?" Kara asked.

"Hello Kara. Or should I call you Supergirl." Lena's voice said coldly.

"How do you even remember any of this?" Kara asked.

"Lex made a deal with the Monitor." Lena said.

"Where are you, I think we need to have a talk." Kara said.

"My penthouse in National City." Lena said.

"I'll be there soon." Kara said.

"What was that about?" Alex asked.

"That was Lena. Apparently Lex made a deal with Novu to ensure that she kept her pre-crisis memories." Kara said.

"So she remembers that you're Supergirl." Alex said.

"Yep, and now I need to go talk some sense into her, since honestly, she's had her chance to air her anger at me, I think it's time I return the favor." Kara said.

"So you're not going to just give her another chance?" Alex asked.

"If I thought I could trust her not to exploit it, I would, but despite what I said before Crisis, I had a lot of time to think at the Vanishing Point and I think that Lena needs a wake up call. I'll let you and J'onn know if I need him to wipe her memories." Kara said and Alex nodded as Kara looked around before flying off towards Lena's place.
