FIRST ADDAMS FAMILY STORY I WROTE IN YEARS! BE KIND TO ME AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK AND ILL SEE TO WRITE SOME MORE TO THIS.

It was a normal day at the Addams home as the sky was dark and the crows barked loudly as I dug my usual grave as I had another foot to go. My chains off my belt jiggled a bit as I dug as my combat boots were a mess as always from the dirt that was around me. Why do I dig up graves you ask? Well, we are always burring someone or something here in our grave yard of family members. My hair plastered to my forehead from the sweat that fell of my brows. Even though it was a dark sky the air was warm and humite as it was summer time. My hair was shaved on the sides as I hated how my hair would stick in my ears or tickle them when it was long.

I looked at my dirty watch as I saw it was thirty minutes to noon as I knew it was time to get out to get ready for lunch. I shove my shovel in the dirt and climb my way out of the hole as I look back at my work. I smiled as I turned around and head towards the back porch were, I take off my dirty combat boots and put it in the wooden box I made to hold them so no rain nor snow get on them. I grab the black towel on the box as I wipe off dirt that was on me so I don't track it inside the house to have lurch growl at me when he already cleaned the floors.

I made my way in the large home and up the large staircase to the left were I was on the side of the house of mother and father but far enough so I don't hear them at night. As I made it down the hall I saw Wednesday and Pugsley sword fighting. Now in their older teen years I smiled how advanced they have gowned in the fighting. I smile as they smiled big when they saw me coming up the hall. "Shadow, Shadow!" They called as they ran over to me.

"Hey guys how's it going?" I smiled to show my eight-pointed teeth like a vampire with four sets on the bottom and four on the top.

"You look a mess as always." Wednesday said dryly as she let her hair down from the braids she had to look more like mother now.

"Why thank you." I bow.

"I heard granny is making rabbit stew for lunch." Pugsley says with a smile. No longer that chunky kid as he skinned out to this boney figure you call a boy.

"I get the eyes!" Wednesday raise her hand with almost a smile on her face. I smirk as she says that.

"I want to keep the skull unless she using it for something important." I smile as I walk off to my room as I shut the door.

The room was light by red and white string lights around the room as some dripped down the walls almost like blood. I had my writing desk by one window on the side of the house to look out at the swamp and my queen-sized bed with black and red blankets and sheets that was by a large window. I fixed that window a couple times from throwing books across the room in anger from odd reasons. I stripped from my clothes to show my snow-white skin that covered the thin but muscular body that I have. I work out time to time in the basement from boxing to lifting weights. I go to the bathroom to turn on the water in the shower as I get it warm but not too hot or too cold.

I washed my body that had the dirt wash down the drain as I ruffle my hair silking it back so the water drips down my back instead of my face. I shave slowly but fast enough so I don't take long but hate to cut myself but don't mind the sting of the wound. I turn off the water grabbing the towel from the hook to dry off and look in the mirror as I washed my face with cleaner to keep the face clean and away from anything that may distract someone. I look at the black scars on my eyes that I got from an explosion I cause when I was young. I set off a small bomb in a hole and didn't go off till I was face to face with it. The metal ripped my eyes and the skin around it. I was blind for two months and six days till my eyes healed but not the skin around it.

I walk to my drawer and but on my boxers and sports bra as I rub cream on my skin to keep the skin health. I then put on my gray tank top with my black ripped jeans as mother wasn't pleased with but I was an adult and she let me do it as long I stayed out of harm's way. I slipped my black socks along with my combat boots that are for around the house and going out. Yes, I have many pairs of them because I few comfortable in them and like how they sound while walking on the floor of the house. I attach my chains around my belt loops that hang down just below the hip not too low to be grabbed on to anything. I put my wallet in my left pocket and my iPhone in my right pocket as I don't use it much at all besides to rock out or call someone if needed.

I look at my watch to see its eleven fifty-five just enough time to get downstairs. I walk off and close my door behind me walking down the long hall way with my hands in my pockets with my chains jingling a bit as I walk. I go down the long stair case once again as it seems quiet but I can hear talking coming from the kitchen.

"Theres my oldest." Say my father Gomez with that smile of his on his face.

"Hi dad." I smile as we fist bump something, I showed him to do since I was a teenager.

"How's the digging coming along? See you have gotten pretty far today." He says as we walk to the kitchen.

"Just a foot to go but I'll save that for tomorrow." I smile as walk in as Pugsley in his normal spot next to uncle Fester with his wife next to him Aunt Dementia. On the left side was Wednesday, Mother and I and of course father at the head of the table. Pretty big table of course if you really think of it.

"Ah there you two are we are just about to start to eat." Mother smiles as her eyes seemed to glow as always. I smile as I sit down next to her as I looked over and granny placed the rabbit skull on my left side.

"Teeth as always in tack for you deary." She smiles.

"Always love those teeth. Thank you." I hug her as we all start to eat the stew and listened to some talk about their day so far. I always loved to listen to my family talk to each other as we all got along so well. Someday fights might break out between my siblings and I but we always forgive each other... In do time that is. Sometimes we go on months fighting each other till mother and father had enough and locked us in our rooms. For our own good that is.

"Raven dear how is your grave digging going? You work so hard you should watch your pace." Aunt Dementia says as she smiles. She was always worried about me working too hard as she thinks my body may give out by age thirty. Raven... my middle name as when I was born ravens gathered at the window to see me. But my father always wanted a child named Shadow so that's where my name came about.

"Its fine only a foot to go really but I'll save it for tomorrow. I want to work on some writing today. Haven't done so in a few days." I smile as I eat.

"We do love your poem you wrote for Fester and I's wedding. Hangs on our wall very touching." She smiles as I nod.

"Thought it could have been better to be honest." I look down at the bowl.

"Stop trying to over exert yourself dear. It was touching to the core." Mother says. "Are you coming to listen to your brother's poetry for the talent show?"

"It's going to end with a bang!" He smiles proudly.

"That's my boy!" Father says happily.

"Why would I miss his last one? Of course, I will be there." I smile as Pugsley smiles at me knowing he wants to show me how much he practiced on what I taught him.

I helped clean up as everyone went their ways throughout the house. Granny looked over at me as I seemed deep in thought while washing the dishes.

"Whatcha thinking about deary?"

"Hmm what? Oh, sorry I spaced out, there didn't I?" I smile a bit

"Tell me." She says drying the bowls.

"Just... shouldn't I have been married already? Children maybe? I feel I failed in that area of life."

"Shadow, you have plenty of time. Look at Fester, Hes the oldest brother but the last to get married. Your time will come. You know to trust me." She smiles as she walks away as I finish up washing the dishes.

That night I dressed in my black long coat with my red button up underneath it. I gelled back my hair as I smiled at myself. Then there was a knock at the door as I raised an eyebrow wondering who it can be then again it could be only so many people. "You may enter." I say looking back to my mirror to have the door creak open to show my mother walking in as she smiled.

"You always do look well in a long coat. Wasn't that your fathers?" She asks walking over to me to put her hands on my shoulders as she saw that look in my eyes that every mother knows.

"What's bothering you Shadow?" She asks as I sigh dropping my shoulders.

"Am I failure mother?"

"What? Why do you say such a thing?" She asks in shock.

"Just I feel I should be somewhere in my life. A new chapter to say. A husband maybe." Mother just sighed and looked at my through the mirror.

"Don't rush these things my child. Rush into it and you can't run away once it's gone." She's right. Marriage is commitment to go through and stay in till both shall die.

I nod as I fix my collar once more. "Thank you. Means a lot to me." I turn and hug her gently as I feel if I hug her to tight, she may break.

"You know the family is always here for you three. We love to see you grow to carry the family name in your souls. Always an Addams."

"Always an Addams. Yes." I smile saying as we walk out the door and down stairs as Lurch holds the front door open for us to go out to the car.

"I Wanna ride with Shadow!" Wednesday calls out as I smirk. Unlike the family car we have two years ago I bought myself a jet black 1971 Dodge Charger. I make sure that thing gets the best work possible. I grab my keys and unlock the car as the kids get in as my father smirks.

"Let them have fun in their youth." He gets in the car with my mother. I start the car as it roars to life as I drive off quickly as I smile driving down to the High School.
