The performance was more of a harmonious transitioning of famous ballets. Since this was to showcase one performer above the rest, it was geared to his strengths. Those within the dance industry and connoisseurs of the performing arts understood the transitions and how it played upon the overall storyline. A good amount of the audience believed it to be a fairly decent show even though they had no idea what entirely was going on.

Intermission came quicker for those hoping it would. Kira and the group decided to walk around. Lacus and Athrun were busy chatting about the performance while Kira and Cagalli were left to walk behind them.

"I don't think I would be ever on that level to discuss in depth about ballet," Cagalli thought out loud.

"I agree," Kira nodded. "Everyone gives their best at that moment in time. Even if there was someone better, at that moment that's their best. Each person has a unique way to showcase. We should just show praise that they were brave enough to perform and give it their all."

Cagalli let out a chuckle. "This is why you're a guard, you're too nice still. We can't hand out participation trophies to everyone. There will be those who couldn't win. Those who fail from the first step. Not everyone can win. Not everyone can be number one."

"But is it worth it, hurting ourselves, pushing ourselves over the edge for an empty title, a trophy that will sit along many others and collect dust?" Kira questioned.

"You can't win things easily, you have to work for it, to sacrifice," Cagalli argued.

"But what if you didn't have to sacrifice, what if you could just be," Kira countered.

"Keeping with that thought process you'll eventually end up with the Destiny Plan," a voice cut into their conversation. The four looked over to see Ergnes escorting Selena. "My apologies for the interruption. It's still a sensitive topic for me."

"Oh," Kira didn't think anything of it as wrong. "No worries. That's understandable though, as the Destiny Plan is mirrored off of Mars Colony."

"Yes, I admired Gilbert and even favored PLANTs even though Mars is neutral," Ergnes looked over to Selena with a bit of sadness to his voice. She looked to him with a comforting smile. He looked back to the group. "But now after everything, is a person really so worthless just because of their genetics? Is the value really because of our genetics, or is it due to our actions as a human itself?" Ergnes looked back to Selena who kept the comforting smile. She patted his arm. "If you keep thinking on the lines we are born to live, to do whatever we please," Ergnes looked back to the group again. "Then maybe it would be more peaceful but when we start to compete with one another, we get forget what we were actually competing for. There will always be losers and winners but if we think that's okay, its natural, maybe it wouldn't be so bad." Ergnes tensed up. "But IF we continue to fight another something so ingsificant-"

Selena patted his arm once more. "-It's alright. He does have a point." Selena was keeping him from yelling out in anger. "Thank you for allowing us to speak with you. We'll be on our way." She walked him away from the group. Ergnes was doing his very best to keep his anger from boiling over. He had changed since the battles. He couldn't go back to his na?ve self that followed after Gilbert blindly. He needed to be more of a leader.

"He wasn't wrong," Kira was the first to speak up. "People get to thinking 'a place for everything and everything a place,' but if we could just be, to learn that it's okay to fail sometimes. That its only 'human' not 'Natural', not lack of genetic manipulation, then maybe we could keep the peace."

"That would take a lot of unlearning and relearning," Athrun countered.

"We are at a point where the younger generation is now in charge," Lacus latched onto Kira. "We can undo the chains that bound us to continue the same path all these years. We can learn how to live in peace."

The rest agreed in silence. They walked some more when Cagalli spoke first. "Do you think those two will end up together?" Athrun stopped abruptly. Cagalli was taken aback. She stopped to view his shocked face. The others paused as well. "Did I say something wrong?"

Athrun shook his head. "I just thought you would know about Selena's predicament." The three were curious. He let out a sigh. "She's betrothed but no one knows who exactly. I don't even think the fiancé knows either. It was setup by her parents. When the time comes, which will be here soon, it will be announced that Selena will be engaged. It will be then she will transition to become Queen, where she will have an influence in the government instead of her great uncle. They say whoever becomes the Prince Consort will have a small influence but depending on what the agreement was, could eventually influence the whole Kingdom of Scandinavia. The neutral nation could no longer be neutral. I doubt that it would be Ergnes but it would be a slim chance."

"I am surprised that the Earth Alliance hasn't been trying to find that information," Cagalli pondered. "But then again Yuna did also try to his hand for hers at one point in time. He took it back when he found out she was a Coordinator."

"Wasn't he arranged for you as well?" Kira asked.

"Yes," Cagalli let out a defeated sigh while shrugging. "But he knew that before me so he thought he could get Princess Selena as a mistress."

Athrun started to laugh. He continued to laugh so hard he had tears in his eyes. The three looked at him in curiosity and a bit of confusion. He held his stomach. "My apologies. He thought he could get Selena as his mistress?" Cagalli nodded as he continued to laugh between breaths. "He must not know Selena well enough. She wouldn't ever be someone's mistress."

"You're on a first name basis with her, how do you know her so well then?" Cagalli tilted her head, crossing her arms.

"It's a long story. It's mostly due to my late commander, Rau Le Creuset," Athrun explained. "But I also thought she was Lacus from an angle one time." He glanced away in shame. "Anyways, I got to know her more through Commander Creuset. They had an unlikely friendship. I heard she was also friends with Rey Za Burrel. Because of her connections to ZAFT and PLANTs, I became on a first name basis with her, but she is nothing like Lacus. She is not someone whom I keep close as a friend."

The group decided to let that subject go. They finished up their little walk to sit back down in their box seats.

Ergnes was apologizing for his outburst. He was trying hard to keep a level head as he was supposed to head back to Mars to take over as a leader. He felt more of a fool since he was even escorting Princess Selena who had made waves at the delegations. Even the group he spoke with just now, they had an impact. If he wanted people to listen to his words, yelling and outbursts like that would do little for his favor. Ergnes still had a way to go but he was trying.

"It is alright," Selena comforted him. The two were headed back to their seats. "From my first time meeting you until now, you have grown leaps and bounds. You will make a fine leader for the Mars Colony."

Ergnes became calmer as she spoke. There was something about her that had a calming effect. He knew when he saw the fake Lacus, Meer, that something wasn't right. This time his senses were telling him Princess Selena was a being he could see solitude in. He trusted her. Ergnes didn't know how others believed she could be so cold and aloof. Then again, they were not genetically altered as he was, where he could sense what others could not.

"You only say that to calm me down," Ergnes straightened his posture, trying to save face.

"I say that because it is the truth," her voice lowered as they entered the box.

"Ah, they both are back," Brahe stood up. He was sitting in Selena's chair speaking with Luka.

"Yes, we came across Chairwoman Clyne and Orb Representative Athha along with their boyfriends-I mean bodyguards," Selena moved towards her chair, letting go of Ergnes. "Ergnes could not help himself but join in the discussion." Brahe inclined an eyebrow at him while Ergness looked away from him. "Ergnes doesn't give himself enough credit. You can't see your growth when you only focus on the present and the future. You can only see your growth when you take a step back to look at the whole."

"I most certainly agree with that, Your Highness," Brahe nodded. He was proud Ergnes had others seeing the changes and growth in him as well. The lights dimmed down once to quiet everyone before the second half of the performance started.

It was just as beautiful as the first half. It ended with a standing ovation and flowers being thrown at Gatlin. Luka was the first one to stand and applaud his former student. The rest of the box stood with him.

Lunamaria was in awe. She was forgetting how to clap. Shinn chuckled at her while placing his hands over hers, getting them to clap together. "Oh, sorry." She blushed.

"You were in the moment, don't sweat it," Shinn grabbed one of the hands and clasped it with his. "Let's go on a walk after this." Lunamaria nodded. She wanted to keep enjoying the moment. They moved between people to get out of the performance hall as fast as they could.

Dearka nudged Yzak. "Alright, drinks after this where you tell me what you think of Gatlin's performance." Yzak glanced over to Selena who was smiling at Gatlin who was bowing and blowing kisses to the crowd. Yzak nodded. He looked back to Gatlin. Selena glanced over to Yzak before looking back to Gatlin.

After the performance, Luka left Selena and the group to visit Gatlin. The group waited for him in the front area. Lacus and her group was close to them.

"Brother!" A lovely voice called above the crowd. Ergnes jerked his head as he knew that voice. He glanced around as that voice called to him again.

"Setona!" Ergnes left the group to meet Setona who was pushing past people with Jess Rabble hot on her tail. Setona and Ergnes hugged one another. Jess panted as he stopped behind them. "I didn't think I would get to see you again before I headed back." Ergnes let go of his sister. She had grown from an innocent thirteen-year-old to a charismatic sixteen-year-old.

Setona smiled. "Of course, I would meet with you brother!" Setona hooked her arm into his and they headed back to where he was standing. Jess was following behind them. That's how the two got tickets to the show, was thanks to Jess' connections. Setona's eyes lit up when she saw both pink haired women standing near one another, standing out amongst the crowd. Lacus, her idol, wearing simple and chic while Selena, she enjoyed reading about, was striking in a gold fade to black elegant and demure gown. Two pink haired women she wanted to embody, were standing right before her.

Ergnes could see the excitement. "Here, let me introduce you to them."

"Really!?" Setona gripped a bit tighter.

"Of course," Ergnes nodded. He was a bit smug as he knew legendary people and had close relations with them. He started with Lacus' group first. "This is Orb Representative Athha and Admiral Zala. This is PLANT Supreme Councilwoman Clyne and Commander Yamato." The group greeted her. Setona was nervous and overjoyed that she was in the actual presence of Lacus Clyne who even gave her a warm greeting. He then introduced his group. "You remember Nahe." The two smiled brightly at one another. "And this lovely woman I am escorting this evening is the Princess of the Kingdom of Scandinavia, Selena." Selena greeted her. "Everyone, this is my sister, Setona Winters, former symbol of Mars, who is now living the life she wants."

Setona started to get tears in her eyes. This was a huge step her brother had overcame. He was still her little brother even though they differ in age. He had finally begun to see why she ran away from Mars Colony.

"She is also a big fan of Councilwoman Clyne when she was a songstress," Ergnes got to the real reason why he brought her over.

"It is great to see that I have fans all the way to Mars," Lacus took a step closer to her. Setona calmed herself and headed over to Lacus as well.

"Yes! I am a big fan!" Setona was trying to stay calm.

"I would say her singing could rival yours," a voice cut in. The group looked to see Jess Rabble had finally caught up. "Jess Rabble, freelance photojournalist."

"'Nosy Jess' is what they call you, right?" Athrun stepped in.

Jess flinched. He let out a nervous chuckle. "Sometimes. I just like knowing the truth. If I have to make it my business to know the truth, then so be it." He shrugged his shoulders. "Also, Setona became like an assistant over a period of time. The least I could do is help her see the show with my connections."

Ergnes was not too thrilled about that. He gave Setona a questioning look. She glanced away. "Sorry, brother. I didn't want to bother you."

"I would have made sure you got all what you needed," Ergnes felt more of a big brother now.

As the group focused on those two, Jess eyed Selena. He couldn't help but be curious as she was elusive on some topics. He knew he shouldn't ask but he couldn't help himself. Especially when Lacus Clyne, her rival, was next to her. He took a few steps over to her. "Your Majesty, is it true that this is the first time you are out of the Kingdom?" Selena kept calm, waiting for more of his questions. Jess continued when he saw that she was waiting. "Is it true that a Prince consort will be named soon? And are you going to become Queen after that? What about Prin-"

"Nosy Jess indeed," a familiar voice called out to them. "If any questions are being asked, its going to be for the star of the show." Gatlin was in a ballcap, glasses, and regular clothes. "I am the main subject for tonight, not them." Luka was walking next to him. "Please refrain from asking audience members unrelated questions." He looked around the group and then stopped on Setona. "My, my. This is the former symbol of Mars. I have heard that you are a big fan of Lacus and thanks to Nosy Jess, a voice that could rival hers too."

Setona was frozen in one spot. She was with all of these famous people, especially the star of the show. She gulped and nodded.

He let out a chuckle. "Don't be nervous. We're just all humans. However, if you can rival my rival," Lacus and Gatlin eyed one another. "Then let me take you under my wing. Come, I'll make sure you are in the best care." He put is hand out, palm up. She looked down at it, glanced at Ergnes then back at the hand. "You can ask Selena; I promise there won't be any harm coming to you." Setona grabbed his hand. "I'll take good care of her, don't you worry." The two headed off into the crowd.

"Well, well," Donovan had been watching them on a screen on his vessel. He could read lips. "Miss Winters is now safely in the hands of Gatlin Tzvi. It would be more of a loss to try to take her from them at this point now. All the pink haired princesses in one place, how coincidental."

"Sir," another screen popped up next to the one he was watching now."

"What is it?" Donovan was slighting annoyed.

"We have it finished," the man on the other side spoke. "You wanted us to inform, when it was complete."

Donovan turned towards that screen. "It's finished? Good, good. Are you there now?"

"Yes, we wanted to show you the finished product," the frame moved away from him to show a mobile armor.

A shiny red ZGMF-X3000Q Providence ZAKU. It was shiny just like the ORB-01 Akatsuki Gundam. Donovan was in awe of all its glory.

"It's up to your specifications," the man's voice explained. "Optimized for speed and maneuverability in addition as this is your commanding unit to be twenty percent faster than regular suits. As for its counterpart, we haven't finished it yet. There are still adjustments meant to be made. It is synced up and ready to control from your suit but we just have to make sure it reads properly on the other end. The fleet is coming along well. We are still having trouble with Earth Alliance."

"Hm, if they don't want to budge at the moment, that's alright," Donovan explained. "They still have to get through the peace treaty signing whether they like it or not. I'll take care of that end. Just continue on with the rest of the planning." The guy nodded. Donovan was still eyeing the shiny red ZAKU. He was thinking about how perfect things are coming along. He glanced back to see the group was finally separating from one another.
