Kyle is currently in his room getting ready for his date with Jennifer and it's taking a while. Nothing that he puts on looks right. Sighing Kyle grabs his dark blue button down shirt and his black jeans, finally it's perfect... well almost perfect, sighing Kyle walks out to the lounge and sees Ricky and Brax.

"Well! Look at you Kyle! You look gorgeous." Ricky says causing Kyle to smile lightly but them drop his head.

"Hey Brax, can we look at the possibility of getting me contact lenses?" He asks.

"Yeah sure bud, how come?" Brax asks, Kyle had never brought that up before.

"So I'll look like less of a geek! If I continue to wear glasses Jennifer will eventually find out that she can do so much better than me." He says and Brax and Ricky look sadly at each other. The poor kid! He has no self esteem.

"Come here Kyle." Ricky says to him and Kyle walks over to Ricky to be pulled into a hug. She looks at him and smiles lightly.

"Do you know what I see when I look at you?" She asks.

"I don't know, a loser, a geek, a scrawny little weakling." Kyle shrugs. Brax frowns down at his hands. Even though his brothers bullies were locked away, it wasn't over yet. Kyle is so broken, how could those boys do this to him.

"I see a very handsome young man, who has a heart of gold. Kyle You're funny, you're so smart and we couldn't be more proud of you. We all love you and we can see how special you are. I think Jennifer could see it to." Ricky says to Kyle only for him to shake his head sadly. "Kyle you're gorgeous! Please never forget that! Besides Jennifer likes you, she told you so didn't she?"Ricky says to him. She moves his hair out of his eyes and smiles as she can see his deep brown eyes.

"Yeah she did, but what if she regrets her decision to go out with me, or changes her mind?" Kyle asks.

"She won't, she's a nice girl and by the sound of it she cares for you, Kyle the reason that you are thinking this way is all because of what those little jerks did to you. You'll soon see that none of it is true, you are loved and worth something." Brax says to his little brother.

Kyle nods his head lightly although Brax could see that Kyle didn't fully believe him. "Jennifer and her brother will be here soon, I've got to finish getting ready." Kyle shuffles off to his room so that he can finish off getting ready and just before he walks out the door he grabs the flowers that he has got Jennifer off his desk. He walks into thr lounge and sees all his family there.

"Aww look at you little Kylie!" Heath smiles as he goes over to his brother and ruffles his hair. Causing his younger brother to whack his hand away.

"Hey! Now my hairs a mess!" Kyle complains and tries to fix his hair but it's hard without a mirror.

"Come here." Bianca smiles as she grabs Kyle's wrist and pulls him over to the table so that he can sit down while she fixes his hair.

"How are you feeling Kyle?" Casey asks, his older brother looks a nervous wreck.

"I'm nervous! What if I say something geeky?" Kyle asks. He knows that he often does say some things that could be considered geeky.

"Kyle even if you do say something geeky, something tells me Jennifer won't mind, I saw the two of you together, it was adorable," Heath explains.

"Besides you are a little geek, and that's one of the reasons that we love you." Brax smiles as he pulls his brother into a soft headlock. They all call him a geek but they would never mean it in a vindictive way and Kyle knows that.

Suddenly there is a knock at the door causing everyone to turn to the shut door. Brax let's Kyle go and walks over to the door and opens it. It was Jennifer and her older brother.

"Hey Kyle!" Jennifer smiles at Kyle as she and her older brother walk into the house.

"Hey Jennifer, I got you these flowers." Kyle says blushing slightly as he hands them over.

Bianca and Ricky look at each other and smile, they both find this very adorable!

"Hey I'm Zack Wilson, I'm Jennifer's older brother. I hope you don't mind but Jennifer has told me about the trouble Kyle has gone through in school and I thought that I'd introduce myself so you know just who your little brother is getting a ride with. I can promise you that I will keep an eye on him. I had my own troubles in High School with kids who thought that it was fun to beat me up and make my life miserable." Zach says to Brax and Heath who is now standing beside Brax.

"Well firstly, I'm sorry to hear that and secondly thank you we really appreciate that, it was definitely a shock to find out as we didn't know it was happening." Brax replies.

"So I'm 24, have my full drivers licence with no demerit points, I'm not drinking tonight and have had no alcohol or drugs in the last 48 hours. Although I've never had drugs at all hahaha. I have my first aid certificate and a first aid kit in my car." Zach says only to be interrupted by his sister.

"Zach! You're talking too much!" She moans and covers he face slightly embarrassed, she really likes Kyle and her brother is embarrassing her.

"Sorry." He apologises blushing lightly. Jennifer often tells him that he is talking too much.

Brax and Heath smile at each other. This kid definitely seems like a good kid. "It's alright mate. It's nice to know our little brother here is in safe hands." Brax says as he pats Kyle on the shoulder.

"So we better go, the movie starts in about an hour and I want to make sure we are there early so that we can get a park and our food." Zach explains.

"No worries, we'll let you go. We will see you later on tonight." Brax says as he opens his wallet and hands Zach a 100 dollar note.

"No I can't, I'm more than happy to treat Kyle." He explains which confuses both Brax and Heath.

"Where does a kid your age get enough money to treat two kids to a day out?" Heath asks causing Brax to hit him. He is curious as well, but he didn't want to ask.

"Well I own my own company. I finished school at 17 got a scholarship to Harvard University in the United States. I studied for six years at Harvard and graduated at the top of my class with a masters degree in business. I came back here and opened my business. It's been going strong ever since." Zach explains.

Heath and Brax look at Kyle, this is exactly what he needed to hear. This kid is smart and he was bullied, and now he is a huge success. Both the boys hope that Kyle can see this connection and see that one day this could be him.

"Come on Jenny Benny." Zach says, he really wants to get going.

"Zach!" Jennifer moans at her brother, she can't believe how embarrassing he can be. He knows she hates that name.

Kyle smiles lightly at Jennifer. "Hey Jennifer, all older brothers have embarrassing names for their younger siblings. These guys call me Kylie." Kyle says smiling at her.

Jennifer laughs lightly at this and so does Kyle. It's not often that he can laugh about the name Kylie, but for some reason this time he can.

"Anyways, we better go." Zach smiles as he starts to walk out the door. Kyle and Jennifer closely follow him.

"Oi squirt! Have fun!" Heath smiles at his little brother as they wave goodbye.

"Awww how cute is that!" Bianca beams as the door shuts behind them.

"I hope he has a good day." Brax sighs as he looks out the window to see the car pull away. He trusts Zach but his brother has gone through so much and a part of him just wants to keep him sheltered from that.

"He will! Jennifer and Zach both seem lovely, he'll be fine." Ricky reassures her boyfriend. She pulls him away from the window and makes him sit in the couch.

Brax nods his head lightly. He knows Ricky is probably right but he's still worried, his little brother has gone through so much pain.

...

Kyle, Jennifer and Zach arrive at the movies and get their tickets and food. "So I'll sit a few rows behind you two, that way you can have your space." Zach smiles kindly at the two teenagers. "But no funny business." He jokingly warns Kyle, causing Kyle to smile but Jennifer to roll her eyes.

"Zach, you're so embarrassing!" She moans, but can't help but smile when her older brother smiles at her. He walks up the aisle and sits down in a seat in the last row.

"I like your brother, he's nice." Kyle smiles at Jennifer as they both sit down. He looks behind him at Zach and turns sadly back to Jennifer. "So he was bullied?"

Jennifer drops her head and nods lightly. "There were these guys, in his year at school, they would beat the shit out of him every chance they could get. They'd tease him relentlessly about being smart and they'd always humiliate him." Jennifer says replying to Kyle, she felt comfortable talking to Kyle about this, he himself is a victim of bullying, he'd understand her brothers pain and not judge him.

"Did he end up telling?" Kyle asks, Jennifer shakes her head.

"Teachers were walking by and they saw them beating him up, the kids all got expelled. " Jennifer explains. "After that things finally went up for Zach. He finally brought friends home, got himself a girlfriend, he even started playing basketball. He was no longer the little nerd who people picked on." Jennifer says. "I hope that can happen for you Kyle." She says.

"Yeah I hope so to, well apart from the basketball as sports are not my thing." Kyle says chucking.

"That's okay. You don't have to play a sport, what I'm pretty much saying is that now hopefully now you can now do whatever you want to and not be bullied." Jennifer smiles. "The way you were treated was horrible and it wasn't fair you didn't deserve any of it." Jennifer smiles, she leans over and kisses Kyle on the cheek, this causes him to blush.

"Oi I'm watching you!" Zach warns them both, this causes both of them to laugh lightly.

Just then the movie starts and they all settle down to watch.
