So I'm sort of participating in the Baby-sitters 100, which is 100 prompts to be written about the BSC characters based around one word. I'm not going to do all 100 with a weekly update. Instead I'm going to published these fifteen or so ideas that I scrapped from my story Snapshots since they weren't centered on everyone's adult lives. Some are client based, some are the BSC in high school and some are based on the parents. Then take a break and see if season 2 inspires me at all either.

Happy reading!

June 23, 2000 - Claudia's Bedroom

"You know what?" said Kristy. We should make a pact."

"What kind of pact?" asked Dawn.

"That in twelve years, when we're all grown up and out of college, we'll meet—the eight of us—and have a reunion. Then we can see what we're really doing."

"Where will we meet?" Abby asked.

"I don't know," said Kristy. "We can't decide that now. But we should write this up and make it official that on January first, twelve years from now, we will all call one another and plan a reunion, somewhere, for the eight of us on June twenty-third of that year."

June 23, 2012 - Rosebud Cafe

Kristy Thomas patiently checked her watch as she sighed. Lucas had dropped her off and she reminded him to pick up stuff for the twins. Molly and Conner, their foster children, were moving in tomorrow. They were still getting the spare room ready and needed a few things before the big day. Part of her really wished that she could move this reunion, but then again, she had the pact smoothed out in front of her. It was officially June 23, 2012. She had made the calls and was looking forward to who would show up.

The picnic table was splintering a little as she picked at the table a little. They were meeting at Central Park by the Alice in Wonderland statue. Since half of the club lived in New York it was just easier to meet here rather then in Stoneybrook.

"Kristy?" asked a voice from a pretty Asian woman in front of her.

"Claudia?" she said a little surprised to see that she was very very pregnant.

"Oh my gosh, it's been forever," said Claudia waving. "I'd hug you but that's kind of hard to do."

She gestured to her belly as a handsome young man helped her sit down at the end of the table. Kristy waved back smiled at her old friend.

"Hi Claudia," she said. "You look great!"

"Thanks! Or at least as pretty as I can be at eight months. This is my husband Zach," she said gesturing to the young man. "Zach this is Kristy, we used to be neighbors and friends for the longest time."

"Nice to meet you," he said with a friendly wave. "Go Mets."

Kristy pumped her fists remembering that she had on her favorite Mets shirt with paired with a pair of holey jeans. Ha, it was nice to see that Claudia's husband had a good choice in baseball teams.

"Best team ever," she said.

"Oh yea, alright, I'll be back," said Zach. "You girls probably want your girl time and I'm going to catch up with my sister. She wanted to do some baby shopping."

Claudia groaned at this but smiled any way. "Alright fine but send me pictures before you buy any kind of furniture or something. I have an aesthetic going."

Zach rolled his eyes, but they had a twinkle in them before he kissed her softly and headed out the front door of the restaurant. He told Kristy it was nice to meet her before heading out the door.

"He's cute," said Kristy making conversation.

"Definitely and you wouldn't believe how we met. My kiln for pottery caught fire and he helped me out of the building since he's a fire fighter. I went down to the station to give him a drawing I was working on as a thank you and he asked me out. I think it was love at first sight since we got married after only dating a year and a half or so."

"Claudia, you've only been dating him for a year?" asked Kristy a little surprised.

"Before you say I was impulsive, or anything let me remind you that your mom and Watson have been dating just as long."

Well she wasn't wrong, and Claudia and Zach were both consenting adults at only 26 years old. It wasn't like they were 18 and freshly graduated from high school. Kristy nodded and Claudia ordered a water.

"So who…"

"HI!" said Mary Anne racing in seeing the two next to each other. "Wow, it's forever since I've seen you guys!"

She gave each of them a side hug and sat down next to Kristy. Mary Anne smiled at her friends happy to see them. Her dark hair flying in her face as she sat down in a flurry.

"Wow, you look great Mary Anne!" said Claudia gesturing to her outfit. It was a cute floral short sleeve blouse tucked into a denim skirt. Her sunglasses sitting on her short dark hair cut into a bob and sandals on her feet.

"Thanks! You look great too Claud, and congratulations," she said, "I would have brought a gift if I knew."

"It's okay I have a lot going on," said Claudia grinning and shrugged her shoulders. Kristy looked over at her outfit and saw that it was much less wild then her clothes used to be. However, it was still a little dizzy looking with her off the shoulder dress in a zig zag pattern with all the colors of the rainbow on it.

"I'm glad that this is today. My house has been crazy," said Mary Anne. "Twins you know. I love Audrey and Olivia, don't get me wrong, it's just so much. My parents are watching them right now. Katherine is taking a nice long nap."

"So, any idea who is coming today?" asked Claudia.

"I got a rejection from Jessi," said Kristy. "She's in Paris right now getting ready for a performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream. I think she became the most famous out of all of us."

"Followed by me," said Claudia a little offended but a playful smile on her lips. "I happen to have my own gallery that makes some money."

"I think you're famous too," said Kristy. "Claudia and Jessi are the most famous from the baby-sitters club. As far as we know. I haven't heard from Abby, but I see Anna around town and she said that Abby's living in Europe."

"Lucky her," said Mary Anne. "I'm jealous of everything she gets to see and do. Can you imagine going to the Sagrada Familia in Spain or the Colosseum in Italy?"

"Maybe for the next vacation," said a voice walking over to them.

The three of them turned to see Stacey McGill walking over to them. A small smile on her face as she sat down next to Mary Anne at the round table. Her white blouse and dark pink work pants pulled together with her highlighted hair in a ponytail.

"Only you could do that," said Kristy teasingly. "Hi Stacey."

"Hi everyone," she said looking around at the table. "It's been awhile."

"Yea," said Mary Anne. "I think we were all at the high school reunion back at in 2009 remember?"

Yep, they remembered that. In fact, Stacey even helped organize it as the class treasurer back in high school. As far as that went, it had been three years since the reunion and Claudia and Kristy haven't seen Stacey since. They could hang out with her more though if they tried of course.

"It's good to see everyone," she said a bit awkwardly.

"I think this is everyone," said Kristy. "The only other person who said they would come is Mallory. She's not too far from here is she?"

"Well Boston isn't too far," said Stacey. "Maybe give her another fifteen minutes or so. What is everyone up to?"

They all started to talk warming up to each other again. Stacey and Mary Anne becoming particularly closer friends then usual.

"Hi," said Mallory settling in at their table. "How is everyone?"

With that they were off to lunch or wherever in the park they might go.
