Time for a spooky chapter.

It's funny how early Halloween starts in Bully, huh? You'd think that it would start a little later.

Of course, Christmas starts later. If you don't remember, it happened in Chapter 3, after Jimmy wiped the floor with the preps.

And no worries, a man wearing a mask won't show up and start killing teenagers. This isn't a horror movie.

Nobody ever dies in Bully. It's not like other Rockstar games. Though the setting is a bit dark nevertheless.

Of course, the reason I made my main protagonist a saint is because I'm NOT Rockstar.

Chapter 4: Halloween

Jessica woke up, feeling excited for Halloween.

Perhaps she would get some candy.

She happened to have a sweet tooth. Chocolate was one of her favorites.

She had dreamt about meeting the Grim Reaper...who turned out to be a fun guy to hang out with.

It was kind of weird.

But perhaps the Reaper wasn't as scary as people made him out to be.

It wasn't long before Zoe woke up as well.

She decided to talk to her roommate about the crazy dream that she had.

"I just had a dream where I got chased by a naked man wearing a pig mask." remarked Zoe.

The man had escaped from the Happy Volts Asylum. And he had a chainsaw!

Seemed the Happy Volts workers needed to keep a better eye on their patients. Some of them could be pretty dangerous.

"That sounds terrifying." remarked Jessica. Why was that man wearing a pig mask over his face, anyway?

"I know. It was exhilarating." noted the former townie.

"OK?" answered the blonde.

Personally she didn't think being chased by a naked man would be fun.

She already had perverts in her life, anyway.

"Maybe I could pull a prank on Mr. Burton this Halloween." noted Zoe.

"But he's already fired." remarked Jessica.

"You're right. Maybe he's been punished enough." answered the redhead.

Though it would be funny to make him mad.

"So, what are you going as?" asked Zoe.

"I'm going as an angel." noted Jessica.

It's what her mother always referred her as.

"Oh, there's an irony in that." explained Jessica's roommate.

"Huh?" asked the blonde.

"I'm going to put on a devil costume." spoke Zoe.

It was rather...sexy.

"Are you going to prank the principal?" asked Jessica.

"And risk getting expelled again? I don't think so." answered the girl who lived at Blue Skies.

Though it would be funny, she would admit.

Jessica noticed one of the students was wearing a black robe and hood.

They were also wearing a skull mask.

This person was very tall.

Nobody knew who they were. But Zoe knew their occupation.

"That's the new leader of the bullies." spoke Zoe.

They said he liked to strike fear in people's hearts.

Seemed appropriate that they would show up for Halloween.

"What happened to Russell?" asked Jessica. He was in charge of the bullies last year.

"He stepped down. Didn't feel like bullying kids anymore." noted Zoe. It was remarkable how Jimmy could change people. He even changed the school principal to some extent. Now he wasn't quite as oblivious as to what was going on at Bullworth.

"That's good." answered the blonde girl.

Jessica noticed that Mr. Galloway seemed upset about something.

It felt kind of weird given Mr. Hattrick was gone. It seemed Mr. Hattrick was the source of all of Galloway's misery.

So she decided to ask him.

"What's wrong?" asked Jessica.

Did one of the students leave a tack on his chair?

It wouldn't surprise her.

"It's just that students have a tendency to be mischievous this time of year." noted Galloway.

"I see..." answered the blonde.

It might be best if she kept an eye on her roommate to keep her out of trouble.

Wouldn't want to have to spend the night in her room alone.

"Is there anything I can do to help?" asked Jessica.

"Actually, there is. Ms. Phillips gave me a camera. She likes it when I take pictures of her...but you might find another use for it." noted Galloway.

Jessie was curious.

"If you see students performing mischief, take pictures and send them to me." noted the man.

Jessica liked the idea.

She did not have to go far to find misbehaving students.

Bullies were tagging how much nerds were lame.

Perhaps selling spray paint to the bullies wasn't such a good idea.

Perhaps if she got the bullies busted, maybe the nerds would respect her.

And maybe they would do what she told them to do, like give her privacy when she needed it.

So she took the pictures and handed them to Mr. Galloway.

She was careful not to draw the bullies' attention in the process.

Jessica was aware as to what the bullies did to kids that snitched on them.

It wasn't pretty.

"Bravo!" exclaimed the man who used to be a drunk.

As a reward, Mr. Galloway bought her a camera of her own.

Jessica wondered what she should do with it.

There was a photography class now that she thought of it.

It would be nice to leave campus every once in a while.

Especially since some of the students happened to be jerks.

"Did Mr. Galloway give you that?" asked Zoe.

Jessica nodded.

She didn't feel like becoming a snitch though.

Nobody seemed to like a snitch.

Though she would tell if a student was being naughty.

"He must like you." noted the redhead. Of course, he also seemed to get along with Jimmy. Jimmy even got him out of the Happy Volts Asylum. Coincidentally, one of the students at Bullworth Academy had been sent there as well. Personally she didn't mind Johnny.

"Well, I definitely prefer him as a teacher than Mr. Hattrick." remarked Jessie. Mr. Hattrick was a big fat jerk. And he helped the preppies cheat on tests too.

"Why did you decide to research the school?" asked Zoe.

"I was wondering why it went to a downward spiral. Perhaps I can help other schools not go down the same path. Although...it does seem better than it was the last few years." noted the blonde.

Algie approached Jessica's roommate.

"Hey Zoe! I figured I should warn you my friends are trying to scare you." noted Algie.

"I guess he wished to do me a favor by warning my friend." answered Jessica.

Seemed he remembered her sparing him from another pants wetting.

Suddenly, a nerd in a ghost costume attempted to scare Zoe.

"Booooo!" exclaimed the nerd.

But this didn't exactly work on the redhead.

"Is that the best you could come up with?" asked Zoe. She thought that the nerds were smarter than that.

Melvin sighed.

Perhaps they should have come up with something scarier.

Though Zoe didn't exactly scare easily, now did she?

The bullies seemed to find their spud guns scary.

But they needed to purchase some potatoes first.

Otherwise, how would they fire them?

The two of them went to the carnival.

There were a variety of prizes on sale.

Jessica decided it might be a good idea to come back later so she could win some of them.

It would be nice to decorate her dorm room.

Though Ms. Peabody probably would be picky about what she would allow in a person's dorm room.

One of the workers at the carnival disliked garden gnomes. She felt that they made fun of her.

Perhaps Jessica shouldn't use them to decorate her garden.

The freak show was exciting, to say the very least.

"Man, times like this makes me glad Bully: Anniversary Edition doesn't only take place at a school." remarked Zoe.

"Did you just break the fourth wall?" asked Jessica.

"I'm kind of rebellious." noted Zoe.

Jessica shrugged.

Perhaps she could try breaking the fourth wall some time. It didn't seem illegal.

She wasn't sure what she would say though.

They even saw a mermaid.

She was a beauty, to say the very least.

The mermaid didn't seem to mind her confinement, because she was blowing kisses at the audience.

Even Zoe.

Perhaps she could breathe above water though.

"I guess she's bisexual." noted Zoe.

"To be fair, you do act like a dude." remarked Jessica.

The former Townie chuckled.

It was true, she did.

The Townies liked that about her.

The two girls noticed Pete knocked out on the floor.

"Is that Pete?" asked Jessica.

"He must have passed out after seeing the mermaid." noted Zoe.

She was simply stunning.

And to think there was a rumor going around that he was gay.

He could be bisexual though. She wasn't sure.

"What should we do?" asked Jessica.

"We should probably get him back to his dorm." remarked the redhead.

Jimmy would be worried if Pete didn't return to Bullworth.

"I'm not sure I'm allowed in there." pointed out Jessica.

"You'll be fine. From what Jimmy told me, the prefects never go inside. Ever." explained Zoe.

Perhaps they got tired of the male students' shenanigans. Though the girls could behave badly as well. Mandy was an example of that, though she had mellowed out after the nerds humiliated her.

"Then I suppose it is safe." answered the blonde student.

Though she wondered why the prefects never went inside.

Were they tired of the boys' shenanigans? She knew that some of them could be rather unruly. Even Jimmy Hopkins had a bit of an unruly streak.

Some of them could be awfully mischievous.

Jessica took Pete back to the boys' dormitory.

Since the prefects never came inside, it seemed like the students could do whatever they wanted.

She still felt that she should stay on her best behavior though.

Afterwards, Zoe invited Jessica to vandalize Mr. Hattrick's house.

"Won't the police show up?" asked Jessica.

"In my opinion, that's part of the fun." answered Zoe.

"I don't know about this..." answered the girl.

Suddenly, they witnessed Mr. Hattrick take an ice cream cone from a child.

"That's mine!" exclaimed the child.

"Well, it's mine now." answered Mr. Hattrick.

"Alright, this might not be such a bad idea. I'll only stay for a few minutes though." answered Jessica.

The two of them went to Mr. Hattrick's house and started trashing it.

Jessica actually enjoyed giving him what was coming to him.

But she eventually decided to leave.

On the way out, her father saw her.

"Did she vandalize Mr. Hattrick's house? No, it couldn't be her. Mr. Hattrick is a kind man. She wouldn't do that to him." answered Jessica's father.

It was too bad he didn't know the truth about him.

But at least Jessica didn't have to worry about getting in trouble.

After heading back to the girls' dorm, Zoe thought up a way to get the nerds to respect Jessica.

There had to be a way.

As a side note, she had gotten brussel sprouts from the preps when she tried getting candy from them.

Seemed they didn't give candy to commoners.

She was tempted to throw eggs at Harrington House in retaliation, but Jessica probably wouldn't approve of that.

Suddenly, she noticed Russell.

"Oh, hey, Russell. What's up?" asked Zoe.

"Just flexing Russell's muscles!" exclaimed Russell. He was proud of them.

The huge boy always seemed to speak in third person.

Something told Zoe he didn't do well in Mr. Galloway's class.

But perhaps he wasn't at Bullworth to learn.

Now that she thought of it, hadn't Gary once made Russell fight Jimmy in a cage match?

He sure was a manipulative boy. It was good that he was expelled before he could do any more damage.

But perhaps she could come up with a similar plan to get the nerds to stop pestering Jessica.

It seemed like a good idea.

"Yes, this could work..." remarked Zoe.

She could be very smart when she wanted to be.

She didn't imagine herself as a nerd though.

People didn't compare her to Beatrice, after all.

Though perhaps it had to do with the fact that she did not attend Bullworth as long as the female nerd did, on account of her temporary expulsion.

As a side note, she wondered if she should go pay her Townie friends a visit.

However, she wasn't sure how they would feel about attending Bullworth.

They had done bad things to the school in the past.

Though they had mellowed out after Jimmy had beat Edgar at the chemical plant.

I hope you enjoyed this Halloween chapter.

You'll be seeing that cloaked figure later.

Who on Earth could it possibly be?

It could be anyone in the school...well, not really. Chances are it's not a nerd or a prep. But it could be a jock. Jocks like bullying nerds. Hence their revenge scheme to get back at the football players.

And yes, the mermaid is sexy. You'd think a member of the freak show wouldn't be pleasant to look at, but no. At least I think she's sexy. Though I wonder why she only wears starfish. Theoretically she'd be able to wear more.
