"Say, Penni, what's a dream of yours?"

"Mm? A dream of mine?"

Conversing with Y'shtola, Penni remarks her question with much curiosity, considering how out of the blue it had been. A dream of hers? She certainly finds herself spending a fair bit thinking on an answer, considering that for the longest time she felt the Warrior of Light didn't have time for dreams. Though, now that she's been able to pull the fractured pieces of her life together once more, perhaps she could dream of something, anything regardless of how lofty it may seem.

"Honestly… If I had to pick just one thing, I'd say a dream of mine was having my parents back, but that already came true… Frankly, I can't think of anything I really dream of, I have you, my parents, all our friends, my home, there's naught more I could want in life." The ginger miqo'te hums out, eyes fluttering closed for all of a few seconds as she momentarily gets lost in thought. Once they fall back open, she gazes across the meadow in front of her home, sunlight reflecting off the myriad of colorful flowers growing.

"Certainly not the response I was expecting, but a response fitting you fully. Should our ascian problem remain quiet for the foreseeable future, then perhaps… Perhaps we could plan the visit to Gyr Abania with your parents, and afterwards… What harm could there be in the two of us taking a small vacation to Doma, and Othard?" Y'shtola's suggestion certainly seems to stir something in Penni, who perks up visibly before looking to her girlfriend.

"A vacation? I can't say I've ever really been on one, so… That would be wonderful!" The cheery tone to Penni's voice shows her enthusiasm for the idea of a vacation with Y'shtola, the elder miqo'te grinning lightly at her partner.

"Splendid! We can discuss plans for said vacation alongside settling on a time to return to Gyr Abania with your parents, suffice to say these next few weeks shall be quite busy, but fortunately this time around it's a good sort of busy. Now, what say we make a trip to the Rising Stones, pay your parents a visit and formally discuss our first trip?" As Y'shtola falls silent Penni gives a slight nod in response, her bright smile not dampening any even with the prospect of discussing a no doubt painful visit to her home.

"Ahh… I will never cease to appreciate the mild cold of Mor Dhona, especially consider it's not nearly as cold as all of Ishgard." Penni idly hums out after giving a content sigh, Y'shtola chuckling lightly while walking along with her through Revenant's Toll.

"It's certainly a welcome change from the weather of Thanalan, I find myself fortunate I have not had reason to visit as of late, the desert heat is abysmal, and even Limsa's humid heat is less than ideal." Musing in response, Y'shtola leads Penni into the Rising Stones, a few familiar faces idly chatting amongst one another not far from the entrance.

"Ah, good afternoon Y'shtola, Penni." Greets Urianger, whose gaze falls onto the two miqo'tes while Thancred too looks towards them.

"Good afternoon to you both," Y'shtola says before gazing around and making note of a few missing faces she expected to see, "I see G'raha, Estinien, Alisaie, and Alphinaud are away, hmm? Important Scion business I wager?"

"Aye, they've gone to Paglth'an to do some in-depth research on the tower there, G'raha is determined to figure out how they draw aether from their surroundings, and the other three figured it best to accompany him, lest he get into trouble and be overwhelmed." A nod is given once Thancred falls silent, Y'shtola beginning to lightly tap at her chin in contemplation.

"Mm… New information on the towers would certainly be of benefit, given what little we know of them as is." A momentary pause, then she turns her gaze towards the door leading into Dawn's Respite. "And Tataru, Krile?"

"Currently in Dawn's Respite attending to Penni's folks. Krile says they're as healthy as can be now, no doubt thanks to her ministrations, they've oft been out exploring Revenant's Toll, something about not wishing to be cooped up for too long." Glancing back at Penni for a few moments, who is idly gazing towards the door into the Respite, Y'shtola nods, her smile continuing to remain calm and content.

"Come, Penni, I'm sure your parents would prefer to see you instead of potentially listening in to what we're saying." Penni's response is naught more than a simple nod, the ginger miqo'te trailing after Y'shtola into Dawn's Respite, where they bear witness to Tataru happily chatting up Lome'ra and Yusa while Krile sits nearby. Hearing the door open, they look towards Penni and Y'shtola, expressions brightening considerably fore long.

"Well now, good afternoon you two." Greets Lome'ra, who promptly hops up to his feet before giving Penni a firm hug, the embrace all too gladly reciprocated. "You both look quite well, what brings you here today?"

"Oh, you know… Just visiting you and mom, and, ah…" Pausing momentarily, Penni glances to Y'shtola, who simply gives her a nod as if to say 'continue'. "We want to, erm… Plan the trip to Gyr Abania, to visit our home." Both Lome'ra and Yusa nod in understanding as the topic at hand is finally brought up, their expressions remaining a calm smile.

"Hmm… Well, whenever you two would prefer, we're both ready and willing to travel home together. We don't have terribly many things keeping us at present, so whenever you two feel is best, we're ready." Yusa hums out, eyes falling closed for a few moments as she thinks ahead. "How about… In one week's time? Me and Lome'ra have started to make a name for ourselves with our crafting, that gives us time to finish up a few orders we've taken and set aside some free time."

"A week's time is perfect." Giving a nod as she speaks, Y'shtola looks to Penni, who is doing her best to remain wholly calm, even with the fresh anticipation of the trip. "Neither Penni nor I have anything coming up that would keep us away, and so long as no new primal threat surfaces, we'll be ready as well."

"Yeah, hopefully… Stupid primals…" Penni kicks at the floor lightly as she mutters to herself, her remark drawing out laughter from those gathered, especially Y'shtola, who knows all well how tired of primals and summoning her partner is.

"You really must regale us with stories of your trials and triumphs sometime, Penni, we'd both love to hear of the adventures you've been through." Hearing her father speak, Penni perks up slightly and turns her gaze to him, a few nods given before she looks to Y'shtola.

"Oh, sure, and 'Shtola has many stories she could share, honestly many of my adventures were with her, so her perspective of things might be better than mine…" Trailing off, Penni rubs at the back of her head lightly, Y'shtola merely smirking before turning her gaze towards the two elder Polendinas.

"Tis true, and knowing Penni she'd exaggerate parts of the story, lessen the danger or perhaps put herself in a better light, all things which I certainly wouldn't do." She remarks, Penni blushing a fair bit while continuing to rub at her head.

"Sounds like out daughter alright, always one to make her stories more exciting, but knowing what she's been through, I dare say even a simple retelling of her adventures would be exceptionally exciting." Lome'ra nods in agreement with Yusa, who smiles towards her daughter with a wider smile once done speaking, the younger miqo'te continuing to keep her gaze averted.

"It was great seeing you both, we appreciate both the visit and getting our trip home planned, we should get back to our orders if we want to finish before then, so we'll let you two get going." Lome'ra nods to the two as he finishes speaking, Y'shtola bowing towards him and Yusa slightly while Penni looks to them both and gives a nod of her own.

"Right, erm… Take care mom and dad, we'll… Probably come by again sometime before the trip to visit." With a simple response, Penni slips out of Dawn's Respite and begins making her way towards the door out of the Rising Stones, Y'shtola trailing close behind her while giving parting waves to Tataru and Thancred.

"That wasn't so hard now was it, kitten?" Once well out of sight of the Stones, Y'shtola poses an innocent question that is met with a huff from Penni, who lightly kicks at the ground before speaking.

"No, it wasn't… But I'm still not going to look forward to this trip… The sooner we get it over with, the sooner I can put it out of my mind and focus on better things…" Ending with a sigh, Penni kicks a stray bit of snow off her left boot, then resumes trekking forward and away from Revenant's Toll.

"But of course. Let us be off, I'm certain you'll feel much better once we're in the warmth of our home, no?"
