The cold, musty atmosphere suffocated the air. The castle was dead silent, with the occasional dripping of water or frightful creaking noises. The ambiance of the scene was interrupted by quick, muffled footsteps. Shreeky rushed down the castle quarters, almost tripping down the steps. She stopped right at the entrance of a room, where Beastly's hammock was situated. Shreeky huffed when she realized he was still asleep. She walked over next to the hanging bed.

He was peaceful, one arm swinging to the side of the hammock. Unfortunately for him, he was in for a rude awakening. Shreeky tapped him rapidly on the back. "Wake up furball!" "H-Whuh?" Beastly looked up and around, his fur sticking up everywhere. "Five more minutes..." She was just about to yell right at him before she spotted a bucket catching water leaking from the cracks of the ceiling- Obviously, the solution was to be an complete bastard- She snickered to herself and splashed the cold water onto his head. "Hey! Yikes!" "We have to get moving, No Heart's got something to show us and i'm not letting you get in the way of us finally getting those Care bears!" Beastly groaned. "I didn't need a bath for another 4 months!" He shook off the water like a dog, getting most of it onto Shreeky.

"This is the most powerful object I have the possession of." said No Heart, claws gripping onto the old, dusty book. Shreeky and Beastly were standing next to eachother, looking up at No Heart They looked on curiously at the book that No Heart was holding-

It certainly didn't look too powerful, although it was rather strange, adorning the look of a mask with Celtic symbols in the corners. It had a lock on the side. "This book holds the key that we can surely use to rid the world of caring." He stressed. "It'll surely get rid of those wretched Care Bears... Forever!" He cackled, as thunder clapped.

"What does it do, Uncle No Heart?" "Unfortunately, we won't know unless we have the key... You two are going to go get it from the Care Bears." "B-But why do the Care Bears have the key?" Beastly said. "I happen to know that this single book has almost caused the downfall of those nuisances- And that one of these bears, called Secret Bear-" He paused before saying her name, as if pondering that it's probably the only time he's ever said one of their actual names. "Holds the key. You'd better not fail me." "Of course, Uncle No-Heart" Shreeky laughed wickedly- "Cmon Beastly," She said, dragging him by his arm. "We /surely/won't let him down /this/ time" She said, shooting him an accusatory look. Beastly grinned nervously. "We've got a bear to catch." They stepped into the flying contraption that they had used so many times. "Hurry up!" said Shreeky.

Carealot was peaceful and quiet- There was no bear in sight. They were suddenly glad they got up so early. The sun had only started rising, peeking up from behind the clouds and splashing a multitude of colors across the sky. The cloudy floor reflected the colors and the scene was quite beautiful, that is, if you weren't currently being hauled away in a net by two minions of an evil wizard. Of course, they hadn't caught her yet- They were standing back at a distance, staring at a house in the distance.
