Ka-thump. Ka-Thump. The beat of horses hooves was fain, but becoming increasingly louder. "Citizens of Anadell! The emperor demands you turn over the last silver to be brought to the capital and put to justice!" A man in a purple coat bearing a silver dragon shouted, he and the rest of his horse-mounted followers brandishing shiny steel swords. As the horses slowed, and eventually came to a stop, villagers looked around. Finally, Heather, the village's mayor stepped forward. " Sir, we don't have the last silver. All the silvers were destroyed, long ago, in the battle of Essidil." Heather stated, eyebrow raised. "And surely you know that the legend of the one remaining silver is just a myth, right?" She added as an afterthought. "The emperor has been told that there is are silvers left, cleverly hidden among the midst of us. We must destroy them, before they can exact their revenge. " Oh, moldy towels. I need to get out of here. How did they even know I was here? Or did they just check all the towns in the kingdom? Oh well, first things first- get the heck out of here.

I started edging away from the crowd, inching backwards. Then, walking back towards my house. Unfortunately, my escape wasn't quite as smooth as I'd planned on it going. "Hey, hold it right there!" A guard, behind the man wearing the purple coat shouted. Oh. Oh crud. Increasing my speed, I started running. Soon enough, I was sprinting away from them, despite knowing I was at a major disadvantage to someone on horseback. I ran into my house, and grabbed a few items. A sword, one that my mother had left with me before she floated my down the river, and a backpack, pre-packed with clothes intended for my school's field trip. This isn't exactly your school trip, but unfortunately, we'll have to make due. I kept running, farther, and into the forest, and jumping over a few logs on the way. Fsssht. A stinging pain appeared in my arm, but I didn't look back. I kept my eyes focused on the road, trying to avoid tripping. Dang. I wish a tree would fall down or something. Anything to keep them from reaching me. Still running, I heard a strange sound. Crack. I paused to look back. Oddly enough, a large redwood tree had spontaneously just called over, directly behind me, blocking the horses. Shoot. All that did was confirm that I'm a silver.
