Title: One Sneaky Night

Manga: Sennen Meikyuu No Nana Ouji

Pairing: Messiah Reed and Titus Ram

Description: One night, Titus sneaked into the room of his greatest rival, the Prime Minister and genius detective—Messiah.

One Sneaky Night

Messiah has just fallen into a slumber after a stressful day.

Being the Prime Minister is definitely difficult. He needs to attend on Ewan's daily necessities to make sure that the new and young emperor is doing his duties properly. But seriously, how can Ewan do his works if the other Lords are being such kids with their shenanigans?

Titus is an exception, anyways.

Messiah knows from the very start that the filthy thief won't do anything good, but to actually see Lawrence, August, Gideon and Zan slacking off just to play with Ewan out of the palace's gate was something that the great detective failed to foresee.

After a day of prying all of the Lords away from the innocent emperor, Messiah has finally got his most awaited rest with soft pillows succumbing all over the bed. His breathing pattern is steady and calm, indicating that the detective's sleep is already deep.

Yet, an infiltrator arrived.

"Oi, I cannot sleep." Muttered by Titus who, in unknown ways, has entered Messiah's room through the window.

When the thief got no response from the detective, he huffed an irritated blow of air out of his mouth before reaching down to profusely poke Messiah's soft cheek, "Come on, Messiah. Give me some company tonight."

It is an irritating tune of whining. Messiah thought as he groaned, gaining consciousness as of what is happening. His lidded eyes begging to be closed again, but the continuous poking granted him nothing but misery.

"What the heck do you want?" Messiah scowled, slapping Titus' hand away from his abused cheek with an accompaniment of an exasperated grunt.

Then there came silence.

The thief gave him no response that he thought that the annoying man had already left him for good, but no; the sudden thud on the floor just confirmed the unwanted presence.

"I got a nightmare," Titus started which made Messiah to open his eyes out of shock. The thief sounded so distressed with that deep sigh of his. "And now I cannot sleep because I am—"

"Come here."

"Huh?" Titus was left in awe. Definitely, in awe. He didn't expect that. The words which left the detective's mouth is even shocking than what they have experienced on the thousand year's labyrinth—okay, that's a bit exaggerated already.

"I said," Messiah reached a hand to lazily grab Titus' arm, yanking the thief to the space beside him. "Come here."

A warm blush spread on the infiltrator's cheeks as he settled down beside the half-awake detective who is currently hugging him onto a sturdy chest.

"What the fuck are you even doing?" Titus said through gritted teeth, trying his best not to look at Messiah; because if he did, he would totally fall into a deep abyss of confusion. Not to mention that his heart is beating so erratically at the moment.

Messiah hummed as a response. His fingers are combing Titus' hair as if to soothe the thief without any more question. "Just shut up and sleep. I am so tired and if you want to sleep beside me then just say so."

That totally left Titus dumbfounded.

A huffed and then a hesitant hug—the thief buried his burning face on his rival's chest.

It might be hard for the both of them to admit, but this position definitely gives them comfort and assurance more than anything else.

"G' night." The thief said in a slurred manner, eyes closing completely which gave the detective's heart a slight tug.

Ah, what an infiltrator, indeed.

END.
