A/N: So, I warned you that there would be a time where this story ends. It's that time. The final chapter. And unfortunately, my brain spazzed and made it a short chapter. I hope you guys enjoyed the ride and will miss this little adventure. Enjoy.

OOOOOOOOO

Scarlet took a deep breath as she finished typing a message to the last person on her mind. She pressed "Send" and lowered her phone. Her eyes turned towards David when he held his hand out. Without questioning him, she placed the small device in his hand. He smirked, turned, and chucked the phone into the ocean.

"That's that," Scarlet commented, shoving her hands into the pockets of her leather jacket. "No one will know where I went or what I'm doing or how to find me anymore." She sighed. "You won."

"You say that like it's a bad thing," David said, almost sounding hurt.

"Well, maybe I didn't want you to win so easily," Scarlet told him with a soft smile. "I could have put up more of a fight, but when you're right, you're right."

David smirked and he put a cigarette to his lips before wrapping his arm around her. "So, what are you thinking about you're new life now? Got any big plans?"

Scarlet smiled. "I think I saw some boys I would like to rough up a bit."

"Oh really?" He chuckled. "Look who thinks she's all big and bad now that a little exchange has been made."

The Goth elbowed him in the side and knew that he really felt it this time. "You hush your mouth. I am big and bad now." She waved a hand over his head. "Except I'm rather short compared to you. So I'm small and bad now."

"I wonder how far the bad in you goes," David murmured, eyes smoldering as he looked down at her.

Scarlet looked away. Her body wanted to blush, but she couldn't do it anymore. "Wouldn't you like to know?"

"I'm sure I'll find out," David teased, lips grazing her ear. "I've got all of eternity to mess with you now, Lost Girl."

Scarlet let out a growl and he chuckled. Her eyes scanned the world around them as they walked, taking in the sights that had suddenly become so familiar. There were voices in her head – new ones, welcome ones.

She heard giggling and her eyes landed on Felicia, standing with the other three Boys. Her blue eyes held a new life to them. The blonde smiled at Scarlet and bounced on her toes in excitement. It was obvious she didn't regret her decision either.

Scarlet smiled back at her friend and then looked up at David. He gestured at something with his eyes and took a drag on his cigarette.

The girl looked in that direction and saw a group of people she could appropriately call idiots. Her stomach tightened and her gums ached. She looked back at David and he smirked.

When everything settles for the night…

Scarlet nodded and slipped her arm around him. He whistled to his Boys and they headed off into the crowd on the boardwalk.

"So, when are we going to be able to call you by your real name, Scarlet?" Paul asked, walking behind her.

"Yeah, it's not like you have to hide anymore," Marko agreed, swinging hands with Felicia. "And honestly, you could do better than 'Scarlet'."

"Way better," Dwayne commented, holding Felicia's other hand. "Maybe you could pick something other than a color if you need a different name."

Scarlet sighed. "Does it really matter that much to you guys what I go by?"

There was a resounding "yes" from the group.

"My dearest, I would love you by any name," Felicia promised with a warm smile. "I just want you to be happy."

David rolled his eyes. "It's not like you hate your real name, right?"

Scarlet stopped walking and Paul ran into her. The group turned to look at her and she stared ahead without seeing. "You know what? Yeah. Yeah, I do hate my real name. It's tacked to years of abuse and trauma. It's part of a life that I no longer am involved with. It's about damn time for me to give that name a proper burial and move on."

The Boys let out a cheer and Paul clapped her on the shoulder.

"What would you like us to call you then, my dearest?" Felicia asked, looking excited by the possibilities.

Scarlet looked up and saw the full moon. It looked so much more beautiful, now that she was seeing it with clearer eyes. She took in the stars and the beautiful night sky above. Her thoughts swirled in her head and then her answer came.

"Callisto," she said, once more looking at the Boys. "After one of the moons of Jupiter."

"It's also one of the helpers of a goddess," Dwayne commented.

Marko rolled his eyes. "Nerd."

The Goth looked at David. "Is that all right with you?"

David stared her down. "Does it make you happy to be called Callisto?"

"Yeah?"

"Then that's what we'll call you," David stated, coaxing her into walking again. "And Callisto, your new life begins tonight."

"What about me?" Felicia asked, pulling Dwayne and Marko along with her.

"You too." David's eyes burned in the darkness. "Welcome to the fold, Girls."

A/N: Lackluster ending, but I am all spooned out for this story. I tried to make the story as a whole something to be remembered and enjoyed on a Sunday afternoon. Let me know what you think. And as always, thank you. -Scarlet
