The dream

St. John says: "Jane, just thinking about it, if you can do to India with me, there will be much more things you can do than being a teacher. He is only the past, you are young, you should focus on the bright future! Trust me, Jane, be my wife, our marriage will be blessed by god."

Having lived with John for several months, Jane is grateful for his help and she knows John is a talented and reliable man, being with him won't be bad. She knows clearly that in her mind, St. John can't compete with Rochester, and St. Jonh doesn't really love her, however, since she decided to leave Rochester, she had determined to look for her new happiness, maybe now St. Jonh is the best and only choice. After thinking for a long time, Jane said: "I agree with you."

So they decide to get married and do to India soon, they prepared for these things seriously, waiting for the day of marriage to come.

One night, Jane falls asleep and has a dream. She meets with Rochester and they are both very happy. Suddenly, Rochester changes his face, says to Jane: "Save me! Jane! I'm in danger, only you can save my life!" Jane wakes up in terror, finds that it is just a dream, but she can't calm down, this dream lets she know that she can't forget Rochester, and she is truly worried about Rochester's safty now. She leaves a paper with her words for St. Jonh and sets up for thornfield immediately. As she arrives there, she found that it is in a fire, she hurries into it, shouting: "Rochester! Where are you!" After several times, she hears the sound of him. Following this sound, Jane hurried into the room where Rochester is, she takes a bucket of water, pouring to the fire infront of Rochester, helping him to get a way for escaping, she holds his hand, rushing out of the building. Unfortunately, when they are going to leave the building, a burning wood falls and blocks the way from the door to outside, they have no possibility to escape.

Jane says to Rochester: "I'm sorry for leaving you, I'm sorry for not saving you successfully." And then she tells Rochester her dream. Hearing this, Rochester is moved, says: "I can see you again, it is my biggest luck, it's enough, I can't be with you when living, but now I can finally be with you." They hug each other tightly, kissing, until the whole building is burn out.
