Beatrice Flynn marched into the labs of PFD Technologies. Specifically to a room guarded by a pair of hi-tech Talos robots. "Let me in." She said sternly to the robots.

"Negative. We have strict orders to keep this lab under guard due to the sensitive-"

"Open. The door." Beatrice said as she held out a pass card. "Now either let me in to talk to her. Or you're going to have to make a trip to the maintenance bay. Again."

The two Talos robots looked at each other. "It isn't worth being destroyed again." The second Talos said.

"You may enter." The first Talos said the two robots stepped aside, allowing Beatrice to enter the lab. She made her way past scientists going about their work. Eventually, she got to an isolated cell.

She entered this cell... and was surprised to find her friend Mathew entertaining the cell's only patient. Jennifer Amberwall, lying in bed under the sheets and hooked up to a myriad number of devices. "What the?!- Mathew? How did you get in here?"

"Oh like it's hard to sneak past those tin men," Mathew said. "Now if you'll excuse me I have a very depressed girl to entertain." He said as he got back to his sock puppet show.

Beatrice was still confused as to how Mathew got into the cell. "Regardless, Jennifer... I want to apologize-"

"For slowly turning me into a robot?" Jennifer said. "It's okay Bea... really. I know I was really upset with you when the arm started eating me on... well, you-know-where." Beatrice was baffled by this display of understanding. "You wanted to make up for breaking my prosthetic and wanted to keep it from happening again. And you didn't think that there would be any consequences to grafting your arm to mine." Jennifer explained as she raised her robotic arm. Previously her left hand had only gone up to her elbow.

However, since the Battle of Nidavellir, the nanobots that comprised that hand had gone up to her arm, assimilating the flesh into more nanobots that comprised Beatrice and the rest of the BEA-Droids.

"So... have the scientists given you any kind of diagnosis?" Beatrice asked anxiously.

"Well as long as I'm not overstimulated... I should be Human for another month or so, last I heard." Jennifer said. "Till then I'm not even allowed to move without at least four of those Talos bots guarding me... you know, it's nice that your dad takes my safety so seriously."

"And that's because it's my fault you're losing your humanity!" Beatrice yelled. "For crying out loud... I could've just asked my dad to make a new arm for you! But no, I just had to fix it myself." She ranted as she went to throw off Jennifer's sheets. "And now, thanks to that short-sighted bit of charity, your turning-" She then threw off the sheets... and was shocked by what she saw. "...your... your turning into me."

Jennifer's legs had turned into exact replicas of Beatrice's. Complete with matching socks and shoes. "Yeah... I'll be honest. It's the thing that's actually scaring us."

Beatrice stuttered in surprise for a moment. "Us?!"

Mathew just rolled his eyes. "Jennifer, I thought we were going to make the announcement AFTER you were let out!" Mathew said in annoyance. "Okay... to make a long story short. We're... sweat on each other."

Beatrice then felt something explode in her head. "I thought I had my logic processor removed after the last time it exploded. What do you mean? Are you dating?"

"Well... it's not really dating. I mean I haven't left this room since Earth was liberated." Jennifer clarified. "It's more that he comes in, shares my meals with me. Talks to me... it's more bonding than dating but. Well, we've gotten to know each other better and... well we're now better friends than before."

"Does. Not. Compute." Beatrice said in bewilderment. "Nothing about this situation computes." She then looked at Mathew. "How did you get past the guards? Why are you even bothering with helping Jennifer? For crying out loud, Jennifer you tried to give him a wet willy after you first met!"

"We were younger people then," Mathew said with a deep voice. "We were but children trying to find our way. Prideful and foolish in our ways. But the horrors of war... plus everything beforehand. Has softened our hearts. It is not required that you understand our trains of thought. Only that you know of how they end." He said melodramatically. "So yeah, we're an item. Never would have thought possible back then either. Also congrats for finally sealing the deal with Daniel."

Beatrice felt exhausted and confused. "I... is there anything I can do to keep you from turning into me?"

"If there were a way to punch it, slash it, crush it, blast it, or give it a nice warm hug. I would've asked sooner." Jennifer said.

"Jenny," Mathew said sternly. "Can't you see that Bea's in enough of a tizzy as it is?"

"I am going to look for Jessie," Beatrice said as she left the cell in a daze.

Beatrice wandered around Danville looking for Jessie. Eventually finding her at a restaurant. "Jessie? What the heck are you doing here?"

"Oh... Bea. Well, this is actually a bit of a story." Jessie said.

"Does it explain why you're in an evening gown and your hair is styled?" Beatrice said, noting the green evening dress that Jessie was wearing, and that her red hair was styled with curls.

"Well, that's related to why I'm here," Jessie said.

Then without warning, a large blue-skinned teenage BEA-Droid sat across from Jessie. "I'm sorry I took so long... that bathroom was dangerously under-maintained. So it took a while to " The unnamed blue android said.

Jessie looked awkwardly at the bewildered Beatrice. "So... Beatrice this is Krishna Tjinder, BEA-Droid Zeta. Krishna this is Bea, BEA-Droid Alpha."

Beatrice was utterly baffled by this development. "WHEN?! WHY?! WHO?! HOW?! WHAT?!" She spluttered.

"I was created a week ago. My father and mother, Baljeet and Ginger Tjinder were interested in having a BEA-Droid child. Your father lent him a QAF. I was made with genetic material from my parents... no idea what to say to fill in 'what' however." Krishna said at length.

"This... this has been a weird day for me," Beatrice said. "Mathew is going steady with Jennifer. And not only do you have a boyfriend... but he's a NEW BEA-Droid." She said in exasperation. "I'm going to go home. Feel free to leave me alone." She said as she flew off, leaving a giant hole in the ceiling.

"Is she always that temperamental?" Krishna asked.

"Some days are better than others. Personally, I think she's just upset that we aren't spending as much time together as we used to." Jessie said.

Beatrice returned home, muttering under her breath. "Rough day of cheering up friends?" Beauregard chimed.

"Scrap you, Bo," Beatrice said as she punched Beauregard in the shoulder. She marched down to the basement and picked up a book. "Take me away, literature... take me away from the madness." She said to herself as she started to read.

Then an alarm went off. "Bea... I understand that you're stressed-"

"No... I'm taking the evening off." Beatrice said in annoyance to her Cricket AI. "I just want to detox after everything I've seen today... I know my friends have their own lives but come on. At least keep me in the loop!" She grumbled as she tried to read her book.

The following morning, Beatrice called her boyfriend Daniel. "Hey, Bea... it's kind of early."

"Daniel, were you aware that Jennifer and Mathew were dating? And that Jessie got a new boyfriend... and said boyfriend was a new BEA-Droid that I was unaware of?" Beatrice said. "I'm sorry for calling you about something so petty but... look I just wanted to make sure my friends were okay, but then it turned out they were but in ways that frankly drove me up the wall by the sheer-"

"Bea... it's good that you want to help everyone." Daniel said calmly. "But... well everyone's got their own lives. I understand that your frustrated that nobody told you these things beforehand... seriously, even I didn't know that Jessie is now dating a robot and I'm one of her oldest friends. You'd think she'd tell me first at least."

"And Jennifer... she's not only turning into a robot... she's turning into a copy of ME!" Beatrice said.

"Okay, I'm not going to lie... that's a little creepy," Daniel said.

"And it's my fault... and I can't understand why she's being so calm about it!" Beatrice wailed.

"Yeah, Jennifer always was odd. Even before we knew that she had a prosthetic. But I'm sure your dad can figure something out to help her." Daniel said.

"I just want to protect the people I care about." Beatrice lamented. "And... what happened to you guys at Nidavellir-"

"Bea... honey. You're an amazing girl, and you've got the biggest heart of anyone I know." Daniel said reassuringly. "But even you can't save everyone. Nor should you be stressing about what your unable to do."

"I know... but I've been at this for so long that helping people is burned into the very core of my being," Beatrice said anxiously. "It's not something I can just turn off... well I used to. But thanks to a certain twin brother I can't just turn off my emotions anymore."

"You might need to go to Dr. Metro's again," Daniel said.

"I probably do... but I need to do something first," Beatrice said.

Amanda Johnson opened the front door. "Bea? What are you doing-" Beatrice then hugged the young half-vampire.

"Amanda, I'm so sorry that I outed you as a blood-sucking creature," Beatrice said regretfully. "I was upset that you sold details of my personal life. I wasn't thinking..."

"Well... I'm sorry for not talking to you during the War for Earth. Or pulling my weight... or even apologizing on my own about that whole thing." Amanda said apologetically. "And... well all my friends ditched me just because I'm part vampire. But you were right, if my friends couldn't handle all of the weird things in our family then... well they weren't really my friends." She said as she hugged her robot cousin. "Bea... your one of my oldest friends. And I've done nothing but ignore you since High School started-"

This conversation went on like this with the two girls for at least an hour. With the cousins exchanging apologies while sobbing uncontrollably.

"I'm glad that you two have finally reconciled. But Bea... don't you have somewhere to be?" Candace asked.

"Fair enough," Beatrice said as she wiped some tears from her eyes. She then flew off for her next destination.
