The battle was a tiring one. Frey stood on top of the building at Leon Karnak, trying to catch her breath. Sano and Uno, the fox spirit statues challenged her to a battle and if she defeats them, the final guardian would be her prize. Throughout the battle, Frey used her trusty Strong Stone hammer to attack, as well as some healing rune abilities for endurance and her favorite attack rune ability, Millionstrike.

The two wolf spirit statues threw quite a challenge at her, using their magical fire balls and water rays at her in order to guard the prize. She'd defeated the blue-clad statue with ease and then lashed out one final Millionstrike ability at Sano, causing both statues to disappear into the night. Frey sighed, exhausted. "Is that good enough proof?" She asked in between breaths.

"Brave one...we have been waiting for you." She heard Uno's voice begin. Sano continued, "Wise one...we have been longing for thine arrival here." They then began finishing the other's sentences. "Thou must...free the Guardians. Thou must...save the Divine Dragon. We doth have faith...in thine happy future." Frey smiled, healed herself once more, and headed down the steps on the right of the fox head-shaped tower.

Down the stairs awaited her final battle against the Sarcophagus. It was seemed to be a miniature version of the Leon Karnak tower with miniature fox spirit statues on top. Frey braced herself as the Sarcophagus floated towards her. She defended herself against its attacks consisting of light rays, fire breathing, comet throwing, and missile shooting.

With each time the Sarcophagus teleported to dodge her attacks, she grew more irritated. With great finality, she defeated the Sarcophagus to reveal the body of Leon.

These were only a few of the hardships Frey had to endure in order to find the final Guardian.

After her ride home atop Ventuswill, Frey recognized Leon's standing form. It seems he had been waiting for Venti and his savior at her roofless room. Frey allowed Venti and Leon to have a small chat, seeing that they obviously needed to catch up. She giggled when the Divine Dragon thanked Leon and only received a smug "It was my own decision." After his reunion with Venti, he then turned towards Frey and thanked her for saving him.

Frey nodded, returning his own line to him. "I mean, you both were only lucky that I decided to save you." She grinned. Venti humphed triumphantly at this and looked at Leon. He tried to hide a smile behind his stern face, but quickly gave up.

"Oh, I see how it is, Earthmate." He began. "Anyway, I should rest after an insanely long slumber. My whole body's feeling numb." He finished, giving his legs a shake to get used to using them. "I'll see you both tomorrow." He then left the castle, on his way to the nearby inn owned by Lin Fa and her daughter.

Ventuswill turned towards Frey. "You deserve my utmost thanks. Leon may not have shown it, but he is grateful to you as well. You deserve a good rest after your battles." She then nuzzled Frey on the nose and laid down on her pedestal.

Frey headed towards her room to sleep and heard Venti finish, "Just know that the town is plenty grateful towards you as well, my hero."

Exhausted, Frey changed into her nightgown and went to bed. She'd make sure to tell her best friend about the events that unfolded tomorrow. She didn't know that her rest would last well into the afternoon.

Several panicked knocks on the door shook Frey out of her sleep. With heavy eyes, she sat up in bed and ran a hand through her hair. She sighed loudly. Before she could stand, the impatient knocks came back louder and quicker than before. "Coming!" She called out.

She then heard a relieved sigh from outside her room. She knew who this belonged to and smiled. She swung her legs over the side of her bed, neatened her nightgown, and headed to open the door. There stood a very concerned looking Dylas, who was her closest friend since his rescue, thanks to her.
