Star Butterfly looked around the now destroyed Realm of Magic. Looking behind her she saw the well to Mewni. She took a deep breath before running away from it. The strong waves made running across it harder to move.

"Surprised to see you here," Glossaryck said still floating the same spot where they left him.

"I'm going to live on Earth," Star said quickly and bluntly.

"Interesting choice," Glossaryck looked over to a nearby well. Star turned to face it. "Well if you really want to go you better hurry."

Star looked around and saw many of the wells starting to close. The dead magic splashing as it hit the rest. Not having time to waste, Star ran towards the well. Dodging all the waves she could. As she approached the Earth one she saw it beginning to loosen up its grip on the entrance. Star jumped into it. She felt herself being lifted up out of the realm before landing on hard concrete.

"Star?" Star looked up and Marco standing over her.

"I made it!" Star cheered. She stood and the ground started to shake. Stumbling a bit she made her way to Marco.

"What are you doing here?" Marco asked grabbing on her to arms. He pulled her closer to him.

"I want to stay here with you," Star said embracing him tightly. "I love you."

"I love you too," Marco held her tight. The ground shook hard than ever. Both felt a strange tingling sensation in their cheeks. They kept each other close as they were pushed forward. Marco held Star tighter and she did the same.

A few moments later Star awoke. Looking around she was still on Earth and laying on a stretcher. She could see a later creator where Britta's Tacos used to be. Oskar and Sensei were speaking to a bunch of news crews. She slowly rubbed her eyes and turned her head around. She saw Angie and Rapheal leaning over Marco. With Mariposa in a sling across her father's chest.

"Now that's what a real family looks like," Star thought to herself with a smile.

"Star?" Marco asked turning. "Star you're still here?"

"Of course I am." Star smiled. "Like I said I want to stay here on Earth with you. I belong here. Why are you all staring me?"

"It's just," Marco paused for a moment. "The little hearts on your cheek are gone."

"Huh." Star placed a hand on her cheek. "Must be a side effect of magic being gone. It will just take a little bit to get used to."

"I guess so." Marco stretched out his arm. "So I guess our adventure ends here."

"It's not a bad thing." Star laughed and grabbed Marco's hand. "Now we have our happily ever after."

25 years later...

"Morning sweetie," Marco said as he walked into the kitchen. "You're up early."

"Trying out a new smoothie recipe," the young girl said. She was tying her long strawberry-blond hair into a ponytail. In front of her was a bunch of fruit, a cutting board, and a blender.

"You're going to have more than that right?" Marco asked walking over to the coffee maker. He grabbed a coffee mug and started to fill it up.

"Yes," she sighed and rolled her blue-grey eyes. She started chopping the fruit in front of her.

Marco smiled and took his mug from the coffee maker. He grabbed a plate and a bagel. Placing the bagel in the toaster he sat by the table.

"Where's your brother?" He asked before taking a sip.

"Probably sleeping." The girl turned away from her chopping and yelled. "Artemis get down here!"

"In a few minutes," he called from his room.

"Get down here before your breakfast gets cold!"

"I ain't having one of your disgusting smoothies" His sister started to walk over to the room. Marco stretched out his arm and looked at her. She turned around and went back to her chopping.

"Artemis come down here please."

"Okay," Artemis said admittedly a little weakly. He walked downs, in his normal hoodie and jeans. In one arm he was holding a rather thick book that he placed on the table. He pushed some of his dark amber-colored hair out of his face. He walked over to the fridged and look in it.

"It's there any food in here?" he asked looking through it.

"I'm going grocery shopping tomorrow." Marco took a sip of his coffee. "There's bagels for now."

"I can go!"

"No way Harmony," Artemis said sticking his tongue out and sounding a bit. "I won't survive a week on your strange food."

"It's called keto." Harmony started pushing the fruit into the blender.

Artemis kept his tongue sticking out and shuddered a little. When his dad's bagel was done he put his own in. Harmony meanwhile was slicing up some avocado. Artemis took his bagel out and walked over to the table. He spread the cream cheese on it. As he ate he looked at his book. It was a hardcover and rather thick. The cover was outlined in bright gold. With a picture of a group of teens on it. Written in silver letters were the words, Callum Carpenter and the Golden Unicorn. He had read the enter Callum Carpenter series many times but he never tired of them. There was something about the world filled with magic that felt unbelievable to him.

"Dad, you met a unicorn one right?" Artemis asked. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Harmony roll her eyes.

"Well, yes and no," Marco said placing his coffee mug down. "While they were unicorns, they were called Millhorses but they were the same thing. Your mother was also friends with flying unicorn heads."

"Wow." Artemis's eyes grew wide. He thought about coming face-to-face with a unicorn. It was almost too magical to describe.

"Welp he should clean up and get going," Marco said standing up. He picked up his plate and put it in the dishwasher. Artemis and Harmony followed suit. Harmony went up to her room and started applying makeup. Artemis packed a few things into a backpack, including the book he was reading. He ran downstairs where Marco was waiting. A few minutes later Haromy walked down. The three went into the car with Marco and Harmony in the front and Artemis in the back. Artemis continued reading his book until falling asleep after a little while.

"Artemis," Harmony said looking at the back seat. Artemis didn't respond. Harmony took a deep breath and turned towards Marco. "Dad, when are you going to tell him?"

"Tell him what?" Marco said still focusing on the road.

"Tell him the truth about magic. How all those stories about Mom being a princess from another dimension with a magic wand aren't true. How you two never went on adventures and fighting all sorts of bad guys. Then somehow she supposedly uncovered some weird conspiracy about her family history leading to essentially a genocidal manic coming in wanting to kill half the population of her home. Which led to Mom destroying magic. "

"Harmony all those stories true," Marco said firmly. He glared at Harmony a little.

"Sounds like something out of Artemis's book collection." Harmony gestured to the book as it fell out of Artemis's lap. "He's fourteen Dad you need to tell eventually."

"Sweetheart as crazy as it may sound but all those stories really did happen," Marco told her sweetly. He reached over and stroked her hair a little. "Trust me."

Harmony sighed and stared out the window. A few later they turn on the exit she had seen many times. Immediately she reached into the back and shook Artemis awake. Slowly he opened his eyes. Looking down he gasped seeing his book on the floor. Dusting it off as he picked it up. Soon they reached a sight very familiar to the three of them. It was a large grey manor. Vines covered a majority of its outer walls. In front was the sign the read in faded letters Madame Leone's Home for the Depressed.

Slowly the three walked in. Artemis moved closer to Harmony who wrapped an arm around him. They came to the front desk where Marco checked them in. The elder lady stared at them firmly before typing something in. When she was done the walked started walking upstairs. The walls were decorated with bright paintings and the halls were full of flowers. Soon they reached a dark red door. The kids stepped in front of Marco and opened the door. Sitting in an old chair staring out the window was a familiar-looking woman. She didn't seem to notice the door opening or didn't care. Carefully they walked in and approached her.

When they got close enough the kids said, "Hi Mom."
