By the time I got out of the shower there was an outfit on my bed- you know what it's not even an outfit. It's lingerie and body jewelry. You know you'd think they'd just hire a dancer. For all they know I could be as stiff as the pole. But I take it with their mannerisms clearly no one wants to work for him.

"Darlin' so nice to meet ya! I'm Darlene!" A lady with a heavy jersey accent said storming in. "Ummm, hi-" I mumbled clutching my towel to my chest. Does anyone here know any type of human decency at all. "Oh what's wrong, you don't like the outfit I made ya? I made it special just for you! Well just for the boss," she said winking, "Why haven't you tried it on," she said, seemingly offended. "Well I uh... I don't have anything to put over it..." I said to which she frowned, "Well duh, that's the point! Now get dressed, I'll be back in five minutes. We need to fix ya hair." she said touching my wet curls. I just nodded which apparently was suffice seeing as she left. I sighed and fell back onto the bed, staring at the ceiling, a part of me hoping it would collapse on me. Maybe then I could still die with my dignity. After a minute or so I sat up because hey, I'd like to be covered as much as I can by the time this lady gets back. Or else who knows, maybe she'll strangle me with the gold chains dangling from the bra. Now hey, I know I got a nice body and there's more then enough to show off. But that doesn't mean I know how too. And if I plan on escaping with my life, I gotta. Just then there was a knock at my door, "It's Darlene baby!" At least she had the decency to give me a warning this time. "Come in," I shouted only to be greeted by bottles of stuff that would probably make my hair fall out. "What's all this?" I said with obvious hesitance. "Well it's part of the costume darlin'! Come on I'll even let you pick a color!" Fuck.

"Oh baby you look stunnin'," Darlene said more proud of me than my own momma it seems. "Babygirl, your the icing on top of the cake!" She said walking up behind me in the mirror playing with my brown hair, now littered with cotton candy pink streaks. "Thank you, Darlene," I said forcing a smile, though this time it was a teeny bit more genuine. I mean hey, who doesn't love being treated to a free hair makeover. You look like a bratz doll. Hey at least I ain't the only one. "Darlene... I've ugh..." I stuttered a bit trying to find the words, "Oh spit it out!" She said rolling her eyes. "Well I've never danced..." I said avoiding her gaze. "Oh baby I can tell," she said pursing her lips, "But don't worry. The boss picked you for a reason. Hey, he got a thing for corruption and wouldn't you just be perfect!" she said pinching me cheeks. I laughed, smiling. This lady is on shrooms. "Well then baby, I guess my job here's all done," she said with a bit of a pouty face. "Well if all goes well, hopefully you'll see me again. If not... well, give the next girl my regards." Darlene just laughed manically as if that was the funniest joke she'd heard in... well ever. "You'll do fine doll!" was the last thing I heard before I was left alone again with my thoughts. And by the way this outfit fits... my insecurities. I didn't have much time though to bash on myself though seeing as frosty walked in, though he had enough respect to not look anywhere but my eyes. "We're leaving." He said simply and stood there. I frowned and then realized he was waiting for me to leave. Right, I'm a hostage.

I gulped walking into the club. I wasn't even dancing but that didn't stop the perverted looks I got. Frosty walked behind me and gestured to a hallway. "You'll meet the other girls over there," he said to me causing me to frown. I was about to ask why I was needed if there's other girls but the look he gave me told me not to waste anymore of his time. I pursed my lips nodding and walked over to the back only to be greeted by glares from girls way taller than me, in heels bigger than my head. "Frosty sent me back hear to meet ya" I said leaning on one foot, arms crossed, faking as much confidence as possible. "Why her?" "She's not gonna last?" "Darlene got to yuh huh?" were the variety of things I heard as I faced them. One of the girls with dark purple, straight hair walked over to me and crossed her arms. "Come on. Googly eyes will be here in a bit." I frowned, "Googly eyes?" I said questioningly. Only causing the girls to look at each other and laugh, "The one your dancing for. He's a regular here and we take it Joker figured what better to get his attention than a shiny new toy." One of the girls in the corner said shrugging. "What does the boss want from ummm... googly eyes?" I said to the girl in the corner, "Power. Guns. Money. Some more hair dye? I dunno." She said shrugging walking out. I frowned thinking I offended her. "So what stuff he give you?" the dark haired girl said leaning against the counter. "What I'm wearing? I'm pretty sure Frosty and Darleene expected you guys would be doing the rest." One girl groaned while another licked her lips amused, "You don't know how to dance do ya?" I shook my head uncomfortable by all the stares. "And here you girls were bitter over some competiton when she won't even be here long enough to steal your shampoo," the purple haired girl said. "Yeah yeah whatever. Your supposed to teach me how to dance," I said arms crossed. The girl rolled her eyes, "Hunny we cant teach you. It's all up to you, the outfit, and the shoes." She said shrugging. "Speaking of," she said bending down grabbing a bin under the counter. "Here. Spiky snd Black," she said handing me the heels. "Just like what J's gonna kill her with after!" one girl said cackling.

I stepped out into the lounge. The joker wasn't here. Frosty had disappeared. Just some bartenders. I sighed and signaled to the DJ... or whatever this guy in the booth was doing... probably jerking off, to start the music. I looked at the stage but felt too intimidated. However, a little further from the stage was a glass cage with a pole inside. Small. Not much room to move besides small gestures. Definitely not what the boss probably wanted. But I had to start somewhere.

I took a deep breathe. This wasn't me. I knew that. I know that. I'm a character. Just like these girls. I'm here to live. Like a soldier. Kill on the field, do what you have to do. But your not a murderer, that's not who you are. It's what you do to live. As I let out my breathe and began to strut across the floor to the cage, I felt me sort of shed. The lights, the music, the feel. It's not where someone like me belongs but I'm not me, I'm someone else. And that someone else came to life the second I grabbed that pole. The girls were right, it's not up to you. You do what you do and it's either natural or not. I slid my hand up and down the pole and turned my back to it, pressing up against it. I locked eyes with the DJ and smirked. Practice for our special guest. I slowly slid my back down the pole spreading my legs as I went down, eyes locked with the DJ. My hair flipped as I shot back up, grinding against the pole with an innocent look in my eyes. I put my hands above my head on the pole and threw my head back, arching my back before bringing my gaze back to him. I slid a hand down my thigh as I walked around the pole in a predatory way. I abruptly stopped, pressed myself to the glass, dropping down, my legs apart. I licked my lips as I ran one hand through my hair, the other across my breasts and down my stomach. I climbed back up against the glass and winked at him, knowing I had his attention, as I returned back to the pole. Twisting my legs around it. Wrapping my hands around it. Letting it get lost in my hair. The gold chains dangling from my bra occasionally hitting the bar as I grinded against it. Eventually the song stopped and I heard a clap. Boogie man/The green goblin/Joker/Boss?... and googly eyes. The green eyed goblin was whistling, applauding me. While the other man's eyes roamed over any part of me... besides my eyes.

"She's new," Was the first thing I heard from the man. His eyes eventually landing on mine a grin on his face. A few seconds had passed before another song came on calling me back to my pole, no not my pole. Her pole. Not me. Her.

I grinned watching her dance. What a shiny little play thing. So... so delectable. Mmmmm all goes weeellll maybe she'll be in my bed. Not just Mister Mafia man here. Not too important really. What fun is business after all? "So buddy... frieeeeennnd, shall we discuss?" I said gesturing to a table to which he gave me a nod. I walked over, bitta pep in my step you could say huh? "Mmmm you like her huh?" "What happened to your blondie. Quinn was it?" He said frowning. "You don't like her. She's veerrryyy special. I did a lot to get her." The man nodded, "no she's... she's something. I just never saw you without the doll. She expire or something?" he said. "aaahhhhh YES don't they all." The man frowned his attention turned back to my toy. "Why dont ya being her out?" he said gesturing to her, "Let me see how special she really is," he said winking. I clenched my teeth but none the less grinned. Business. I let out a loud groan, turning everyone's eyes toward me and stomped. "Princess, You have an admirer. Come keep him waaarm would ya?" She stepped out of her cage slowly, eyes looking him up and down. She knew what she was doing as she strutted over turning and plopping into his lap. "You like me? Why didn't ya just say so," she said pulling at the greedy man's collar, running her finger along his collarbone. "I heard you were extra special, had to see for myself," he said smiling running his hands along her waist. NO. "Back to business now, eh?" I said grinning, "Daddy wants to hear about the new toys he's getting." The man laughed, "Oh they're more than just toys. And besides, we have the whole night! Let the pretty thing give me a proper welcome huh?" "Oooooh your so sweet." she said grabbing my attention. I growled pushing the table and standing up. "As you wiiisshhh."

"The temper on that one huh?" he said running his finger along my collar bone. "Mmmmm yeah he real feisty," I said biting my lip with a slight giggle. "What's a sweet thing like you doing with him mista?" I said leaning in brushing my lips against his ear. "Oh I ain't so sweet doll,"

I grinned and heard a bang, hiding my head in his neck only to pull out after a moment of silence. I jumped back, falling off the chair seeing him. "M-mista," I said yanking him by his collar only for his head to fall against the table.

Ahh haaa aha ha.

"I thought you needed him," I said flabbergasted. "Nooooo no NO," he said hopping off the counter walking over to me gun dangling from his finger like it was harmless. Like he was harmless. "What I neeeed iss a to be sCratched." he said with a frightful look in his eyes. "Get back in your cage for daddy would ya?"
