"Is everything ready for today?"

Carrie looked over her shoulder at Donna. Rolling her eyes as her best friend frantically moved around the room. "You do know you're already married right? This is just a vow renewal."

Donna stopped, nervously looking at Carrie, before she nodded. "Yeah, I know but that still doesn't mean that I don't want everything to be perfect."

Carrie put her hands on Donna's shoulders. "Everything is going to be fine. Just relax."

Donna shook her head, running her fingers through her hair. "I don't know how you're so calm. The guys are coming home today and then there's the wedding later on as well."

"Trust me, I'm freaking out on the inside but one of us has to be calm," Carrie answered just as a baby cried out.

"Yours or mine?" Donna questioned, just as another cry was let out.

"I think it's both," Carrie answered as she made her way out of the room.

"It's good to have you back bro."

Jax clapped Opie on the back as they hugged. "It's feels good to be back."

Opie pulled back before handing him his kutte. "Big day today."

Jax nodded. "Everything set?"

Opie nodded as they walked towards the bikes lined up. "Just need to finish a few things up but everything's good to go."

Jax nodded before they all got on their bikes, relishing in the sound and feel of the engine. Taking one last look behind them, happy to be going home and leaving Stockton prison behind them. Before they drove off making their way back home to their families. Families they hadn't been able to see except for on visitation day.

"You have everything?"

"Yeah. The kids are all packed up and I have everything but the dress," Carrie said looking around to make sure she wasn't forgetting anything.

"Mackenzie picked up the dresses and she's taking them over to the reservation," Donna informed as she finished packing up her stuff. "Ana and Gina along with their girls are going to arrive around four to do our hair and makeup."

Carrie nodded while she made sure the babies were buckled up in their car seats. Before she turned to Donna. "Ready to head out?"

Donna double checked everything before nodding, quickly calling out to Kenny and Ellie. The twins had been entertaining Abel, who ran into the room ahead of them wrapping his arms around Carrie's legs.

Carrie smiled before picking him up, placing a big kiss on his cheek. Which had him laughing as he hugged her. "Ready to go see daddy?"

The roar of motorcycles grew louder the closer they got to the lot. Carrie felt the butterflies start fluttering at the sound. She was anxious to see Jax and not have to worry about how long they had before he had to go back to his cell.

Carrie looked over at Abel as he was coloring on the picnic table with Gemma. Donna and the twins were sitting opposite of them, while Donna had their newest addition in her lap. Smiling, Carrie turned as the roar grew louder, along with the cheers that erupted as they pulled onto the lot.

She gently rocked to keep the baby from fussing, before she met the blue eyes belonging to short haired blonde biker, that made the her heart skip a beat every time she looked into them. Carrie grinned at him as he quickened his pace, closing the distance between them before he pulled her into his arms and kissing her long and hard.

Both of them pulling away as there was a cry of protest from the baby in her arms. Jax chuckled as he took in the newest addition to the Teller family. "Someone wants all the attention on them."

"This one isn't so good with sharing," Carrie said rolling her eyes as she handed the baby over to Jax. Turning around as Abel came running over, having gotten tired of waiting for his dad's attention.

"Yeah, well, like mother like daughter," Jax joked before he squatted down to hug Abel. "Hey buddy, I missed you."

Carrie felt herself melt as Jax interacted with both kids, kissing both of them on the head as he got up. Following Abel to the picnic table, so he could show him what he had been doing, their eyes meeting as he looked over his shoulder at her. Giving her a wink, a silent promise followed as his eyes trailed the length of her. Carrie smiled, before biting her lip in anticipation before the moment was ruined.

"Church in ten minutes!"

"Guess that's our cue to leave and finish up things for the wedding."

Carrie looked over her shoulder at Donna, wanting to spend time with her newly released husband but also knowing that she had promised Donna to help her.

"You know, I thought I would have been able to go back home and spend time with my husband. You know the one I haven't been able to spend a lot of time with because he was locked up," Carrie turned to look at Donna, who was driving, before turning to look out the passenger side window.

"Look, you'll see him at the wedding," Donna shrugged. "You already handled 14 months being without him, you can last a few more hours of not seeing him. Besides we'll be busy getting the last minute preparations done so that'll make the time pass fast."

"I'm not getting married."

Carrie raised her eyebrows, looking over towards Donna who sat across the room getting her hair done. "You're already married Donna, so it's a little too late for that. Besides this vow renewal was your idea."

Donna shook her head, towards where Carrie sat, having just finished getting her hair done and moving onto makeup. "No it wasn't. I just played along but I'm not getting married today."

"Then why are we here," Carrie said motioning around the room.

"Just because I'm not getting married again, doesn't mean there isn't going to be a wedding."

Carrie rolled her eyes. "Well, it's going to be hard to have a wedding, if there's no bride," she pointed out, just as Mackenzie walked over to where the white garment bag hung.

"There is going to be a bride, it's just not going to be Donna," Mackenzie said before unzipping the bag, removing it, so the dress hung in plain view. Leaving Carrie speechless, as she saw the fit and flare long sleeve lace dress with a semi backless back she had fallen in love with.

"Why do you think I had you try on wedding dresses with me or that I asked your opinion over every little detail," Donna said as she gave Carrie a smirk. "Your man planned all of this. He wanted you to have the wedding you guys didn't have the first time."

"You nervous?"

Jax shook his head. "I think I'm more anxious than anything. You think Donna already broke the news?"

Opie chuckled. "I'm surprised Donna didn't break sooner. She was a pain to deal with when it came to the planning. They both were."

Jax chuckled while shaking his head. "Don't let them hear you saying that."

"I'm just glad it's almost over," Opie said before shaking his head. "I love my wife and my sister but I was getting ready to tell Hale to arrest me just so I could get away from the craziness."

Jax laughed at Opie's facial expression as they made their way towards the field where the wedding ceremony and reception were going to be held.

"You look beautiful sweetheart."

"Thanks dad," Carrie said, softly laughing as she got a little teary eyed. Taking in her father's expression as he saw her in the dress, before he kissed her on the forehead.

Donna approached both of them. "You two ready?"

Carrie exhaled, nodding and taking Piney's hand as he guided her towards the truck.

"You know I could just keep driving if you don't want to do this."

Carrie laughed before turning to look at Piney. "I'm already married to him Pop. This is more of a sweet from him."

"I'm just saying," Piney said before he slowed the truck down. "I could keep going by the time they realize what's happening, we'll be off the reservation."

Carrie chuckled shaking her head as she took in the bikes lined up leading to the floral arch. Which consisted of white, cream and soft peach flowers. Where Piney would walk her under before he walked her down the aisle to Jax. The moment they stopped at the end, was the moment her heart started racing.

Feeling nervous and anxious as Piney got out of the drivers side before he made his way to her. "You ready sweetheart?"

"Yeah," she whispered before taking his hand and getting out. Being careful not mess up the bouquet or her dress and veil.

Jax was joking around with Opie and Chibs as they stood at the altar. Donna and Mackenzie rolling their eyes at their silly antics before the instrumental notes of Elvis Presley's "Cant Help Falling In Love" started. Causing everyone that was sitting down to stand and turn towards back.

Seeing Carrie walking down the aisle in her wedding dress stole his breath away. Even though they were already married it didn't take away from it. If anything it probably added more to it because that was his wife walking towards him.

"You take care of her Jax," Piney gruffly said as he transferred her hand over to his.

Jax nodded giving Piney's arm a reassuring squeeze before he and Carrie stood in front of each other. Carrie handed her bouquet to Donna before facing him again.

"Welcome everyone to the Wahewa reservation. We are all gathered here today to witness the joining in marriage of Carrie and Jax," Chief Charlie Horse said as before looking at the couple in front of him. "I would like to share with you all a blessing from the apache before they exchange vows and rings and forever linking themselves to each other."

Chief Charlie Horse looked down at the book in his hands."Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter for the other. Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other. Now there will be no loneliness, for each of you will be companion to the other. Now you are two persons, but there is only one life before you. May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years. May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon the earth."Chief Charlie Horse looked up, looking from Jax and Carrie before he continued.

"Treat yourselves and each other with respect, and remind yourselves often of what brought you together. Give the highest priority to the tenderness, gentleness and kindness that your connection deserves. When frustration, difficulties and fear assail your relationship, as they threaten all relationships at one time or another, remember to focus on what is right between you, not only the part which seems wrong. In this way, you can ride out the storms when clouds hide the face of the sun in your lives - remembering that even if you lose sight of it for a moment, the sun is still there. And if each of you takes responsibility for the quality of your life together, it will be marked by abundance and delight."

Jax turned to Opie. "You got the rings?"

"Oh shit that was my job?" Ope questioned as he patted his kutte, before taking the rings out of the pockets of his dress pants, which Donna had forced the groom along with his groomsmen to wear. Opie handed the rings over as Donna glared at him, causing both he and Jax to chuckle.

Donna handed the ring to Carrie, while not finding her husband's joke funny. She was about to yell at him, if he hadn't pulled the rings out. Relaxing a little bit as he gave her a smile and a wink. Before looking back at the couple as they said their vows.

"Honestly I don't really have anything prepared because I didn't know this was our wedding until like an hour ago," Carrie said as she and Jax, along with their guests laughed. Before she softly squeezed Jax's hand. Taking a deep breath and letting it out. "Jax, even though we're already married. I vow to love and honor you and stand by your side through thick and thin. I make a vow to you today not to be perfect or to expect perfection from you, but to always grow from every experience. I vow to never give up on you, and to be your loving wife and old lady."

Carrie placed the ring onto his finger, feeling her heart fill with love and adoration for the man who had planned all of this.

"Lyn, I promise to love you, cherish you and protect you and our kids. I can't promise that this marriage will be perfect but I can promise to work through it all together. I promise to stand by you just how you have standing by me through everything," Jax said as he placed the rings on her finger. Before hearing a threat clear behind him, making him sigh and roll his eyes. "And I promise to treat you as good as my leather and ride you as much as my Harley."

The club had joined on the last part before breaking into cheers and claps, as Carrie couldn't hold her laughter in, feeling herself blushing as Jax gave her a smirk and wink.

"By the power vested in my by the laws of the Wahewa and the state of California I now pronounce you husband and wife. You can kiss your beautiful bride now," Chief Charlie Horse said before Jax pulled Carrie into him giving her a thorough but short kiss. As their guests erupted in applause and cheers.

"I can't believe you planned all of this," Carrie said motioning around at the wedding reception. Watching as their family and friends mingled at the tables while others were dancing on the dance floor. "I really appreciate it and I love you more for it."

"I'm all about the fairytale baby," Jax said, giving her a smirk before kissing her. "I love you too Lyn but I can't wait until I can get you all to myself. Have a proper wedding night this time around."

Carrie rolled her eyes at her husband. "Seriously Jax?"

"We've been married for fourteen months and the whole time I was in jail. I also set this whole thing in motion. All I'm asking is for a little loving from my wife," Jax said as he kissed her neck, smirking against her skin as her breathing changed.

"Sorry to interrupt but Maddy and Abel want their parents," Donna informed before handing their pouting daughter over to Jax before Abel climbed onto her lap. Giving them a smile before she walked away to join her own family at a table nearby.

Carrie kissed Abel's head before watching Jax interact with their daughter, feeling the overwhelming love fill her as she sat with her little family. Knowing that at least for tonight they didn't have any worries.

So there we have it.

Welcome back to Jax and Carrie's story. Their journey is far from over and at least we got a little fluff and happiness in the first chapter after everything they've been through so far.

For this story I'm going to be veering off from the shows plot line although don't be surprised if some of the things that happened in season 4 and on happen here.

With that said I hope you enjoy and continue reading for the next part in the Carrie/Jax story.

By the way their daughter's name is Madelaine but Maddy for short. Also in case you forgot Jax calls Carrie, Lyn that's his nickname for her when he wants her to know he's being serious.

With that said don't forget to Comment, Follow or add this story to your library.
