Tales

A/N: Hello again! I hope you are well and that you are protected at home. Well, I came back now with this compilation of tales that happen before, during and after my series of fanfics that I posted in the last two years (A forgotten past until The inverse is the new normal). Actually it wasn't supposed to be posted before July, but I decided to post it earlier because of what's happening around the world. I know that it is not easy for anyone, because none of us was waiting for everything to reach the level that it did. Well, I hope you like these tales and that they serve as another means of entertainment for you to enjoy in this quarantine.

A/N: He-man and the masters of the universe, She-ra the princess of power are NOT mine, they belong to their respective owners. My fanfictions are for entertainment purposes, NOT for profit. I don't profit from them.

A/N: Any grammatical error, it is the translator's fault, as I still don't speak fluent English.

Chapter 1: The beginning.

Princess Leandra looked around as the ship approached the royal palace of Eternos.

''It's beautiful.''

Her younger sister, Arabela, smiled brightly. '' And it seems to be bigger than our house. ''

'' Oh please! '' Chaol, the middle brother shook his head. '' We live in a palace. ''

'' It was a joke, you idiot. ''

'Enough, you two.' 'The queen of Beira-Mar exclaimed. ''Not today.''

Leandra stifled a laugh as she looked out the window. Her mother has always been a queen very much focused on the punctuality and obedience of her children. At home the last word was always hers and frankly Leandra always admired her for it.

'' You better listen to your mom. ''

The two teenagers nodded.

'' Today is a night to have fun. '' The king turned to his eldest daughter. ''Mostly you. You have been working too hard on the affairs of the kingdom and focusing on the powers. Today you'll forget that and just be Leandra, not the princess of Beira-Mar, but Leandra. ''

She smiled. '' Thank you dad, mom. ''

'' And who knows, maybe she will meet Prince Miro. '' Arabella laughed.

'' Bella! ''

'' You know she's right. You are the only princess who has not personally seen the prince of the planet. '' Chaol held on as the ship stopped.

'' And what's so different from the rest? He's just another warrior prince ... ''

'' They say he is handsome. '' Patrick smiled at his daughter.

''Dad! You too?''

'' It's the truth, my dear. '' He spoke as he left the ship and stretched out his arm to help his wife out and waited for the children before everyone walked to the doors of the throne hall.

Like all the guests, they also greeted the kings of Eternia.

'' Oh, King Patrick and Queen Marina. It is an honor to have you in our home. '' Jeremy, the king of the planet at the time, received them with a respectful nod. Beira-Mar was the richest and most powerful kingdoms after Eternos and the kings maintained good relations, although they almost never saw each other. '' You also young princes. Good to see you. ''

The Beira-Mar royal family bowed to the kings of the planet in the form of respect.

Patrick looked around. '' And where is our prince? ''

'' It's somewhere in the hall, I'm sure. But please, enjoy the party. '' Queen Brina stretched out her arm towards the almost full hall.

They nodded and entered the hall.

Marina took the eldest daughter's hand. '' Have fun today. ''

Leandra nodded.

Hours later Logan left the hall in search of the prince of Eternia. Miro, although he was a prince who performed all royal duties, Miro considered himself more of a warrior and did not like parties very much.

'' Tired? '' Logan approached the prince. The man-at-arms knew Miro well enough to just leave him around. He might be able to disappear just so he wouldn't join the party.

The prince turned to his friend. ''What do you think?''

''I think so. And I also think you should be more than used to it. ''

'' Yes, I know. '' He looked into the ballroom. '' We better get in. ''

Logan patted the prince on the shoulder before the two men entered the hall again.

Miro came in more out of obligation than anything else, but when he entered, a sound immediately drew attention. A laugh to be exact, a laugh he barely heard because of the noise of the music. Looking around, he looked for the owner of the laugh. Meeting her in the middle of the dance floor, dancing with a man with a crown on his head.

Looking more closely, Miro recognized him as King Patrick of Beira-Mar, so logically, she was the princess there. But what's her name again? He had met so many people, he couldn't remember.

The king spun her around and the princess laughed again. The long blond hair swayed with the sudden movement.

Miro had to admit, she was beautiful.

'' Did your mother never tell you that staring is ugly? '' There came a voice at the side and Miro straightened up while looking at 17-year-old Prince Chaol.

Seeing that he destabilized the prince, Chaol laughed. '' Go to her. ''

''Serious?''

''Yes. Go there! Ask to dance with other girls and gradually get closer. ''

Miro looked at the young man, who just shrugged.

Some dances later.

'' It looks like someone is trying to get closer, sis. '' Chaol commented to his sister as they danced.

Leandra looked around and found a young man with brown hair dancing with a girl a few meters away. And sometimes he looked at her.

Leandra looked at her brother again. ''What are you trying to do?''

'' He thought you were beautiful and you think the same about him. Now it's time for you two to get to know each other. As soon as our dance is over you go to him. ''

''You are unbelievable.''

'' I'm good at what I do. ''

''Not. You see something that doesn't exist. I barely know him, yes, he is ... ''

'' Handsome? ''

''Charming. But it's not enough to like someone. ''

'' That's why you'll meet him. Come on Lea! You haven't dated anyone in years! Give him a chance. ''

Leandra looked again at the prince and looked back at her brother. With a sigh she nodded.

Chaol smiled. '' If marriage happens, I want to be in the front row. ''

'' Shut up. '' She said playing with a smile.

He laughed.

Miro watched the mysterious princess laughing with her younger brother. He wondered what Chaol was planning.

Well, the song ended and everyone bowed to the dance partner. After the lady with whom he was dancing moved away, returning to the group of friends all happy to have danced with the crown prince, Miro turned and walked to the mysterious princess before someone else did.

''Can I have this dance? '' He asked as she turned to him.

With a soft nod she said yes.

After a few seconds of uncomfortable silence, Leandra decided to speak.

'' It is an honor to meet you, Prince Miro. ''

'' Just as it is an honor, princess ... '' He stopped, waiting for her to speak.

Holding back laughter, she smiled. '' Leandra. Princess Leandra. ''

'' Princess Leandra. A beautiful name. ''

She raised an eyebrow. ::: Really? ::: She thought.

Miro saw this. '' And I see you're not a big fan of praise. ''

'' Not for someone I've just met. ''

''Sorry then.''

The answer surprised Leandra, who broke into a small smile.

'' You are straightforward in what you want. That's nice.''

'' And you say what you think. I liked you.''

The princess couldn't help laughing. ''You are always like that?''

'' Not usually. I don't talk much at parties. ''

'' Does not appear in them too, from what I hear. ''

Now it was Miro who raised an eyebrow. '' If I remember correctly, I visited Beira-Mar some time ago. ''

''And?''

'' And by chance the heiress princess wasn't home. '' He looked at her with amusement. '' She was on a horse ride that day. You know, few princesses refuse to meet other royals. ''

'' I'm not like most princesses. ''

'' This can be seen. ''

The music came to an end while they were talking, and as soon as they finished dancing, Miro didn't want to stop the conversation and had an idea.

'' You like horses, right? ''

''Yes.''

''Come with me. I think you'll like it. '' He held out his hand to her.

Without thinking twice, Leandra took his hand and they both left the ballroom.

The two walked to the royal stables while talking. Miro had to admit, it was great to talk to Leandra. The chat flowed with incredible ease. And Leandra had to agree with her brother now. There was so much more to Miro than she thought.

As soon as Miro opened the stable and turned on the lights she put her hands over her mouth.

Miro smiled because he knew very well which horse she was looking at.

A mare spotted in three colors, white, brown and black was in the first cabin of the stable.

Miro walked over to the mare and put his hand on her neck, stroking the coat.

'' This is Ruby. The fastest of all Eternos. ''

Leandra held out her hand so Ruby could smell it. '' Hi ... '' The mare approached the princess after a while. ''She is beautiful. I've never seen one of three colors. ''

'' She is rare. The only one of the colts that won three colors. ''

'' Can I ... '' Leandra looked at Miro expectantly.

''Now? But you...''

'' Am I not dressed for this? No. But I want to do that. '' She looked back at Ruby, who turned her eyes to Miro as if asking him the same thing.

Miro smiled and released Ruby. '' Just don't leave without me. I'll get my horse. ''

Leandra smiled as she sealed Ruby and waited for Miro. Something told her that she would enjoy the ride.
