Is it December and I am still posting this story? Yes... Yes it is. I am going to try my hardest to actually get it done before New Years. I just wanna get it done and all.

Chapter 25: Curse of the Chibis IV (Roxas, Xion, Isa)

The chibi situation was really starting to get out of hand. Honestly Lea could not understand what the deal was with it. All of his friends were popping up as chibis all over the place it seemed. First it was Riku, then Vanitas, and most recently Zexion. If it kept up he was figuring everyone was going to be a chibi by the end of summer.

But who would be next? That was the mystery. As far as Zexion and Vexen found, there was no reason or exact pattern for who was becoming a chibi and who wasn't. Maybe that sent paranoia into, but not to Lea. Sure he was confused about it and thought the pictures of the boys as chibis was hilarious, but the thought that he could end up as one too didn't even phase him.

But when he woke up one day to hear loud complaints coming from down the hall, he should have at least expected something. He ran down as fast as he could to see what the big commotion was and he stopped dead in his tracks when he saw his three best friends in the living room, small and chibified. Was chibified even a real word? The thought came and went as fast as it took Lea to stumble over to his friends.

"Guys uh… so uh…"

"Don't even say it!" Roxas shouted.

"But you don't even know what I was going to say!"

"We all know what you are thinking Lea, so you can't try and deny it," Isa replied as he crossed his little chibi arms.

It was so hard for Lea not to say anything. He tried his best to keep his mouth shut, but it was becoming increasingly hard not to just open up and say it. "Not even one thing? Just one little thing?"

Isa glared harshly at him. Even in his chibi form he came off with an intimidating aura. "No comment and no puns."

Lea pouted. "Aw you're no fun."

"We need to solve this though," Xion said. "Cause Lea has to be the one to bring us to Zexion's lab where the others are. We can't just sit around waiting for more of us to become a chibi! If Lea becomes one too it'll take us forever to make it to Zexion's!"

"Right right, I gotta be the chauffeur don't I?" Lea sighed as he stood back up. "Can I at least get one picture?"

Roxas was already giving him an angry glare that meant no, but Lea wasn't ready to give up yet. Lea was going to get that picture, whether Roxas wanted it or not. He grinned happily at the three little ones now. "Okay! But maybe I should go out and buy car seats first. Can't have you little guys flying all over the car."

"I'm 16! I'm not a baby!" Roxas pouted.

Xion started to chuckle. "But you are like the size of one."

"No I am not!"

"You're right! You're even smaller," Xion grinned.

"I am not smaller than a baby! Babies can't walk! I can walk!"

Xion wobbled over to him and gave a slight shove. Roxas nearly stumbled over his small stubbly legs. "H-Hey! Not cool!"

Xion couldn't stop laughing. "Sorry I can't help it! You are just so bobble-heady like this."

"You are too!" Roxas shouted before he tried to shove Xion in return.

Lea snickered as he watched the two of them childishly fight. Isa stood right besides him, his arms crossed and his expression unwavering as usually. "Lea… You can't just let them keep doing this."

"Aw but it's fun. Like what if I just took out my phone and,"

Isa jumped at Lea, and snatched away his phone before he could do anything. "I am with Xion and Roxas on this matter. We shouldn't delay this if we want to find a way to fix it."

"Alright, alright... " Lea said. "And give me back my phone!"

He snatched it back before going over to Roxas and Xion, who were still swatting at one another. He quickly scooped up the two, one in each arm. "Okay you two, that's enough. We're going to head to Zexion's and hope that he can get this fixed or Vexen or whomever is left not as a chibi."

With the two young ones finally quieting down Lea headed out towards the car placing them in the back seat along with Isa. He buckled them all under one buckle before taking off to head to Zexion's place.

"All three of them?" Vexen gawked. "All over one night?"

"I guess so but I wasn't watching all of them sleep you know. I just woke up to see them all like this," Lea explained.

Xion, Roxas, and Isa were already off with the other three, conversing with each other. Roxas seemed to be still very annoyed over the matter even though the other seemed much more chill. Even Vanitas seemed to have calmed down from his initial first few days, or maybe he was just holding everything back.

"This is just becoming absurd. How can I deduce a pattern when anyone at any given time could just end up as a chibi? There seems to be no rime or reason at all for this," Vexen huffed as he turned to his work at the computer. "You four all stay in the same household and only you stay as yourself but the other three are chibis? It makes no sense whatsoever."

"So it's not like some disease?" Lea asked as he walked over.

"If it is, it's very selected for the person, but between the six there are not many overlapping similarities to their immune systems or even blood types. It seems to be on a path that is more sporadic and random, otherwise you and I should have been affected by now."

"Or maybe it just takes time," Vanitas randomly interjected. "Like uh per person? Like the older you are the longer it takes?"

"I am the same age as Lea," Isa commented. "So clearly it is not that."

"It's nothing we all ate right?" Xion asked. "Did any of us have the same type of cupcake recently?"

"I prefer not to eat such sweets so that would be a 'no' for me," Zexion added. "I don't think there is any true reason for this… it's just becoming chibis on random days. I would not be surprised if eventually you two were cursed to this form as well."

"Aw no way! I really don't want to be a chibi!" Lea exclaimed. "You gotta solve this Vexen! And quick!"

"I am going as fast as I am able. There is still not a lot of info to work with. But I'll try."

They weren't sure how much time they would have or what would happen next. All they could do was hope that this chibi curse didn't get any further out of hand. But with the future's uncertain and no cure in sight, it was starting to look rather wary.
