Shira could still feel the wetness on her cheeks from last night as she opened her eyes for the first time that day. She looked over her shoulder to see him still on the floor with his eyes closed.

She thought about checking for breathing again but she couldn't handle having more tears fall so she got up and walked to the entrance and looked out.

Better start getting used to this place.

She looked over her shoulder one last time to see him in the same position as before.

Please wake up soon. I don't know what I'll do if you don't.

It has been a while since Shira left when his emerald eyes opened up for the first time that day. He groaned as he sat up, feeling a sharp pain in his chest. He looked down to see his wounds covered with stitches.

Better add these to the list, he thought as he looked at his old wounds, mainly the big, most painful one when he clawed him very slowly. Diego tried to get up but fell as his chest was still hurting as the wounds haven't scarred yet. As he was on the floor, he smelled a familiar scent, it was from a female saber. As he realized this, a smile formed on his face. He groaned as he slowly got up again, this time he was able to slowly walk up to the entrance of the cave and looked out. Diego sighed as he slowly sat down and looked at the area around him.

His mind went back to the conversation he had with Daniel.

"I gotta go back, I'm sorry."Daniel let out a smile. "It's cool. We'll see each other again."Daniel walked up to him. "Until we meet again"The two hugged and Diego started to feel tired. He laid down and closed his eyes

Diego looked up into the sky. "Thank you Daniel. Until we meet again"

"I know it's a new island and all but I didn't think hunting would take this long!"

Shira kept pulling the antelope towards the cave. She dropped it and sat down to take a break. She turned around and saw she wasn't far from the cave. She sighed and lowered her head when she remembered how she left him there, sleeping, not breathing. Shira knew that if he didn't wake up soon, he would stay that way forever.

She picked up the antelope again and continued.

Shira placed the antelope on the ground and turned around. That was when she was able to see the emerald eyes. She felt her mouth drop a bit and her heart beating. After she came out of the shock, she ran over and ran into him, without injuring him, and hugged him, the tears immediately fell out of her eyes. He was alive, that's all she cared about.

I'm really sorry for not posting. School and my life keep holding me back from writing. I think I'll post 2 more chapters then the story will end. Do you guys want an epilogue after the last chapter? It would only be one chapter but still. Review to answer.
