Hi, so I'm back. I know that it's been a long time since I've last written, but I've been super busy the last year, but now I am back. I am sorry for updating about a year later, but better late than never. I do have an idea on how I want this story to end, but it all depends on whether I will write a sequel to it or not. I do have an idea on another story involving Spinelli and her grandma, but with Spinelli spending summer vacation with her grandma. I will also update my other stories. Now onto reviews.

Alicia: Oh wow, I hope your grandma is at least nicer than Aggie.

Oh God: I can't promise anything.

Gdog: I'm glad you liked it, and that you think the morning is similar to recess. Yes, her friends are nice and supportive. They'll support their friend no matter what.

3rdStreet: Ha, wouldn't that be something if Aggie were an undercover agent for the Ashleys. But no, that's not it. They haven't thought of turning Spinelli into one of them in years. Aggie is just very old fashioned and strict, so she doesn't believe that Spinelli should be acting the way she acts. Oh, and yes, the beauty pageant did take place in this story. This story could go a lot of ways. You'll all just have to keep reading to figure it out.

Now onto the story.

Chapter 6: school

Spinelli and her friends were now outside of their school, and Spinelli just looked at the building. She knew she had to face everyone at some point, but she also knew that, as soon as she would step into that building, then her reputation would be over. It was a lose/lose situation for her. She also knew that she didn't have any classes with her friends after lunch, so she was alone there, alone with the Ashleys.

T.J was the first to speak up. "Okay Spin you can do it. You are strong, and we are here for you no matter what. Right guys."

"Right." The rest of the gang said.

"Oh wow, thanks you guys. But I don't have any classes with the rest of you after lunch. I have classes with the Ashleys after lunch, and they'll be a bother to me. I'm not sure I can leave them alone."

"Why not just sit as far away from the Ashleys as possible Spinelli, and simply ignore them." Gretchen said.

"Right, ignore them. How hard can that be." Spinelli said, before continuing. "Well here goes nothing." She gulped as she walked into the school with her friends. She would just have to go against her instinct and ignore everyone.

She was right, in that everyone from the freshman class starred at her. Most of the upperclassmen didn't care, expect for boys, who starred at her. She wasn't used to that kind of attention, least of all from boys. She went into her first class, which she had with T.J. She was grateful for her friend.

The next couple of hours had went by surprisingly easy, due to her friends being there to support her, and they thankfully didn't ask any questions, at least until lunch.

Eventually it became time for lunch.

She and her friends had paid for the food and found a table to sit at.

Once they were seated, T.J started talking. "Okay Spin, spit it out. What's going on with you."

"Well it all started that Saturday that my grandma came to visit. She and my mom have been talking on the phone, and my mom told her about me getting into trouble. My grandma believes that she should have an opinion on my life. Then that Saturday, you know I was home late. After that, my grandma decided to stay for the next month." Spinelli said before she continued. "And well she has decided that I should enter in a stinking beauty pageant at the end of this month."

"What." The others said in unison, before T.J spoke. "Well can't you just say no. She can't actually dictate your life."

"I tried. When she and my parents told me, she said that my parents had agreed, and that if I didn't do it, then I would be forced to spend my summer vacation with her."

"But why would she want to enter you in a beauty pageant, and why would she want you to spend your summer vacation with her." Gretchen said, clearly confused. As were the rest of the gang, expect Spinelli of course.

"Because she wants me to be more feminine. Wants me to be girly, and basically an Ashley." Spinelli said grimacing through the last thing, before continuing, "she says it's supposed to help keep me out of trouble. My parents don't care. They agree with her, my mom is thrilled at me entering the stupid pageant, and my dad just agrees with my mom. I'm also supposed to learn manners. She's even hired a tutor to help me get my grades up. I'm also not supposed to complain. I'm just supposed to sit through the whole thing smiling. Oh, and I'm not allowed to get into more trouble. If I do, then I'll still have to spend summer with my grandma. It sucks."

"Oh wow, I'm so sorry to hear that Spin. But we'll help you out. We'll help you get through the pageant without getting into trouble, and then once it's over, you can go back to the same Spinelli we know and love. It's just one month, and you'll just continue to stay out of trouble afterwards. How hard can it be. We'll help, won't we guys." T.J said.

"Right." The rest of the gang said.

"Gee, thanks you guys. You really made me see that I can get through this next month." Spinelli said, grateful for her friends. She would just have to get through this next month, and then once they start their sophomore year, she'll go back to being Spinelli.

Soon enough, lunch passed, and they were all headed off to next class. Unfortunately for Spinelli, that meant class with all the Ashleys.

She was walking with her friends to her class before arriving in front of it. Her friends wished her good luck before going off to their own classes. She gulped before walking into the class, and of course the Ashleys were already seated. She could see that the only seat available was right next to Ashley A, who was sitting amongst the other Ashleys.

She sat down and held her head low. But of course the Ashleys couldn't help but make a remark towards her new look.

"OMG Spin ugly, did you, like, have a personality transplant, and, like, is that a necklace similar." Ashley A said.

"What, no." Spinelli said, tucking the necklace inside the dress."

"I, like, still think you, like, still had a personality transplant."

"Yearh, you, like, look not like your typical ugly self." Ashley B chimed in.

"Maybe she, like, finally cracked." Ashley Q said

"Well duh. Must be all that fighting she does." Ashley T said.

"I knew it. I knew that at least one person from that group would crack. It was unavoidable." Ashley A said, before continuing. "Huh, no remark huh Spinelli. Must be all that fighting you usually do in your usual hooligan style."

Spinelli was tempted to say something to the Ashleys, but her friends were right. She had to get through the next month without getting into trouble.

The teacher eventually came in and said, "okay everyone, be seated, and let's turn to page 50 in our book."

For once, Spinelli was grateful that her teacher had arrived on time, but she could still feel the Ashleys whispering behind her ear and sending out notes. She was sure that it was about her.

"Okay Ashley s, no sorry, Spinelli, can you read the text."

"It's fine. You can call me Ashley."

"Well then Ashley S do you mind reading the text."

"Yearh sure." Spinelli said, before reading the text, even if she could hear the Ashleys snicker behind her back.

"Very fine miss Spinelli. Good to see that you're finally taking initiative in class. Miss Armbruster can take over since she's very talkative today." The teacher said.

Eventually, the rest of the day went by without a hitch.

She walked home with T.J and told him about class with the Ashleys, and how hard it was to just ignore them. T.J reassured her that the Ashleys would eventually leave her alone. They waved goodbye, and before coming in, Spinelli took the necklace back out again. She had to make sure that it was hidden away in school.

She finally came in and said, "I'm home."

"Oh Ashley. Good you're home. You can drop your books off in your room. Your tutor will be here in an hour, but in the meantime, we can continue your pageant training." Aggie said.

Spinelli did as told, unaware of how different her room would be.

She walked upstairs, and first thing she noticed was the door. Beforehand, there had been a sign on the door, but that was now replaced with the letters of her first name, all in pink.

She then opened the door and was shocked to see how different her room was. She didn't recognize it. The walls were pink. There was a purple desk and chair, with a white lamp. A purple nightlight, with a white nightstand. A white dresser, and a white closet, with a big mirror hanging from the closet door. A while table with a mirror, which had makeup standing on the table. Jewelry boxes on the makeup table, with jewelry inside them. White shelves with stuffed animals, books, and empty picture frames on them. White regular boxes standing on the floor. A music player hanging on the wall. A vase with flowers on the window still. Finally, an Altier with paint brushes. The room also smelled differently; like maybe it had lavender smell.

"What happened to my room." Spinelli said, after overcoming her shock.

"Oh, we redecorated. It looks much more pleasant and like the bedroom of a young girl like yourself. Now go check in the closet." Aggie said.

Spinelli then did as told, and instead of her usual clothes, was dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, shoes. All very different clothes from what she would usually wear. It was all girly clothes. Clothes that the Ashleys would wear. Then she looked in the dresser, and there were more girly clothes. Expect this time, it was sports clothes, pants, shirts, and t-shirts, and of course underwear. Bras and panties, and sports bras. But still girly clothes.

"Wait, what happened to my clothes."

"We bought you new clothes, and the old clothes has been given away to goodwill donations. The old clothes was too big for you. These clothes fit much better, and they're all appropriate clothes for a young girl like yourself." Aggie said.

"But I liked my old clothes, and I liked my old room." Spinelli said in disbelief. She couldn't believe it. First, she gets told she has to enter a beauty pageant. Then, she gets told she needs learn manners. Then, it's that she's not allowed to express herself. Then, it's that she has to get up early and cook. Then, it's that she had to go to a salon, change her hair, and get her ears pierced. If that wasn't enough, her entire room had been changed, and she had to wear girly clothes.

"I know you did, but the new room can help you act and behave more like a young lady, which you are. You can take up painting as a way to express yourself. Much better than fighting. As for the clothes. They will fit you better. The old clothes were too big for you, and they were boys clothes. You'll come to see things this way sooner or later. You'll see that it's for your own good." Aggie said, before she spoke again. "Now come along, we still have more pageant training before your tutor arrives."

To say Spinelli was upset, would be an understatement. It was official. Her grandma really was trying to change her and turn her into someone she wasn't. Oh god, what if her grandma met the Ashleys. That would be her worst nightmare, especially if the Ashleys were also entering this pageant. There was no way her parents would agree to let her change her room back. Her dad might, but her mom would never. She was stuck like this, until her next allowance. She just had to get through this next month.

Next chapter: the tutor

So, that is it for chapter 6, hope you all enjoyed it.

As always, I do not own recess or its characters, only my oc's.

Oh, and let me know who Spinelli's tutor should be. It won't be Gretchen. So, let me know if it should be someone from the show, or an OC.

Please R/R and let me know what you all think, if you have any suggestions, feel free to comment.
